  • Primula used to taste rank. Is it better now? And is it low in syns or something as I've seen a few of you mention it.

I'm back - my friend went home this morning.  I tried to limit the damage as much as I could and had SW friendly meals when I was cooking - I also had overnight oats for breakfast and friend and DH had muffins with butter and jam!  I did have a pasty, a cream tea and an afternoon tea.  Fingers crossed that at tomorrow's WI it's not too bad, but at least I know what's caused it.

Will be making sure that I stick to it this week.

Sounds like you had a good time MrsP. Maybe your WI won't be too bad.
My colleague has just come back from 2 weeks' holiday in India, eating everything. Put on 1 lb! I managed 1.5 lb with one meal out!
Have three meals out this weekend so not too hopeful for next week. But that's Ramadhan for you. You get invited, you go!

Evening all, it's very quiet on here over the last few days while I've not been posting!!!!

Glad you've enjoyed your week @MrsPorridge; as you say if you have a gain you'll know where it's from.  Draw the line and move on.

Enjoy your three meals out this weekend @NornIronRose.  Can understand why you'd want to go out when you're invited!  We've been eating out again over the last few days - it really doesn't help with weight loss!

Right we're back home now and I'm sticking to plan until next WI on Wednesday morning and hopefully can manage to lose a bit!  We're off again Thursday or Friday for the long weekend so will be off plan part of that time as we're usually out at lunchtime and there's no way I can eat jacket potatoes everyday!

Currently cooking a fish pie - it's in the air fryer to be browned so shouldn't be too long now before we can eat it.  We had a big fry up for breakfast and didn't fancy any lunch so definitely getting hungry now!

Hope everyone has had a good day.

It's strange @joedenise, that the thread goes quiet. We need you to start us off! 🤣

We're off early tomorrow to a family wedding and staying overnight so food will be whatever I'm given. Breakfast should be OK though.

When I get back I'll get back on plan but have a few meals out planned. I think it's about 2 weeks to go to WI.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- chicken supreme (P, S), potato cubes (F), veg (S)
    Syns - mayo 1, weekend wine 😁
