Rain seems endless up your way @bubbs. ☹️

Did you get to try that air fryer spray yet @bubbs? Thanks for the chip information @joedenise and @Longwalker. Do you use a spray bottle? 🤔

It's been another of those days where it was supposed to rain and didn't here. Was up early as British Gas came at 8.30am to fit our third set of smart meters. We had an email asking for readings, first we thought it was a scam and then when we tried the screens were blank so they've fitted new ones.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips (F), roast vegetables and green stuff (S)
    Syns - 0

  • @maman.  I got a spray bottle from Amazon , it does a fine mist , another reason why I spray in a big bowl , it’s a wide arc :). Actually I used it tonight to coat a frying pan , 3 sprays and when I tilted the pan I’d say and I’d be hard pushed , 1/2 a teaspoon

Been on plan today   Got a bit dodgy this evening , I was so tempted , but I did a 5k then ate a smoked mackerel fillet whilst getting the dinner on. Gave Buddy the skin

Dinner tonight was bubble and squeak, salad and left over chicken.   Probably a syn for the pickle ? Brunch was my usual fruit/bran/yoghurt but shop bought and two tubs so a syn there and then I had another one before the 5k

Really no idea what’s going on here with me. This is the third week I’ve been struggling. I’m tired , bone weary tired but barely sleeping so it’s probably that. My watch keeps sending out alarms that my stress levels and therefore heart beats are abnormally high but I can’t see what’s changed

sure it will sort it’s self out eventually. Probably I’m still reeling from what I paid in vet fees and glasses lol

Morning all, it's another dry day forecast (even if yesterday ended up not being one in the end!) so another load of washing in the machine.  Put yesterday's washing on the airer overnight but still not dry so will hang that out as well to finish off hopefully!

I use a spray bottle I got from Amazon as well.  I did actually measure how much 3 sprays came it with it (how sad is that!) and it was less than 1/4 spoon!  I don't bother counting the syns when I do that as I know I'm still within syns if I haven't had wine to drink!

We ended up in Spoons last night rather than having a takeaway kebab and I had the half char gilled chicken, took off the skin obviously so Free but as it was much later than I normally eat I couldn't eat it all so brought half of it home which I'll shred and add to today's lunch.  I did succumb to a glass of wine though so more syns than the kebab would have ended up as but I'm well within syns this week anyway!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - sweet chilli noodles with chicken and chopped salad bits - P; S; F; 3
    D - carbonara - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3

    Have a good day everyone.
  • @joedenise, I never syn spray oil either, its such a tiny amount and Im usually cooking for three

Funny story about the spray bottle. The one I have is an exact look alike for the Spray bottle that comes with Koh cleaning solution. I had friends around, a lot had been drunk, and I was doing up a plate of air fried chips and chicken wings, and yep the chips got a coating of Koh. A whole bag of chips got a good spray before I realised  Well me being tipsy , them all drunk, I just gave them a spray of oil and carried on. Koh is a natural product, salt and water so no body died :)

Another wet dull windy day here, which means work will be quiet :(  Quiet means boredom, boredom leads to picking

Ive just finished of my yoghurt and stored that away. Cos it strained all night it was like a brick so had to add some of the whey back in. Making it so thick means its so versatile , I often use it as the base of a pate - smoked mackerel - yum yum, and its as creamy as extra thick double cream so I use it in cooking where forage fraise or cream is called for. There is absolutely no sharpness about it. Mr L likes a wee bit of honey but I find it sweet enough au natural with just berries  Made up my bowl for work with the last of the last batch

We are going to friends after work, our doggy sitters, so I need a quick tea. Just had a root about the freezer and found some sausages and black pudding so thats what they are getting - with eggs and mums going to hate me but Ive potato waffles sat there from the summer when the grandkids were here and Im using them. Freezer is full of odds and sods. Dont know what Ill have, Ive half a packet of mackeral fillets so will probably have those . Ive a tiny chicken that Mr L took out by accident so will joint that and prep a casserole for Wednesday , just need to get some mushrooms. Im doing ok with meals, its just the picking Im struggling with. I think that those couple of months where I settled at target which allowed more leeway didnt do me any favours now Im back trying to loose a bit more

Had another sort out of clothes, half a drawer full of vests pulled out for rehoming , along with all my size 12 jeans. My best friend who I walk with, well shes as tall as Im short. She was also very broad around the hips and bum where as I was broad about the back - so really two completely different shapes - and yet we are now both wearing the same size around the bust ( she too has lost 20lb or more ) She has a few of my casts off ( leggings that hang on my legs fit her ) Shes also experiencing a shrinking wardrobe and has now taken to offloading on Vinted and has made over a hundred in just 3 weeks. Its something Im going to have to think about because Im spending a ruddy fortune and Ive earmarked a few pieces left on the clearance at work :)

Oh and Buddy is nearly back to normal :) Last of the antibiotics in him, poo is getting back to normal and hes back looking food., Hes still sleeping more then usual but seeing more of his cheek , right now him and the cat are doing zoomies across the living room and back of sofa :)

I'm pleased he's better @Longwalker but Buddy was easier when he was lying on the sofa, instead of chasing over it! 🤣

When I got to target I decided not to ease up on a regular/daily basis. I seem to remember we were advised to  have extra HEXs. 🤔 It suits me better to stick to plan whenever I can and that gives me a bit of leeway for eating out.

It made a change for you to have wine last night @joedenise. You've not had much lately which must free up loads of syns. 😁

Really enjoyed my lunch. I cooked some penne to have with LO chicken and roasted veg. Was delicious with a bit of tomato puree to make a sauce and some cheese on top. 😋

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L- pasta, roast vegetables and chicken (F, S, P, HEA 2 Parmesan)
    D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns - half Crunchie 3⚽
