I'm going to head to bed early to get some sleep. Hopefully that will help the dizziness but it's likely due to my pillow alignment anyway. This weekend I'll tackle the toilets, declutter the living room a bit more and wipe down the kitchen surfaces. I'm trying to do just 10 minutes at a time to avoid becoming overwhelmed.Sorry to hear about your dizziness; I hope a good night's sleep sorts it out.I'm trying to use your strategy on the ROD - just do a little bit every day and try to tidy it a bit more than I add to its untidiness (or better still, add no untidiness at all lol). Like you, I'm trying to avoid feeling overwhelmed by it, which I would if I tried to blitz it, whilst still doing everything else.

Morning all,
Been awake for ages so I have given in and got up. Very full brain here. Not much has stuck except sending love to Round, hoping all went well for Piggers yesterday and that I am coming to CoG's for lunch because it sounds delish!
Wising I could teleport @mumtoomany here to do DS decorating, I have started and really, really can't motivate myself to carry on. It looks rubbish and I wish I could shake a money tree to pay someone to do it for me. Anyhoo, first world problems etc.
Brain dump below, feel free to ignore.
Friday must do:- 8 hours paid stuff
- Ferry DD to and from her friend's house
- Meeting at 9.45am
- Get spag bol made and in SC
- Ring DWP (shudder)
- Collect DS from school
- Doctors appointment
- Sort movement paperwork for pigs for Monday
- Chemist
- Top up shop - bread, butter, cheese, toilet roll, teabags
- Watch next episode of Reacher tonight (yum)
- List one thing on marketplace and one thing on fleabay
- Work out how to post things that have sold on Vinted overnight, not sure if we need to print things, hope not as we don't have a printer!
- Research plants that rabbits are unlikely to eat and order some so I actually have something in pots outside rather than them being empty and getting me down each time I look at them

my pet rabbits have the run of the garden; I have to net anything i want to live. They’re not supposed to eat bay; they will eat young, tender plants but they leave my established bay alone now. They dug up my allium bulbs and ate them. They eat rhubarb, especially when it’s just coming through. They do leave my tree peony alone. They also don’t eat the blueberry bush, which is in a pot (ericaceous). Weeds, however, are safe from them…they don’t eat hairy bittercress or couch grass 🤣. I did have a calla lily (sp?) in a pot that went unscathed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thanks Valli. They scalped my blueberry plants the monkeys. Wild rabbits are everywhere here as you can imagine xx10

Morning all xx
Thank you for your love and kind words. Let's see what today brings. I've spoken to P and said that with his consent I can get involved- for a start I'd be ringing PALS and not just thinking about it. And I'd be asking what the NICE guidelines are and if they're being followed. And have they screened for leukaemia? I told S to ask for that but she said oh no he hasn't got the symptoms for that! She'd Googled it!!! But without his consent I'm stymied. It's very frustrating. And the fact is I don't know the key words to activate the NHS... and I work for them.
Heyho. And hey: what are you saying about my singing? Pops liked it. And I don't think he's deaf at all. Just biassed 😉
So. I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch (cheese, crackers and Christmas cake. Slinky starts on Monday and my fridge just keeps on giving cheese. There must be an end to it eventually), eaten my breakfast and supped my brew. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
And at 4.30pm my Out of Office will be set and I'll be yabba dabba dooooooooooooing into my Annual Leave. And the others can fight it out among themselves in my absence.
Oh. Hair appointment 5pm. Mustn't forget. Head's a shed.
Welcome Jings. Come on out to any lurkers nervous about jumping in. Out? In? You know what I mean.
Have a good day

A quick check-in - will comment on others' posts later, except to say ASB, lunch is being served at 1.30 if you can make it. Bring a rabbitWashed and dressed (water still dripping through in the bathroom) casserole in the oven, potatoes peeled and in water. Rang the deli with the lovely cheese straws but they still haven't re-started production, which they stopped before Christmas to concentrate on seasonal things. I wanted to have some cut up as nibbles before lunch. I roasted and salted some almonds yesterday so they will have to do, along with some nice crisps I have. It's a cold and miserable day and I'm hoping I can get the place warm enough for the butter to be soft enough to make the Eve's pudding as I don't have a microwave and oven is otherwise engaged.Off out to get the paper in a minute and then have a quick vac/tidy round before starting on the next stage of the lunch. Hope everyone has a good day.11
