My confit duck legs are actually vac packed ones rather than the tinned ones although I've bought those as well in the past. I'm planning on doing them on a rack to get rid of some of the fat. Still not decided what potatoes I'm going to do but probably just some mash. I'll also do a selection of green veg.
Glad the keema curry came out well. I tend to add extra veg too, mainly to stretch it a bit further and also just because it tastes so much nicer!
I'm having a procedure next week which means I've got to stop eating fibre for 3 days before it and then can't introduce things like wholemeal bread, weetabix etc for about 3 weeks after. I also have to peel fruit as not to have skin; jacket potatoes I can't eat the skins. Also can't have any beans and pulses. My diet is going to be absolutely non SW friendly for the next 4-5 weeks!!! This of course means I've got to completely rewrite my March menu plan and also watch what I'm eating the beginning of April!

That'll be tough @joedenise but I'm sure you'll do your best to stay as close to plan as you can. It was probably best to stop going to group for a while, all things considered. Do you think you'll go back? 🤔0

@maman I still haven't made a decision but if I do I doubt it will be before my French holidays so end June/early July. Obviously I'm going to do my best to get as near as possible to plan but obviously I've got to follow medical advice. Glad I can have my confit duck legs today as fatty meat is another thing I can't have!!!! Just as well I haven't got any more in the freezer.

@bubbs well done what a fantastic loss. @SingleSue so sorry to hear about the way the consultant treated you and your son.
Today, i made up 6 portions of overnight oats and 6 jellies with berries in. For our late lunch/early dinner we had a chicken traybake from the SW app and two portions of that have now gone in the freezer too.
B fry up
L chicken traybake with green beans
D some soup if we feel hungry later
Snacks banana, sugar free jelly with berries and yoghurt

Well done on preparing ahead @MrsPorridge. You'll be well on course for another loss this week. 👍0

SingleSue your consultant sounds terrible. Similar maybe to my first one who ended up being told her group was closing. New consultant is worlds apart from her and like a breath of fresh air. Don't blame you for leaving.
Congrats on the new abode though. That's a real positive thing for you I'm sure.
I made a pot of lentil, carrot and sweet potato soup (free) today. Had a bowl with wholmeal croutons (half hexa).
Also did a portion of orange jelly with fruit in and a quark choc mixture of sorts.
Having an early night as DD2 not working late tonight (I've been up for work early each day and picking her up around 11 each night). Going to grab a few snacks and head off to bed with hot water bottle and kitties.0 -

Morning all, still to read back and catch up but hope you’re all well.
I jumped on the scales at my mums last night and ‘think’ I’ve gained 2 pounds which if correct I’m absolutely delighted with! The last few weeks have been a blur of activity between retiring, big, birthday, holiday and eating out - not to mention the alcohol🤣
I’m out most days this week and in two weeks off to my brothers in Austria for two weeks. I’m thinking I may just leave class until I come back and then start afresh and also hope it’s still around this stone and a half to target which I could maybe achieve over the summer. I’d still post here to keep me on track though. Trying to get to another class is a bit of a faff and I already know a couple of consultants I wouldn’t want to go to! Will have a think about it.0
