Morning all, it's dry but a bit grey this morning but rain forecast later. Pleased to say that the water pump for the motorhome arrived and DH was able to sort that out so we now have water again. So decision made we are going off to Canterbury for the weekend. Can't go until tomorrow as DH needs to pick up a new prescription and it's unlikely to be at the chemist until then although we're going to check later today and if it's there we'll pick it up this afternoon and then we can be off first thing tomorrow rather than having to wait until we can pick it up in the morning. Forecast for the weekend isn't brilliant - it's a bit showery but it's supposed to be dry on Saturday.
I need to take my laptop in to the Apple shop in Canterbury Saturday morning as I've got a bit of a problem with the email settings which I can't seem to sort out. I spoke to them yesterday and said I could bring it in on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and they said Saturday as they have more staff on! He seemed to think it would only take them a few minutes to sort the problem out so hopefully they can do it and it won't cost too much!
Enjoy your birthday meal out tonight @maman which I'm sure you will.
So on to today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette
L - ham salad sandwich
D - cauliflower cheese, chips
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese/milk
HEB - bread
Syns - spread 2; cheese sauce mix 3.5
Have a good day everyone.
PS. It looks like our friends may be joining us for Saturday night - that means it will be a very off plan evening with lots of wine and nibbles!

If anyone is thinking about lamb for Easter Iceland have got whole legs for £10 which is half price; half legs are £8 so definitely a bargain.0

Thanks for the heads up on the meat prices @bubbs and @joedenise. I often buy in joints on Bank Holiday offers to freeze.
Not sure I will be this time. The building work on our extension should be starting in a month so I need to start running down the freezers not filling them! 🤣
I know I'm going to be way above syns this past week but after tonight I'll be on plan.
I've had a SW breakfast (fry up) and LO hash for lunch so not all bad. 👍1 -
I've been AWOL for a couple of days as went to the NEC for a sewing show - diet went to pot, although it could have been a lot worse! WI tomorrow, praying for a maintain.
I'm not going to stick to it next week as I;ve a friend coming on Sunday for 4 nights - haven't seen her for 22 years! Can't wait, but lots of pasties, cream teas and an afternoon tea on the menu. Going to try and minimise the damage and try and do some exercise too.Debt free and Keeping on Track1 -
Have a ball with your friend! I'm sure both of you can't wait.1

Well done @MrsPorridge, have a great time with your friend.
After a wet and miserable day yesterday today is wall to wall sunshine and blue skies. It would have been a lovely day for a little trip out somewhere, but claimed a mountain of brownie points by suggesting that OH goes out cycling while it is nice (polishes halo).
Bad couple of days with food, but pulled up the bra straps today and all going well so far, intend throwing together a crustless quiche with big salad for later and sardines on toast to eat soon for lunch. Yogurt fermenting away in the Ninja, but will have to Syn it as an experiment to see is it will keep me full for longer with my mountain of F and speed fruit.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
STS isn't bad after your meal with the girls @MrsPorridge. Enjoy your time with your friend but you don't have to forget SW altogether. When you're out having all the local specialities you could have mainly on plan meals especially breakfasts and any roast dinners.
That sounds like a great plan to send your DH off cycling while you have SW food @maddiemay. 😇👍🏼
Hopefully @Longwalker will be back soon and can advise on the HM yogurt. I know she makes loads. If she was banned for the usual 14 days then (provided she's not p'd off with mse) then she should be able to post.
I had a lovely meal last night. I wasn't as greedy as I can be in that restaurant but would have been way over syns.
But a line is drawn, I've done my meal plan and will shop later. I'm hoping for a good week and also mse as I've got very little to buy other than fresh stuff.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (S)
L- mackerel salad (P,S), lentil and veg soup (P,S)
D- sausage, mash, peas, LO gravy (F,S), carrots, onions (S)
Syns- Aldi sausages 1, weekend wine😁0 -
