Morning all, we had the rain from early afternoon yesterday but overnight the wind was horrendous and it still is this morning.  At least it's not raining at the moment but not sure how long it will be before it starts as it certainly looks as though it's going to rain any time soon!

Great that you had a brilliant night's sleep @bubbs.  We had roast pork yesterday too - I even remembered to gets some swede and carrot mash out of the freezer to have with it along with the green veg!  I keep forgetting it's in there - I think there's probably another 3 or 4 lots to go!

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats; fruit; yoghurt - HEB; P; S; F
    L - jacket potato; tuna mayo; salad - P; S; F; 1
D - sweet and sour pork; rice (using up LO roast pork) - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

    Have a good day everyone.

Not going to class tonight. On my own scales with a heavy sweatshirt on I am 1/2 over target so I am ok with that.
Unfortunately I have a lot on this week involving an Indian which would have not been my personal choice.

I'm sure your sweatshirt weighs at least half a pound @beanielou. 🤣

I always freeze swede and carrot mash @joedenise. Of course it's different if you have a small YS swede @bubbs. I find swede very slow to cook so I prefer to make a batch in my biggest saucepan.

It's been dry, bright and blowy all day. I cleared the washing basket yesterday so today I washed a coat of DH's that's destined for the charity shop.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L - cold meat (P), 2 small potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- salmon (P), hassleback potatoes (F), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S, maybe HEA 2 if I do garlic mushrooms)
    Syns - 0

  • @Maddiemay, I hope you had a beautiful afternoon tea and enjoyed every mouthful - Happy Anniversary xx

@NornIronRose, sorry your hip is sore. Brave of you to push through, hope it eases soon

@Bubbs, you must be nearly sorted now regarding where you are living?

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping happy, safe and busy

So it was a bad week for me last week, dire. I spent a lot of it with a glass of scotch in my hand, meant eating went by the by, bad choices, late night picking etc, no wonder I got such a gain

Saturday was a complete write off, down the pub for the afternoon watching the rugby, three white bread rolls, packet of crisps, a home made munch box, then I attacked the chocolate

Sunday was a bit better, was working, so usual yoghurt/fruit/oatbran - and no cake. But had more then a couple of drinks, didnt fancy dinner and had an egg mash up with mushrooms and ham so not the worse, other then 2 pittas. I actually sat there on the sofa with my buttons straining, had to get my nightie on for comfort. However I was on the scotch

So woke today - determined. Kind of worked, only I was out of the house until 4pm so didnt get a bite to eat till then - I grabbed a muller and a banana rather then bread ( win ). Tea was a whole meal pitta pizza and salad and I got hungry there about 11pm so another yoghurt down my neck with a handful of granola. Drinks have been a freebie cappuccino my coffee supplier made me, green tea and a can of Diet Pepsi , the scotch has been left alone. So basically on plan, certainly low syns, but not enough food or fluids - Ill try again tomorrow

Just checked in for the flights and booked parking. All washing is done, just need to iron it tomorrow so deciding on what to take and packing wont take long and Im off on Saturday so plenty of time

Working Wednesday to Friday. they are going to be my concerning days tbh. Its quiet in work. When its quiet I get bored and picking starts. Also a certain person grinds my gears cos hes a lazy sod and walks back and forth one cup at a time, and whilst I do prefer to be running about, it pisses me off he gets away with it and I end up in a bad mood and have a drink

Still I can but try. I want this extra 2lb off at least, its a pita that Ive put it on before going away

Morning all, dry and bright this morning.  Probably the best forecast day this week and I’m stuck at the hospital all morning while DH has his first cataract operation done.  Will have to drive home - not looking forward to that as it’s out in the country so lots of little roads to drive along!

Had a couple of slices of toast with honey before we left and going to do a fry up for dinner this evening but not sure what we’ll have for lunch - depends a bit on what time we get home.

@Longwalker - just draw the line and get back on plan.  Enjoy your trip at the weekend.
