Well done on your loss @Coxy11. 👏👏👏 You've done well to get back into target and the bonus of not paying! 😁
I do hope they can settle things quickly for your DH so he can draw a line and move forward. Redundancy is bad enough without this hassle. ☹️
I'm sure you're not an old biddy @maddiemay but pleased you were rescued! 🤣0 -

@maman. I have think it was you who recommended or mentioned the quick drying towels. Got a set & have washed them. Also washed an ordinary towel too. Will see what is what tomorrow. My mum is still very poorly but unfortunately as I had two hard falls yesterday I could not drive today.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Yes @beanielou it's me that recommended the towels, hope they work out well for you. I'm really pleased with mine.
Sorry to hear you're still having the falls. It must be hard not to be able to visit your mum when she's poorly.🤗
Cucumber is a great idea to use with the pate @bubbs so no syns added and some Speed. Win/win!! 👍0 -
Can't believe I'm the first to post toady and it's nearly 4.45pm! Have had a good weekend and a great catch up with our friends. Food has definitely not been SW friendly! Even had fish and chips for lunch yesterday as we were at the seaside - thought about ice cream as well but decided it was a bit cold for that although it was bright and sunny.
We didn't need to leave until after lunch today and were going to have a wander around Canterbury but the weather was against us so we just decided to have a ride around on the buses. We went to Dover first, then a bus to Folkestone before coming back to Canterbury. We went straight to Morrisons to pick up a couple of TGTG bags. They were pretty good bags as well. Quite a bit of fruit and veg including a snowball melon - absolutely love these as they are so sweet. Also got some swede and I've got some carrots in the fridge so the plan is some swede and carrot mash to go in the freezer!
Right I'm back on plan tonight with pork chops, mash, swede and carrot mash, green beans and peas.
