Morning all, another bright and a bit breezy day so another load of washing on the go and will get out on the line before I go into town for my waxing appointment and to do a bit of shopping, don't need much so shouldn't be too long.

I'm still out of target @maddiemay but hopefully I can lose that final 1.5lb which has been bugging me for the last 3-4 weeks!

Great loss @NornIronRose and a plan for reaching target which I think always helps.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - P; HEA2
    L - creamy garlic mushrooms, toast - HEB; S; 3
    D - Mediterranean fish roast - P; S; F; 0.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
Syns - Primula Light (will use equivalent of HEA between DH and I) 3; olives 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Still here....lost part of my tooth this week (a front one too) so had to have an emergency filling (£99!!!) and now banned from biting down on anything hard....ever again....feel ancient.

DH not great. Work messing him around and ducking and diving over the 'process' so he's been challenging to live with and I'm afraid I've eaten some naughty stuff, apart from evening meals when it's SW all the way. Bought a veg sushi box today which was 1.5 syns but also stuffed in a mega bag of Quavers for 9!

My weekend meet up with ex-boss is cancelled as she forgot (no PA to remind her!) and is off to France. This means I can stay to group which is probably the kick up the backside I'm yearning.

Sorry for lack of posting and hope everyone's doing okay? @bubbs - one more sleep yay! @joedenise - hope DH's eye heals soon x Leftover wine @maman?? Nope sorry, don't understand that oxymoron! Beautiful kitty photos - thank you for sharing - feeling the pet therapy already xx

@NornIronRose, yep Im a wee pocket rocket :) The name is because Im always ruddy walking :)  Plus Im gearing up to do that 26miler this summer :)

Oh your kitten is so cute. Our Timmy was cute as a kitten. Now hes a lean mean killing machine and bullies Buddy Lol. Seriously hes an excellent mouser

Congratulations on your loss, not just this week but total  - AMAZING!!! And to think back you thought you were never going to do it xxx

@Mrsporridge , fingers crossed for tomorrow. Wise not buying the teacakes anymore. Mum keeps getting them for Mr L and unfortunately they jump out of the box and unwrap themselves and disappear down my neck if I even dare breathe beside them  - and I dont even like them !! lol.

@joedenise , glad to hear nothing serious with DH eye. But its scary when something doesn't look or feel right. I think Ive got your "doing the washing bug" nothing in the laundry bin, and Ill just have work clothes and towels to do on Saturday . Done the bed this morning as Mr L was off and he got it out on the line - and back in before the rain came on :)

Yay @bubbs  - home in the morning. At last. Bet its been a loooong month

@coxy11 , bummer with the tooth. Sorry to hear your DH is being messed about. Like if redundancy isnt stressful enough, no wonder you are finding treats.

@maddiemay , top of target, not over. You are doing the right thing by planning ahead

So Ive kind of been good. Yesterday was so boring in work that a slice of fresh cream Swiss roll that was for the bin went down, then I had to sample a tray bake ( seriously) and that triggered me, so when the said tray bakes were deemed for the bin, I rescued one of those as well - OOPs

However I pulled it back by not having any dinner - wasnt hungry anyways

Today I was a star and didnt pick at anything and then had a HM chicken schnitzel with salad and air fried potatoes  and Im determined to hold it together tomorrow for Saturdays weigh in. Ive 5% mince in so will do cottage pie and beans rather then the usual chippy tea I make for those two - no temptation

My friend wasnt walking tonight and we missed last night, so I jumped on the bike and went for a cycle. Really enjoyed it only I froze the fingers clean off - its ruddy baltic out there

Morning all, bet you're glad it's Friday and back home day today @bubbs!  It's been a nightmare month for you this time - far more problems than usual.

We did get the rain from just after lunch by which time most of the washing was almost dry so brought it in and hung it on the airer so just need to fold and put that away this morning - I think everything should have dried overnight although there's a couple of thick bits that may need a bit longer.  Only washing left to do is the bedding but no chance of getting that out on the line until probably Tuesday judging by the forecast!  By then of course the bin will be full of clothes as well so it will be a big washing day with probably 3 or even 4 loads!

Sorry about your tooth @Coxy11 but at least you managed to get an appointment to get it sorted.  My front tooth got broken diagonally in half when I was 11 so I've had a crown on it since then.  The one I've got now has been on for over 20 years!  My dentist has told me that when it comes off he doesn't think he'll be able to fit a new one and I'll have to have a false tooth instead!  I really don't want that if I can help it so doing my best to hang on to it!

It's bad the your DH is getting mucked about as well @Coxy11 - does that mean that he didn't finish when he thought he was going to finish and so he's still working?  It's not good whatever is happening.

Haven't had a chicken schnitzel for a long time @longwalker and I really like them.  Really must think about adding that to the menu plan at some point and it's one of those things that you actually make SW friendly - in fact I remember years ago there was actually a recipe in one of the magazines for it.

Got a message from the GP yesterday I need to have yet another repeat blood test done - that'll be 3 in as many weeks!  No idea what is going on but need to go an pick up a form and go to the hospital to get that done.  Will pop in Lidl on the way as that's in the same town and I've got a free bakery item to pick up and also got a pain au chocolate in the spin to win thing they do and today's the last day to pick them up.  Will check my cupboards and see if there is anything else I need to add to my shopping list.

    Right then, today's plan:

    B - weetabix, milk, blueberries, grapes - part HEA2; HEB; S; F
    L - stuffed peppers - P; S; F; part HEA2
    D - spicy butternut squash traybake - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - milk/cheese
    HEB - weetabix
Syns - none planned but may have a couple of G&T tonight

    Have a good day everyone.

It's a specially good one for you @bubbs as you'll be back in your own home at last. 👍

Sorry to hear about your tooth @Coxy11. I'm sure you could do without the hassle and the extra expense on top of DH's problems. ☹️

It rained all day in London yesterday until after dinner. We had a super time despite that, really enjoyed the show and fitted in a visit to the National Portrait Gallery too. I enjoyed my off plan syns, bread, wine, crisps and chips. But that was yesterday and today will be back to it until the next time. 🤣

SW friendly porridge and fruit for breakfast. I need to do my meal plan and shop so will post later.

Thanks for telling me about the Wibble jelly. It's not bad at all! Made up a tub if it with lots of fruit. Used up a tin of peaches in it but still only makes the whole thing 8.5 syns.

Out with friends for food this evening. Going to a fusion place so hopefully will find something SW friendly. Will avoid dessert (she says lol) knowing that I can come home to my jelly with some squirty cream.
Forcing myself to go out for a 10k run hopefully soon, so this evening will feel less guilty. Did 7k on Wednesday and found it a bit tough because of the current joint pains so want to push it a bit. A whole group of us are planning to do The Big Half (half marathon) in September and I really want to be a good bit lighter by then and smash my time.

Have a good day all and stay safe and dry.

Oh, got a message from my SW consultant that I got Slimmer of the Week for the first time! Yay.
