@Miro how exciting, congratulations. I did personally, in person propose you and Daphne for inclusion in this week's newsletter because I thought everyone else would enjoy seeing your photos and so I'm thrilled to see you've been recognised and she's getting her 15 minutes of stardom. 

In other news I have succumbed to the temptation of yet more cookbooks and bought Cookie Magic by Kate Shirazi £1 and The Caribbean Pantry Cookbook by Steven Raichlen £2. I bought them because they both had unusual flavour combinations that I hadn't seen before but I'm not sure that's really a good excuse.
I did also buy a hardback copy of Midnight Plus One by Gavin Lyall on the grounds that Katherine Whitehorn obviously saw something in him (they were married) and the book jacket had a rather racy illustration of a Citroen DS for £2.
This one seems to be selling for quite a bit more so maybe I found a bargain Midnight Plus One By Gavin Lyall | Book Attic (interesting write up saying Renaissance instead of Resistance too, surely not the product of AI?).

They were all there when I got up….. half an hour later and they had all flown the nest!  Awwww I’m gonna miss  ‘em.  So pleased I/we got to see the chicks tho.

Anyhoo, the Bedale Car Booty is on today to console me!

They had a blessed start in life @Miro, and now its time for them to make their own way in the world. They can walk within hours of birth and I hope they've found a place of safety.
