Morning all, brrr it's a cold one this morning. Looks lovely with all the frost but just so cold. Glad I don't need to go out today!
I managed to get all the washing almost dry and just needed to put them on the airer overnight to finish off. I got the washing in just before 2pm when it got really cloudy and by the time I'd hung it on the airer it was raining so I timed it just right! Everything off the airer and folded this morning - just need to put away later.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 8
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices in soft pitta (which we didn't have yesterday so need using) - HEB; S; 0.5
D - roast pork dinner - P; S; F; 1
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - 2 pork and leek sausages 8; apple sauce 1
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hey all, back from London. Enjoyed it all but utterly exhausted! Travelling down from Scotland I was expecting milder weather but it was blooming freezing and the rain was so heavy on Thursday we almost needed a boat. All good intentions went right out the window and I ate and drank what I wanted (too much being honest) but we walked absolutely everywhere and I’m quite proud I didn’t get lost on the subway 🤣
Missed class yesterday and same next week as I’m off again on Thursday for the weekend for my birthday.Noticed there’s 74 messages so you’ve been very chatty 😜 and I’ll try and catch up but hope you are all well, safe and dry!1 -
@joedenise no frost here, but buckets and buckets of rain. Our grass is like a quagmire.
On plan today:
B overnight oats
L roast chicken with gravy (1 syn), roast tatties, sprouts, green beans and carrot and swede mash.
D tuna "mayo" mix as an open sandwich on a thin (4.5 syns)
Snacks, banana, jelly with berries and a Tunnocks tea cake (5 syns)Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
You just love your Tunnocks teacakes @MrsPorridge. 🤣 Well done for staying on plan and having plenty to eat today. 👍
Just keep enjoying your retirement celebrations @Jellybaby. You deserve it. Things will settle down soon enough. Just try to have SW friendly meals when you can. 😊
We had the frost too @joedenise but it's rained solidly since about lunchtime☹️. I went out to pick up a click and collect, filled up the car and called into Aldi for a few things. I could have managed but as I was passing I got what was on my list since Friday.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk
L JP (F), tuna (P), spring onions and pickles (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many Speed veg.
Syns - cornflour 1, LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 🍷0 -
