Morning all, looking to be a nice day today, well at least this morning as rain forecast for this afternoon. Wouldn't have minded getting a machine load of washing on but DH is still in bed as he was up half the night coughing and the wash bin is in our bedroom (only place it really fits unfortunately!). Still it is what it is and we've still got plenty of clothes to wear.
You made good choices for your lunch out yesterday @beanielou and glad you enjoyed it.
Well done on getting a bit of advance prep done to help keep you on track @MrsPorridge. Another fan of Tesco's Lighter than Light mayo - I always used to use Hellmanns but it just got far too expensive but I do still buy it if I can find it on special offer at a good price!
@maman - I suspect that it a government thing that all lodge/caravan parks have to be closed January/February as that's when all the sites in my area are closed. They all tend to reopen 1 March or Easter whichever is earlier (don't think Easter has ever been earlier than 1 March though!!!).
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - LF burger, onions, gherkin slices in WM soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
D - beef and bean stew; mash; green veg; dumpling? - P; S; F; 1.5?
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - dumpling 1.5? (will work out syns properly once I know how many I make from the mix)
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Afternoon all 😁
At home so happy 🤣 not long left now and we will be back permanently.
Yes they all shut then, some shut after fireworks then don't open till March, the other 2 here one is jan 15th -March 15th, one we're staying on 6th Jan- 1st Feb, us 1st feb- 1st March.
The one we're staying on will not be open for Easter for holiday makers because of the electricity situation. Ours don't have holiday makers it's a private site.
Took done washing to be done, brought one case home and emptied the clean washing , just getting something to eat , it's lovely sitting on a comfy sofa🤣
Will bring some more bits back tomorrow then won't be alot left for FridaySealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Well add me to the list of gainers , + 2 lb, my biggest gain ever - oops
I knew I had a gain, didnt know it was going to be that much though so a bit of a shock tbh. And Ive just scoffed two white rolls so I am going to suffer laterToday Ive written off alreadyStart again tomorrow0 -
Bet you'll be glad to be back home - not long now. It must be so much easier when you have your own things around you all the time.
DH got up about 10 so I did a quick wash and got it out on the line. Keeping an eye on the weather though as it's forecast to rain this afternoon although it still looks OK at the moment!
As we were so late having breakfast we decided it would just be brunch so will have a some cheese and crackers (HEA2; HEB) this afternoon and then dinner tonight. Will have the burgers for lunch tomorrow instead.

Good news for your dh Denise. Hope he continues to do so well.
Hope your dh is ok Coxy.
Sorry you guys for all your gains. It'll come off again. Do you find that a gain scares you a bit so you are determined for the next few weeks? It does with me.
Had a few days of eating little just because I was burning the candle at both ends with work.
In a lot of pain with a really inflamed hip. Still did parkrun because it would be rude not to! Bloody hurt though. Was so close to stopping on lap 1 of 3 but managed to get to the end.
Now cuddled up in bed with hot water bottle, cats and paracetamol and the new series of Clean it, Fix it.
Picky tray: pop chips (3.5 syns), grapes, sugar snap peas and an apple.
Late brekky of banana and yoghurt (1.5)
Dinner will be spag bol with parmesan (hexa)
Dessert may be quark with hot choc powder and hifi bars in it. Maybe some squirty cream on top.

I'm well impressed, dropped washing off about 11 just had a message to say ready!
dh says yes at a cost😂 £21 but that's washed, dried and folded, if id done it at home(which i cant because washer buggered) it would have been about 5 loads wash and dry i dont think it would have much under that and I'd have to do it! An it wouldn't be all done today!
Rose, hope your hip feels a bit better soon, well done on doing park run.
Yes a gain makes me determined this week!

@bubbs sorry about the gain, hopefully it will come off soon, great that you can return home very soon.
@joedenise good news about DH appointments/check ups.
@beanielou that soup sounds delish, hope you are less sore as the days pass.
@NornIronRose fingers crossed your rest with cats and hwbs do the trick with the pain
@Longwalker and @MrsPorridge commiserations to you both.
Feeling rather shattered now, except for a zzzzz of about 40 minutes I have been awake and up since 03:30 this morning, I think I was concerned that OH and BIL might oversleep I woke up far too early!
As a treat to myself this morning I walked dear dog, collected the newspapers and walked on to the riverside and had coffee and breakfast in the cafe/restaurant - scrambled eggs, lean back bacon and oatbread toast with a black coffee, will Syn the toast as per the book, as it is HM and I have no other reference, lovely picky plate for lunch a la @bubbs, wee JP with tinned salmon and yet more salad for tea. It is my wedding anniversary tomorrow, intending going for afternoon tea at a GC on Monday - to hell with the Syns for 1 day.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -
Happy anniversary for tomorrow @maddiemay. Agree to sod it syns for tomorrow!1
-
Hope your hip doesn't play up too much @NornironRose but well done on doing the Park Run despite the pain. 👍
Enjoy every syn of the afternoon tea for your anniversary when it comes @maddiemay. 💐
I'm sure you're counting the days, if not the hours, until you can get back safe and dry in your home @bubbs. There was a photo of the Nene near Fotheringhay in my paper this morning with cars trying to get through the water.
It's rained on and off all day here @joedenise so definitely no washing going outside.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L - LO casserole and pickles (P, S, F)
D- sausage casserole (P, S), penne (F)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 🍷ETA 1 syn for sausages0
