@maman and @joedenise - thank you, I had not really realised that this could be done, I will see what tomorrow's WI brings and probably do it.
@joedenise pleased that you are home and can have lots of good things to eat. (BTW sedation every time for me).
@MrsPorridge today is a new day and your "extras to plan" do sound rather yummy.
@bubbs your meals looked amazing as always.
I had a good SW day yesterday, and so far today, not sure about evening meal as OH gone cycling and whilst he will be hungry on return he doesn't usually want a big meal so the proposed Liver, veg etc. may go back a day or so.
I hope that all the mums had a good day, not a mum myself (choice) and no dear mum or MIL around any more, my DM loved it and with 5 offspring was always stacked out with flowers, plants and chocolates. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Afternoon all, another horrible, grey day today. Went shopping this morning and have bought some more fruit as only had one orange, a few apples and a few bits of melon left which of course wouldn't last long!
Yesterday went completely to pot after I posted yesterday as had a few drinks and by the time it got to dinner time DH said I don't fancy the roast beef I just want some cheese and crackers so that's what we had. So today's plan:
B - porridge, fruit - HEB; S; F
L - beef in gravy, mash, carrot and swede mash, green beans and peas - Pl S; F; 1
D - HM doner kebab, chips, salad - S; F; syns?
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - gravy 1; 10% lamb mince ?
Can someone look up 10% lamb mince for the syns for me please?
Thanks. Enjoy the rest of your day.
PS. I've had a PM from LW. She's now called Weekendsaway and will be posting in a few days time after she's posted elsewhere.0 -

Good to see you getting back to normal @joedenise. 😁
That's not bad for lamb mince, I'd have expected it to be more.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB muffin, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
L- cold meat (P), 1 potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- haddock (P), SW chips (F), carrots, spicy cauliflower, green stuff, mushrooms (S)
Syns - 00 -
Great news Denise. Aren't we so blessed in this country to have everything we could possibly desire to eat. And you get to eat all the veg again!!!
First day of Ramadhan for me. 1 down, 29 to go. Had breakfast at 4.30. Made a type of cheesecake thing with weetabix and yoghurt on the bottom, toffee fat free yog on top then date caramel on top of that.
Just had my usual couscous with loads of veg when I broke my fast. Lots to drink will be the plan then my breakfast cheesecake thing again in the morning.
The date caramel is amazing btw if you need a really sweet dessert hit. Whizz up dates softened in a bit of boiling water. You can add vanilla or cinnamon but I forgot. Make it as runny as you like as a pouring sauce, or thicker to stick a spoonful into porridge.0 -
Oh, got a dilemma. Meant to weigh in on Wednesday but will be away. Only option is Friday morning I think.
Had dinner out with dd1 on Saturday. Had a chicken wrap with sauce, caramelised onions and a few chips in it. Really delish and didn't go for dessert afterwards. Snacked on 3 syn crisps and fruit all day.
Still made me nervous about WI this week after my 1.5 lb gain last week.
If I don't just turn up then I just lose that week, is that correct?
When I'm away with work I will be having whatever takeaway food and breakfast that I can find up there.
Sorry, upshot is, do I WI or just skip a week?0 -
I'd try and go on Friday if you can @NornironRose. It'll help keep you on track whatever the outcome. I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question about what happens if you don't. We have so many groups in my area I've always been able to find one.
Good that the meals you are able to have during your fast are delicious. 😋 I'd try to get plenty of protein in to keep you going.
Just been watching the Panorama programme on park homes @bubbs including one near you. There seem to be lots of very dodgy site owners out there telling people they can stay all year round. ☹️0
