DH has had his op and we are are now back home.  There's some wraps that need using so I'm going to do a calzone sort of things with them using up some of the pepper, mushrooms and onions and topping with cheese before folding and cooking them in the air fryer - hopefully that will work.  I'll nuke the pepper and onions first to soften them before adding them to the wrap.

That will use an HEA for the cheese plus I think 9 for the wrap, eek!  Still it's within syns for the week.

  • Glad to hear all went well for hubby @joedenise

    Aye Im plodding :)

But stayed on plan again today. Didnt need to go anywhere today, which which was handy as it was baltic and wet out there today. Got all the washing done, none of its urgent to its on the airer in front of the hall rad, will be dry by tomorrow. ironed what I had lying about, tidied up and basically spent the day in my nightie, just pulling on leggings and a coat to walk Buddy . I kind of ran a mile this morning, with stops and starts for Buddy to sniff and wee. Rather chuffed with that tbh. Walked the mile back though mind :)

So food wise, I had a wee skinny bar thing mid morning, think its 2 for a HEB, but one was enough. Lunch was a packet of pasta and sauce, which I had bought as everyone in group have been making crustless quiches with it and I thought Id give it a go, only I was cold ( couldn't be bothered to get a bucket of coal ) and wanted something hot, so it was that - quick, easy, 1/2 a syn - and bloody revolting. So glad I didnt waste half a dozen eggs on it !! And dinner was HM Chinese only I cheated and used a sachet of sauce which was 8 syns but there was 4 portions so Im saying 2. Loads of veg in it, actually it was mostly veg, cleaned out the veg drawer of odds and sods. And I had just one drink - 3 syns. So not perfect , no where near - but Im slowly getting motivated again:blush:

So work tomorrow, easier for me to keep to a time table and eat when hungry. Ive three shirts sat here all pressed and folded to go back, Ive dropped a size in them :) . Im actually looking smart in work now the shirt is the right size. Just need to do something about the apron, one size does not fit all, not when you are just over 5 foot. Seriously I look like a bag of spuds tied in the middle in it

Good that the first op is out of the way @joedenise. 👍

    3 sleeps and counting @bubbs. 😁

    You're doing really well @MrsPorridge. 🤞for Friday.

Just do your best, enjoy your break in Edinburgh and then try to draw a line @Longw@longwalks1

I've had a really lazy day. I got really stuck into a book and the afternoon just flew away. Freezer meal and then out this evening.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L - chicken (P), veg and pickles (S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

  • Longwalker you're just over 5 ft??? In my mind you were like your name. I pictured you about 5'10" or something!
Sounds as if you really did struggle last week but you aren't just spiralling and giving up. I really admire that you manage to get back on plan.

Denise I'm happy for you and dh that he's had his op and is home. Hope he recovers well.

Jellybaby dounds as if you are having good retirement days. You deserve it!

Bubbs I'm glad you're keeping safe.

    I had:
    Breakfast: yoghurt 1.5 syns
Lunch: pasta bolog with hexa cheese
Dinner: couscous with loads of salad and veg and hexa feta 2 syns. Airfried chicken breast.

    Options 1.5 syns.
Squirty cream straight in my mouth! About 1 syn lol

For the first time in ages I've come to bed with no snacks. It's when I have most of my syns and am trying to break the habit. WI tomorrow so every little helps.
Now curled up in bed with a kitten making biscuits on me so can't go and get snacks now even if I wanted to. Cat law applies!

There's nothing wrong with saving your syns for bedtime @NornironRose but breaking the habit would free syns up to use in other ways. Just don't go without syns as they're part of the plan however you choose to use them. Good luck for WI. 🤞

I'm having a drink tonight but as it's wine LO from Sunday (Yes, really!! 🤣) then syns have already been counted.

Definitely an off plan day tomorrow as I'm having a day out with my friend. I have a few off plan days/meals coming up but hopefully all can be rescued before next WI. 🤞

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg and bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L lentil and veg soup (P, S)
    D- lamb hotpot (P, S, F), greens (S)
Syns - cornflour 1 +some fat on lamb

@maman enjoy your day out with your friend.

    Today's plan:
    B overnight oats (HEB)
L 2 hard boiled eggs mashed with a sachet of ketchup (1 syn estimate)
D mince with loads of veggies and tinned tomatoes over the top of skin on fries cooked in the oven - I think they call it loaded fries!  I might put 40g reduced fat cheddar on top for a (HEA)
Snacks banana and sugar free jelly with berries
1 Tunnocks tea cake (5 syns)
Debt free and Keeping on Track
  • If anyone comes across a decent vegetarian sugar free jelly can you let me know please?

Can find either veggie or SF but not both.

Hungry now as I just had a yoghurt and banana this morning and have just done a 5 mile run. But WI is in 1.5 hrs so I will hold off for now. Eat something yummy later.
My sweet work colleague is losing weight too and is very happy. She's on 6.5lbs so hopefully will get her 1/2 stone today. Then she's off to India for 2 weeks and thinks she will put it all back on again.
She probably will but a holiday is a holiday!
