Morning all, very damp, cold and windy today.  Not actually raining although some is forecast.  I decided to make a start on washing the bedding as didn't want to leave it until the next forecast dry day which is now next Thursday!  Have hung the duvet cover and pillow cases on the airer.  Hopefully they'll be dry by the morning and I can get the sheet and other pillow cases washed then and hung over the airer to dry.  I hate all this wet weather!

I wonder who @Longwalker has upset to get herself banned.  Certainly nothing she's put on this thread.  She is a great writer.

Well done @bubbs - that's the 3.5lb you put on for no reason last week so assume you are still in target.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with home smoked bacon - P; S; F
    L - ham salad sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1
    D - beef stew, mash - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

    Have a good day everyone.

Fantastic @bubbs. You smashed it! 👏👏👏 What a good start to being back home and in control of your meals. Delighted for you. 😁

Hopefully it will be a short ban for @Longwalker and she'll be back soon. She's off to Edinburgh today IIRC so not thinking about MSE.

I was banned myself a while back and I must say it left a very nasty taste towards mse . There's no appeal and I know I'd done nothing wrong. They just removed a thread and banned everyone who'd posted on it. Fortunately I had lots of positive support from my regular threads otherwise I probably would have left permanently.

Thanks for letting us know @SingleSue. How are you doing? 🤔

    Raining here too @joedenise. ☹️ For a change! 🤣

I'm going to make a keema curry tonight. I found a recipe that I have all the ingredients for so 🤞we'll enjoy it. Also going to batch cook HB chilli but make a veggie version.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L - JP (F), tuna (S), leaves, spring onions, pickles (S)
    D- keema curry (P, S, F), rice (F)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 🍷

I like a keema curry although can be a bit mild when you follow a recipe.  I tend to add a bit more curry powder than it says but really depends on how hot you like your curry!  I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway.

Thanks @joedenise. I'm going to make it now and then taste it later and adjust as necessary. 🤔

Made a mistake with my menu plan earlier!  I thought I'd got a beef stew out of the freezer but it was actually a beef curry!  Fortunately I'd made a note on the label that it needed more curry powder so added about a Desertspoonful and it made all the difference.  We had it with basmati/wild rice mix.  Very tasty it was too.

    Enjoy your keema @maman.

Big flakes of snow here for an hour or so early this morning, ground too wet for it to be a nuisance, the rest of the day had been wet/damp/grey and horrid. Not doing too well on the plan today, will add up later and hope I haven't gone too high on the Syns.
Beef stew in the SC to have with mash and varied selection of veg in a while. Athletics to watch on TV, curtains drawn, lights and heating doing their thing.
Well done @bubbs and pleased you are back home. Sorry to read about @Longwalker, hope she is back on the boards soon and the weather is kind to her on her holiday.
