Well done on your STS @MrsPorridge. You were lucky! 🤣 Straight back on plan is definitely the way forward. 👍

We're back from the wedding. Probably best to just draw a line under yesterday's food (canapés, bread, pastry ☹️) and start again.

We did have a hotel breakfast today and I think the only syns were in 1 hash brown and any oil in cooking so not too bad. Skipped lunch and we're having a syn free meatballs in tomato sauce tonight.

My mother would be horrified that we aren't having a Sunday roast but I'm just wondering how I manage without my leftovers!! 🤣🤣

Well done on your half pound @bubbs. 👏👏👏 You shouldn't be disappointed. You're right that even maintaining at a new, lower target weight would be a big ask.

It's hard enough maintaining at my original target! 🤣

Morning all ✋, ended up staying at my friends so didn’t make class on Saturday. I know from clean jeans this morning and the slight muffin top 🙈 that I’ve gained and need to get a grip.  Away from Wednesday so will be good when I can but will definitely be tackling it properly when I get back.

I normally live in jeans and trousers and the occasional summer dress but have bought a few things in the sales that I always admire but never wear to change that up. Everything fits, some too snugly, but will look so much better if I loose a bit.

Still to read back but hope you’re all well!  We have snow 😳 forecast for tonight/tomorrow. Hope it doesn’t come to anything for the drive to the airport.

Morning all, it's a dry blowy day today so decided to get the bedding done today so that it can be lined dried.  Hadn't planned on doing it until probably Wednesday but forecast was definitely better for today.  There was also enough towels and tea towels to make up another load so done that too.  All blowing nicely on the line now.  Should probably be dry by lunchtime or just after.

Well done on your STS @MrsPorridge (sorry I missed it yesterday!) and on your half lb @bubbs.  Definitely don't be disappointed with that especially as you are now bang on your new target weight - that's brilliant.  I just wish I could get back into target range never mind bang on target!  Having said that my clean trousers definitely feel a little more comfortable this morning than they did a couple of weeks ago so hopefully when I weigh on Wednesday morning there will be a small loss 🤞🏻.

I'm sure you won't have a problem getting back on plan @maman and shifting whatever weight has gone on due to the beige food at the wedding!  I always find hotel breakfasts easy to fit into the plan as well or even if we just eat out which we did on Friday before we came home as DH wanted more than an egg and bacon sandwich!  He went for a full English but I was a bit more picky and chose a smaller fry up without sausages although I did choose to have a piece of black pudding as would rather have those syns!

    Today's plan:

B - bacon sandwich (was supposed to be with mushrooms but DH cooked and conveniently forgot them as he's not keen!)
L - sweet chilli noodles with chopped veg
D - LO duck, HM chips, beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3; may have a cereal bar later for another 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Snow @Jellybaby!😮

That being said, we drove through 4 counties and what seemed like 4 seasons on Saturday on the way to the wedding. When we arrived at the church, the ground was white as they'd had terrific hailstorms. Fortunately, the sun came out after the ceremony.👍🏼

You can't have too much of a gain if you're still getting into your jeans even if they are a bit tight. Just keep being good when you can until you've got the time to get back on plan. Have a great  holiday. IIRC you're going to Austria to see your brother. I can't keep up! 🤣

Weather forecast was wrong as usual this morning @joedenise. It said rain until 11 o'clock so I delayed getting washing out. It didn't rain but things are blowing nicely so should be OK. I changed the bedding and will wash that  tomorrow.🤞🏼

I tend to skip sausages when we're out too. DH said they were very meaty, above standard for catering sausages but I didn't risk it. I had egg, beans, loads of lovely mushrooms, bacon, wholemeal toast and just the one hash brown. I had a bowl of red fruits as well so got some extra Speed in.

Not decide what to have with fish tonight. Probably chips but maybe cubes or even mash.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA  milk for drinks, 2 eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F), prawns in Marie Rose sauce (P), salad (S)
D- haddock (P), potatoes (F), roast veg, green stuff (S)
    Syns- LTL mayo 2

Hope you feel better soon @bubbs. I know it's easier said than done to get a GP appointment but do you need an antibiotic?🤔

Back to leftovers for lunch today.😋 I did plenty of extra veg last night deliberately including sweet potato mash which was very tasty and very pretty! 🤣

Checked my calendar this morning and it's just a week on Thursday to next WI.😲 I think it's going to take a while to get back into range. I don't feel hugely fat but probably a few pounds over and having a meal out tomorrow and the same planned  in the next couple of weeks won't help. I could cut back on weekend syns to compensate but I think I'll just make wise choices and hope for the best. 🤞🏼

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- egg (P),  mash (F), roast veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0

@Jellybaby I hope the snow passes you by (unless you like snow!)
@bubbs fingers crossed you feel better soon. @maman OH always puts S Potato in our mash now, I got him doing it now and then because I couldn't tolerate the texture of mash, can't really eat them any other way either they just make me gag when at the back of my mouth, all very odd for a country kid whose family ate loads of them.

Lovely sunny day here yesterday, but so cold, today is milder and has been dry with decent sunny spells.  Walked 2.5 miles today, 4.1 yesterday and scales showed a small (but very acceptable) loss this morning, dreaded WI tonight, M has already been rounding us up, she is really great, lots of fun and so kind and helpful to those struggling or with big worries affecting their mood and eating patterns.

P.S. missed to post this earlier, been to WI, a gain of 2lb, but still in target, ideally would like to lose 1/2 of this for next week.

Glad you're still in target @maddiemay. That's the most important thing. 🤞for a loss next week.

I know what you mean about the texture of sweet potato mash Butternut squash works well too and that has the added bonus of being Speed. 👍
