Oddly enough i don't like red cabbage as a veg, maybe i need to try it again.
I bought loads of potatoes, onions, swede, 4 bags carrots, 2 beans, 2 broc , 2 parsnips🤣 i filled my salad draw with parsnips, carrots, beans, broc and the cauli, the potatoes i left 2 bags here and 1 onions. The rest i emptied out into 1 bag for potatoes and swede, another bag for the carrots and took them up to the work storage unit as always up and down there and they will keep better there than here, dh said today what are these ding here? 🤣i said they were cheap and i want to keep them as long as possible 🤣🤣

No storage unit here @bubbs. 🤣I bought carrots, swede, parsnips and loads of potatoes. No onions left but I'll try tomorrow when I'm out. I've put the potatoes in big paper bags in the dark so they should be fine.

You must have a really big salad drawer!

Morning all, weather is looking pretty grey this morning but tomorrow's forecast is looking brighter so will do my other load of washing then.

I only bought potatoes and onions plus a cabbage in the veg wars, a couple of bags of each.  Will probably get another bag of each next week if there's any left.  Haven't bought loads of veg as no freezer space for making swede and carrot mash or braised red cabbage.  With going away in 3 weeks time as well seemed a bit pointless.  What I've got should keep us going for a while!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles
    D - beef stew, mash

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; couple of G&Ts later 6

    Have a good day everyone.

It's been a glorious day here @joedenise, really warm and sunny.
    🌞

It was a shame as DD1 and I had planned to go to Lymington but she's got a filthy cold so we put it off. ☹️

I went to Home Bargains and stocked up on beetroot as it's a good price there, IIRC 89p for a large jar. It's sliced which isn't my favourite but quite acceptable.

Keema curry in the SC was very successful. We had 2 portions for dinner last night, 2 in the freezer and 1 for my lunch. I didn't bother with peas today but did them separately last night as they keep their colour better.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), keema curry (P, S), pickled cabbage (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), mushrooms, tomatoes, red onions, broccoli (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😋
