Afternoon all, been a busy morning as DH was at the hospital this morning for a follow up appointment after his op last October.  The surgeon is really pleased with how things have gone and has said that instead of the usual scan 3 months after the op he was going to leave it 6 months and then annually.  This works well as far as holidays are concerned as it will be July for the scan and August for the appointment with the surgeon!  We don't tend to go anywhere during July and August apart from weekends with the camping groups locally so easy enough to work around.

Did the shopping on the way home so now have plenty of fruit - only had grapes left by this morning!

Sorry to hear you had such a big gain @bubbs but I'm sure you'll soon shift that - as they say goes on quickly, comes off quickly.  Are you back home now or still in the hotel?

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, grapes; sweet freedom sauce - HEB; F; 1
    L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; S; F
    D - cottage pie, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - porridge
Syns - sweet freedom sauce 1; mini mix lolly 6

Hope you're all having a good day.

Not good @bubbs.  Don't blame you cooking at home and then back to the hotel.  Must be awful only half sleeping waiting to hear whether you've got to get out!  Stay safe.

When we lived here there wasn't a siren, so least that's progress! The reason we moved was because of flooding, ironic eh?

Many commiserations on your loss @bubbs. ☹️ You are probably only 0.5 lbs out of your new target so that should go in grace week. 🤞

It's such a shame that you have to move out during such a bad time of the year. I don't suppose you have a choice? 🤔

Good to hear that Joe is making such a good recovery @joedenise and very good news that it won't mess up summer holidays. 😎

I made some burgers earlier for tonight's dinner. I've got so much mince and other stuff in the freezer that I need to use up.

Meal plan and shopping done this afternoon. I have a clear week until Thursday.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L LO casserole (P, F, S), pickled cabbage (S)
    S burger (P, S), SW chips (F), garlic mushrooms (S, HEA 2), green stuff, tomatoes (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 🍷

Sorry @bubbs. The good thing for this thread is that my phone has loss on prescriptive text! 😁

Can't you all persuade the landlord to change the dates or is it a national government thing? I suspect it's because they think of the lodges as holiday homes so have the move out away from holiday times. Crazy when you think of the national housing shortage. ☹️

@joedenise good news for your DH.  @bubbs sorry about the gain, but with all you are going through at the moment I don't think you should be too hard on yourself.

I gained 1/2 lb again this week.  Really cross with myself.  I'm just messing about at the minute.  I've had a blow out today, but I am organsied now for rest of the week.  I've made up some tuna "mayo" using FF nat yorghurt, cucumber, tomatoes and tuna to have over the next few days.  I've also made up 5 portions of overnight oats.  Back on track tomorrow and hoping to kick start my weight loss again this week.

Sorry to hear about the little gain @MrsPorridge but you've got the right idea to get back on track. 👍

Have you tried the Lighter than Light mayonnaise? I use Tesco own brand and it's just 0.5 syns for a tbsp. I'm sure the tuna/yogurt will be fine but worth buying the mayo for the future. 🤔 I use it for making a Marie Rose sauce to go with prawns too. 😋

Thanks for that @maman   I will get some next time.  I like the sound of the Marie Rose sauce too.
