WAC is me. I've given up on sleep tonight. Thought I'd come and see what's in the WAC cupboard.... not that I'm hungry. Just for something to do really.
Hope you are all sleeping well

hi CoG
Jam making is one of my hobbies, it was always something I was keen to do and I had a jam mentor when I first got married, who both guided me and loaned me her pan etc. I’m now on my second jam pan, both CS purchases. I have a very long wooden spoon which my sister found for me so I remember her now, as i am jamming but yes, it’s not a quick process. i rather suspect my favourite to make is rhubarb and ginger; the fruit is quick to prep and probably least fiddly. As I love to eat it though, i make lots of different ones. Marmalade is the only one I buy fruit for! But yes, it takes time…

Where's @Jazee? Hope you're OK xx
I'm up, made my bed, and supped a brew. I completed Wordle and Connections at 4am. When I eventually got to sleep I had awful dreams and woke up in a tizzy. (My brain confirming that I'm feeling overwhelmed. The over-riding message from my subconscious was Let go and let God. But I'm not good at taking my feet off the ground - I can't swim!!! I've got to have faith.)
P is home. And we finally have a tentative, and plausible, diagnosis. Nothing to do with his heart - turns out that's ok: just normal wear and tear apparently! (So why open heart surgery was ever suggested I do not know!) And it's TREATABLE....that's the magic word. I'm going over this morning to see him and S.
They can all fall out with each other at work this week. Not my problem. Hmmm. I guess that's where letting go comes in 🤔

Morning all,
Also, where is HoneyBear, or have I inadvertently missed her post this year?
Another one in the WAC last night, but jot as traumatic as it was for Round. DH got up early, I stayed in bed and read my book. Then, taking a leaf out of YL’s book, I did a wake up yoga on my new mat, watching the beautiful red sunrise. It is absolutely freezing outside, so wrap up warm, ASB, and have a lovely day x
Plan for today is to come up with a plan. I need to clean the bathroom, not sure what else.
Stay warm all and have a lovely day x7 -
I'm here! Good afternoon all. Happiest of new years to you all.
I've been doing paid stuff over the last couple of weeks, some childcare and very little flying. Yesterday I did shredding (papers collecting since July), sorted out my stash of handbags as the under bed drawer collapsed and cleaned all the upstairs window frames with the exception of one which I'm going to do shortly. I forgot that one because we never open the curtains on it as it's a direct view in to our bedroom for the neighbours.
Firstly though, the fireplace needs a thorough clean now the decorations are down and back in the loft.
Hope ASB is having a lovely day at the seaside. We took Poppet for a walk round a nature reserve this morning but she stopped about half way round and wanted to head back. Guess she's getting a little older now on her short legs.

Morning all, Another cold but dry day here. I have had a lazy start to the day and watched some recorded tv with a cuppa in bed before getting up.
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Do two loads of laundry
Put the rest of the festive decorations in the storage cupboard
Sort through the filing cabinet and organise the workspace for tomorrow (working from home some of this week)
Replace the batteries in the wildlife tracking camera and put it back outside
Sort through the pile of sweaters in the wardrobe and remove any that I won't wear. Will give some to DD and will look at listing some on Vinted Work in Progress, slight change of plan as would appear when we had a little mouse visitor last month they have been in my wardrobe. Some items have been binned and the others have been bagged up to get washed then a decision wil be made whether to keep, bin or sell.
Pick the item up that I have requested on the free group
Spend an hour checking codes on the smart meter
HHI
Speak to DH regarding decluttering and decorating the master bedroom Work in Progress, looking into prices of skips and then will decide on plan of action. DH is going to check the slates on the roof as there is a small patch of damp in the corner of the room.
Sort clothes, bags, and lunches for tomorrow.
Have some me time before a busy week at work.
Think that is everything that I need to tackle today. Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

Fireplace clean, bedroom window clean, flat surfaces in bedroom clean, hoovering done and hard floors mopped. That is it for me today. I'm going to do some knitting before DGD2 arrives for her sleepover.
