Morning my lovelies xx
I was awake at 5am and thought about getting up and having a brew, but snuggled down and must have dozed off. Mad dream involving urgent photocopying and lots of stairs and corridors. Not exactly restful. Woke up at 7.30. So I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, taken my meds, completed Wordle, failed at Connections, and supped my first brew.
To Do Today List
Brew 2 and maybe breakfast
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
WUDUPA
Take down Christmas tree and put away
Take down Christmas cards
FUPA towels and tea towels
Recycle Christmas TV magazine
That'll do for starters.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all, It's a very cold but dry start to the day here.
My list for today
Get a shower and get dressed
Feed the animals
Sort Mr T order, scan and put away
Send over shopping information
Find the paperwork for the opticians
Go into town and go to the optician appointment (me and DD both have an appointment today)
Put the rest of the festive decorations back into the shed
Sort through unwanted stuff and put onto the free group. (It's going to the recycling centre next week if nobody wants it)
Sort out and water the plants.
Defrost the inside freezer
Spend an hour checking codes on the smart meter
Move food in from the garage freezer and turn the freezer off (we only use the extra freezer over the festive period).
Speak to DH regarding decluttering and decorating the master bedroom.
Think that is everything that I need to get done today. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.

Morning all, from a soggy south west. But this morning we have sunshine, blue skies and the chill factor - weather wise, not me - that’s a big ask!
So an eventful Friday…much work shenanighans, then the rivers in small town decided that they couldn’t cope with the water pouring off the hills, and small town became its own river. That was one route home cut off. Luckily, the second route was ok, so I got home ok. And because we are so high up, flood water is not the issue for us that it was for the poor people in small town who had to evacuate. Thankfully the water has apparently subsided this morning - or moved on elsewhere.
So today - flying is on the agenda. I have WULTD. DD went back to uni city yesterday, so I will strip her bed. The spare RoD needs a good tidy up / clean, as it has been a sewing room whilst she has been here, and she is not always the tidiest… Boxes of decs on the landing need to go back into the loft. Fridges and freezers need sorting, after DD raided them yesterday. Who knows, I might end up with some space so that I can again play my favourite freezer tetris game.
ASB, fingers crossed that you enjoy the book x
Hugs, sticks and spoon all available xx9 -

You're welcome Valli. I only managed two groups today. And I didn't recognise the other two as groups even when I was given the answers, so I had no chance with them. Like Wordle there's a new one every day.
Coffee and a couple of chapters next. Then I'll crack on

Take down Christmas tree and put away - down and boxed, not taken upstairs yet
Take down Christmas cards ✅
And now I'm having that coffee.
I WILL do HH Admin this afternoon and get that sorted, filed, or put in shedding pile.
Then I have Christmas presents to find homes for....but that may be a job for tomorrow. Took parrots earlier but banging headache is back.

Whilst waiting for OH, I have taken everything out of fridge, cleaned it, all the glass shelves, and put them all back.

Quick update from me:
- feed the animals
- hang the washing out (although it's very cold we are forecast SUN here today!! I won't believe it 'til I see it though!)
- hitch trailer ready for Monday's journey to abbatoir
- list FB and fleabay bits
- get the stove lit again (on the list after spag bol, embers still glowing so won't take long)
- fix chicken shed gate
- affix new light switch in DS' room
- chop kindling
I also need to type up a letter and do a bulk order of toilet roll and washing up liquid. Oh the glamour!9 -
I couldn’t even get one connection completely right - one away each time. Oh well, next time. More luck with Wordle though.
DD’s bedding stripped and washed, I gave her room and the spare room a thorough dust and vacuum clean as well, so the jobs a good ‘un. Still no idea of tonight’s dinner - freezer surprise, I think. Christmas decs are safely back in the loft and 3 boxes of Stuff brought down for sorting. The pyrex dishes are washed and will be used, some of the other bits are cs destined, some have already left the house to recycling or the bin.8
