Afternoon all, been a bit of a stressful day!  DH's eye didn't seem too good this morning after his op yesterday so after phoning the hospital and waiting for them to get back to him they said could we get down there by 12 noon!  This was at 10 o'clock - on a good day it takes at least an hour and a half and more often than not it will be nearer 2 hours so he said we can try!  Just finished getting ready and phone rings again and it's the hospital again saying leave it until 2pm!  So decided to leave about 11.30ish and have lunch at the hospital and would also give us plenty of time to get there.  Fortunately it's nothing to worry about and told that it should clear up over the next few days (there's water behind the cornea so it just looks very cloudy!).

Enjoy your off plan days @maman.  I'm sure you'll manage to get back into range by next WI.

I'm definitely not going back to SW for a while so will just be weighing at home and keeping track on here.  I'm currently just under 1.5lb over target - I just can't seem to shift it but will keep plodding!  Got the message on the website yesterday to tell me I'll be losing access next week so may need to ask for syn values if I buy anything new!

So today's plan looks like this:

    B - scrambled eggs, toast - HEB; P
L - egg and ham salad - P; S (only SW friendly food there!)
    D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5

Hope everyone is having a good day.
  • Glad that it turned out to be ok for dh. Sounds stressful though.

  • This is our new kitty. He's 5 months now and a soppy dopey long leggedy thing. Love him to bits.

I'm going to have to stop buying them - I ended up having two today!  If you do buy them then go to Lidls they are £1.60 for 10, they were £2.15 in Sainsbogs!

I've still got some of the Ben's sweet and sour sauce from when I stocked up on offer in Sainsburys @bubbs. Dread to think what it costs now. ☹️

From Google it seems that Hartleys Jelly is both vegan, vegetarian and sugar free @NornironRose. 🤔
