    Hi all,
Still here! A 1lb loss at group this morning. I stayed and did Pay and IT for both - 3.5 hours is a long time, so don't want to be doing that every week. Felt bad last week as the consultant had to put away all the tables by herself. Amazing how people wash up their mugs and leave them on the draining board - who do they think puts them away?!
I've done the food shop for the week ahead. Will again try to take more interesting lunches - poke bowl, possibly some mackerel if I can make sure it doesn't pong the work fridge out.
DH has yet heard back from work, so still employed.....
Well done for the loss @MrsPorridge x
Hope you manage to get away in the van @joedenise - will be good to have a break x

Doesn't look like we'll get away mid week now!  DH put some water in the van ready for getting away and found that the pump is running but not actually pumping the water to the taps so has had to order a new pump and that won't be coming until Wednesday/Thursday so if he can get it fitted then hopefully we'll make it for the weekend 🤞.

@Coxy11 - at least your DH still has a job so money coming in!  Any idea when the redundancy is going to happen?  Hope he isn't still moody and taking it out on you.

Good news on the loss @MrsPorridge. @Coxy11 that was indeed a long session at SW, I too hope that your DH sees some gain from all the uncertainty in that it is still money coming in and that you are not still the recipient of his frustration. @maman are you still dancing? I too have been enjoying the dry spell and windy conditions to get through some of the laundry. @joedenise rotten luck about the water pump - OH cleaned the water containers, flushed through the system and tried the heating a few days ago.  We are booked to take the van to S. Yorks to meet up with family at the end of the month, but hoping to get 3 nights away on a shakedown visit before then, just over the border into Wales and only 1 hour away.

Struggling with SW -diet restrictions (rather like @joedenise) mean extra syns and a growing conviction that I set my target slightly too low for comfort - only looking at 2lbs so cannot reset and I really do not want to have to keep paying, I am sure I could manage without the App, but it is useful. 3 days left to try and drop 1-1.5 lbs.  When I am in pain or fatigued my willpower takes quite a knock.

Good news on your loss Coxy. Hope hubby keeps his job for the foreseeable.
Hope you manage to get away at some stage Denise.
I've been in London all day. Parkrun this morning and brought healthy snacks with me to London. Just waiting to meet dd1 for a bite to eat. In East London so should be plenty of decent grilled chicken places.

Why don't you just call target now?  Just because you set it a bit lower doesn't mean you have to stick with that figure.  I actually managed to increase mine (although that was on Dr's orders as she thought my body wouldn't cope with the weight I was!).

Well done on your loss @Coxy11. 👏👏👏 You've done so well to stick with it through all that's been going on with DH. Can't believe it's still not settled. What are they playing at? ☹️

Shame that the van isn't ready for you to get away @joedenise. You need a break. 🤗

If you did lose the app @maddiemay, we'd always give you syn values on here. But you seem to enjoy your group so I'd decide if I were you if you're happy enough with your current weight to call target.

Yes, still dancing anything between 1 and 3 times a week. I should have been out tonight but too much of a rush after football. DD2 came over this morning but arrived so late that we dashed off to the match as soon as she left. Just grabbed a banana to eat with the half Crunchie! 🤣

All you can do @MrsPorridge is draw the line after the calzone. Life just gets in the way but keep plodding. It's only one meal.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB muffin, HEA milk for drinks, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
    L banana! (F)
    D- chicken jambalaya (P, S, F)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 😁

Morning all, the weather is horrible again today!  It's been raining all night and certainly looks as though we've got more to comel

Today's the day of my procedure but at least I can have something to eat before I have to go to the hospital - it's nearly an hour away so may even to buy more petrol.  We have to use my car because the hospital is on the edge of the ULEZ zone and DH's car is a diesel - no way are we paying £12.50 for a more comfortable car!

Still feeling a bit P'd off with this no fibre diet - really hope that I can start having some fibre again now as my bowels are definitely objecting!!!

Assuming I can have some fibre the plan is:

    B - cheese omelette
    L - sausage sandwich (hopefully)
D - roast beef in gravy (from freezer); mash; vegetables (hopefully).

Will hopefully be able to have some green beans and peas; if not then I'll buy some carrots because I can have those - in fact saying that I think I'll get a swede and carrot mash out of the freezer now.

That's it from me.  Have a good day everyone - not looking forward to mine funnily enough!!!!

  • Aw Denise. I pray that it goes smoothly for you. It'll be done before you know it and you'll be back to eating proper food.

    Afternoon all!!

Coxy well done, i was asked to stop and do pay at session 2 as well as 1  but couldn't as had arranged to go over Mum's straight from group, i would have been at group nearly 4 hrs!

Well i had a gain again, dunno why 1.5 lb but still in target, but was !!!!!! off and had half a bar of chocolate last night 🤣🤣

Denise i hope your procedure has gone well and you can have some veg 🤞🤞

I had ham and cheese spread egg wraps, tomato , satsuma and pear.

I had some lamb in the freezer i wanted to use up, so i have some of that with veg and going to do yorkies, not had them since before shutdown. Dh does not like lamb so i cut a small bit of a joint for him.

Happy Mother's day to all you Mum's 😍

Thanks @bubbs. DD1 has just left, so lots of flowers from her and DD2 yesterday. 🥰

Sorry about the gain. It's impossible to know why you get gains some weeks and brilliant losses on others as you rarely go off plan. 🤔☹️

Hope all has gone well for you @joedenise

I've taken the last portions of swede and carrot mash and red cabbage from the freezer today so more batch cooking needed there.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB muffin, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L - JP (F), chilli (P, S), cottage cheese (P), leaves and pickles (S)
D- roast pork (P), roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns - gravy 4, weekend wine 😁
