Thanks for the heads up on the veg wars @bubbs. I definitely want red cabbage and onions and potatoes are always a good buy. Hopefully Sainsburys will follow suit. 🤞

Yes, I did that at Christmas time. They lasted so well, I wished I'd bought more. I will this time. 👍

Thanks for the heads up on the veg @bubbs.  Any idea when these offers start?  I don't usually go to Aldi in town as it never looks clean but hopefully Lidl or the big SMs will be doing similar.  Having said that we're actually getting a brand new Aldi opening next month which is near the Morrisons I go to quite regularly so will definitely be popping in there once they open.

Anyway, good morning everyone.  It's another lovely day by the looks of it and not planned much but will need to do some shopping later but will probably do that this afternoon while DH is at the dentist which fortunately is already paid for.  It's just a short appointment to have a new crown put on, his temporary one has been fine so hopefully the permanent one will be too.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - fried up potatoes and veg, ham, baked beans - P; S; F
    D - fish and pasta pie - HEA2; P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - milk/cheese for cheese sauce (half each)
Syns - cheese sauce mix 3.5 (assuming I remember to buy it!)

    Have a good day everyone.

I think @bubbs said the offers in Aldi start next week, IIRC Tuesday @joedenise . That's the same day that Sainsbury's always start their offers so I'm hoping they follow suit.

It's drizzly and dull here but I did manage a walk this morning and coffee afterwards.

    Today's plan-
    B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- veggie omelette, ham, pickles (P,S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Won't be posting over the next couple of days - DH has decided he fancies going away again for a couple of days so I've rejigged the menu plan yet again!

    Pass the Kit Kats bubbs.

I am plodding on thanks. My mum is still quite poorly.

Weighed myself earlier & am just in my target bubble so I am pleased by that.
