ASB have fun at the beach
here in North Devon we have 2 in 5 miles, we are very lucky, but I prefer it when it's warmer! The only issue is that it's always very busy when the weather is good
Round, I am curious to know what the diagnosis was, if you're comfortable sharing? It's like an episode of House
I've done basic S&S for bathroom and kitchen, WM running, TD running. I've been doing tip runs all morning, so not much else has been possible. Most stuff will now get done tomorrow on Mega Monday when my menfolk are out of the house
To do:
Continue laundering
Check uniforms for tomorrow
Wash dishes
Defrost turkey for dinner
Put out some recyclingMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Round.. I'd not seen Babs mentioned for a while so didn't know if they had had a falling out.. glad she is still bringing Pops joy and... companionship
Great news about the Dx being treatable.. that is a huge weight off I am sure.
Christmas is being shved in the loft so I can ut away 9000 loads of washing. All the new-to-us feather duvets are washed.. need a fluff in the dryer but they are clean.. new-to-pixie feather pillows all washed and fluffed.. one happy girl.
Dead pigeon removed from the chimney.. I was cleaing out the fire and it just dropped out when I opened the flue.. explains the smell of rubbish I have been smelling the last few days.. coupled with the dead rat in the loft honking.. and 3 huge litter trays my house is quite.. pungent... I am working on that!!
Sofas vacuumed under and the bottom of the fridge scrubbed out this morning, there was something looking very must like nuclear waste under the crisper drawers.. glowing it was!! Clean it now is! and smelling nice.
DW been on it's first run..
We have the fatest squirrels ever in our garden.. they look like chinchillas lol.
to get done today..Christmas in loft, rebox christmas presents for next year.. yes I KNOW!!!!!rebox woolrestack wool and christmas on the drawers on the landing.fill a binbag with rubbish to stuff in the neighbours bin on Tuesday because both of ours are bursting.complain about my tummy hurting and doing 8million loo runs because I ate 2 slices of toast.. self finflicted, deserves no sympathy.. same as hangovers!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -

well I have cleaned the kitchen…having first cleared it of pans and marmalade (which has gone in the cupboard unlabelled for now as I like to print my labels), tidied the hallway and the LR and cleaned the bathroom. Recycling has gone into bin and spare table in shed. Sheets and pillowcases drying on line, will need bringing in shortly. Towels are next for WM which will be dried in the TD, they won’t dry outside in this weather, too still and cold. I have done some knitting, might be up to shoulders now so almost complete, then i have sleeve edges to knit and then I get to try my hand at using a circular needle for the neck. I suspect there’ll be much you tubing.
DD is back, she’s been up Mam Tor.
ETA great news Round.

flamingo - hemolytic anaemia. His blood cells are attacking each other! But it can be treated with medication. He's back at the hospital on Wednesday for diagnostic tests. Hopefully then they'll give him the meds. Registrar says there's nothing else wrong with P, and when he gets on the meds he'll be well again. 🤞 🤞
asb - glad you had a good day. Xx

MinnieMousesMummy said:Morning all, Another cold but dry day here. I have had a lazy start to the day and watched some recorded tv with a cuppa in bed before getting up.
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Do two loads of laundry
Put the rest of the festive decorations in the storage cupboard
Sort through the filing cabinet and organise the workspace for tomorrow (working from home some of this week)
Replace the batteries in the wildlife tracking camera and put it back outside
Sort through the pile of sweaters in the wardrobe and remove any that I won't wear. Will give some to DD and will look at listing some on Vinted Work in Progress, slight change of plan as would appear when we had a little mouse visitor last month they have been in my wardrobe. Some items have been binned and the others have been bagged up to get washed then a decision wil be made whether to keep, bin or sell.
Pick the item up that I have requested on the free group
Spend an hour checking codes on the smart meter
HHI
Speak to DH regarding decluttering and decorating the master bedroom Work in Progress, looking into prices of skips and then will decide on plan of action. DH is going to check the slates on the roof as there is a small patch of damp in the corner of the room.
Sort clothes, bags, and lunches for tomorrow.
Have some me time before a busy week at work.
Think that is everything that I need to tackle today. Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.
Put the rest of the festive decorations in the storage cupboard
Replace the batteries in the wildlife tracking camera and put it back outside
Wash the sweaters that were removed from the wardrobe. Decide on sweaters whether to keep, bin, or sell.
Spend an hour checking codes on the smart meter
Look at furniture and paper for the bedroom. Get skip prices and decide how best to declutter the master bedroom.
I'm off to watch The Bodyguard and relax before a busy week.8 -
