Chose not to have G&T in the end as fancied an ice lolly this afternoon which is the same syns as 2 G&Ts!
Just glad I've now run out of lollies so can get some low syn ones and DH can continue with the 6 and/or 11 syn ones!
Good to hear you're still at home currently @bubbs - let's hope it stays that way. Good luck with clearing your washing mountain at some point. The only time I have that amount of washing is when we come back from holidays and it takes days to get it washed and dried as there's only so much you can get on the airer if it can't be hung outside!0 -
Thanks Beanie and Denise, but will be a bloody miracle if we are here tomorrow with what's forecast, lets hope there not right! We have booked hotel on flexi anyway just incase.
Denise washing will go in dryer!

Looks lovely bubbs. Glad you are still safe and dry for now.
Maddie well done on your STS.
Longwalker you sound really stressed and tired. Was discussing with my colleague today who is now coming to SW with me. Both of us are feeling less tired with eating less sugar. Maybe the picking isn't agreeing with you.
Mind you I'm knackered after some really long days. Only working a half day tomorrow so will recharge the batteries a bit.
Still feeling quite low in hormones. Have another almost 2 months of current HRT left so will see how I am nearer to the time and maybe see if I need a bit extra.
WI this evening and was dreading it as I had stayed on plan every day, but jumped on my own scales this morning and it looked as if I had put on. Cue a day of grumpiness and not eating at all (was super busy and didn't have time to eat anyway) and at WI had lost 2lbs!!! Happily surprised!
Got Ramadhan coming up in a few weeks which brings its own challenges. DD2 will be working every day and eating at work so I will stick to my usual happy dinners of loaded cous cous and omelettes with jacket spuds on other days. Lots of speed and fruit.
Breakfast : nothing
Lunch: nothing
Dinner: cous cous with loads of veg and hexa feta (2 syns)
Dessert: banana with low fat toffee yoghurt (1syn), squirty cream (2 syns), sprinkle of Nesquik choc powder (about 1/8 syn but makes it more desserty)
Will have my hexb sugar puffs later and maybe a couple of babybels.
Stay safe and dry everyone.

Very well done on your 2lb loss @NornironRose! 👏👏👏 Sorry you had a grumpy day and all for nothing. 🤣
Am I right in thinking you can drink during the day in Ramadan? 🤔 You've done ever so well to plan ahead. 😇0 -
@bubbs, hope you are where you want to be
@Maddiemay, Id take the STS right nowWhen I dont have to cook and only have to suit myself I naturally pick lighter foods. Im more then happy with scrambled eggs or if I want to pig out I do air fryer chips and cheese and curry sauce or a bowl of pasta, just anything really thats not a "proper dinner"
@mrsporridge, at least you stopped at two slicesI wouldn't have. I can honestly say I haven't had toast with butter since last year, I daren't , I wouldn't stop. Good to see a lot of speed in the bolognese
@nornironroase , well done on the loss, its flying off you nowGood luck with Ramadan. When I was in touch with my sister she found it very stressful because she would have to be cooking huge feasts to be ready when fast broke and not knowing how many were going to show. She found it particularly stressful in the summer months when it was so hot and she didnt want to be cooking and then eating so late at night. But then I suppose its not meant to be without sacrifice
I am tired, just really really tired and not got a minute. Im at the sister store today - dishwashing - which isnt as bad as it sounds, its a proper set up, not a cobbled together one so its not hard on the back ( last restaurant I worked in, the dishwashing was back breaking ) Then tomorrow Ive volunteered to do the dishes in my own place. I was supposed to have been off, but they are short staffed so I was asked to go in, I agreed, then two days later remembered Im having my coil removed at 10.30 am ( work starts at 12 ) so another early start, rush to get that done, pray to god they can find it ( been in so long it was supposed to have been removed 2020 ) and she doesn't cause me too much pain. then drive into work. So I thought sod that Im running around carrying heavy trays all day, Ill dish washStill I have Saturday off, and then its only a week to go before I head to Edinburgh for 3 nights - yayyyyyyyyyI made a casserole last night and decided I couldn't face it so had mackerel salad which I really enjoyed tbh. I was very good in work as well - NO CAKEIts tipping it down outside, the dog needs a walk and Ive got to find something for dinner and make up my brunch so Id best get a wiggle on - starting work in 2 hours and Im sat here in my nightie0 -
Morning all, it's damp and grey here but no rain at the moment although forecast for very heavy rain this afternoon - there are several flood warnings throughout Kent but fortunately not in the area where I live although even if this area floods it doesn't affect me other than not being able to go out as it's the village that gets flooded and being at the top of the cliff the water isn't going to get that high!
Hoping that you are still at the lodge @bubbs and didn't get an evacuation warning early this morning - it must be awful to not know if and when you are likely to get evacuated again and off to the hotel - glad you've got a flexible booking for that. Hope you've managed to wash and dry some of that washing - you must be running out of clothes with that amount to wash!
Well done on your 2lb loss @NornIronRose; certainly wasn't worth your grumpy day worrying about it!
Forgot to say well done @maddiemay on your STS yesterday. It's always an achievement when you haven't weighed for a while.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - Beans on toast - HEB; S
D - sweet and sour chicken, rice P; S; F.
HEA - milk.
HEB - bread.
Syns - none planned but will find something later!
Have a good day everyone.
