    Morning all

    Denise glad you slept better.

We are on tenderhooks, the rain was abysmal during the night and early hrs, i honestly can't see us being here in the next 48 hrs!
Although we are on alert and not warning, but there is water everywhere and if they open the flood gates we definitely will be off, DH said longs i get my roast 🤣🤣
We went home but came back after an hr as don't want to not be allowed back on, took the washing to be done, asked at security as we came in and she aid we are ok, drove round by the river and it's literally can't get a fag paper between the top of the water and bank 😢😢

Just getting something to eat and make sure the case has everything we need in it

What a nightmare @bubbs. This must be your worst year ever for the time you have to move out. If there is a plus side, I suppose it's even worse if it was your permanent home under threat of flooding. ☹️

I'm almost ashamed to say that it's a lovely day here. Rain was forecast but didn't materialise so have put the washing in the line and it's drying well.

Really envious of your lunch @joedenise. I suppose it's really quick and easy to make a few chips in the new air fryer. Which model did you get? 🤔

Meant to post that Iceland have Primula at 5 for £5. I plan to get some this week if offer is still on. No Light though, just original and flavours.

My favourite SW friendly sausages are either Aldi skinny (0.5 syn) or Sainsburys BGTY Cumberland (1 syn). The Sainsburys ones are actually cheaper per kg than Aldi.

Got a YS chicken in Asda yesterday so we're having that today. Also YS turkey mince so will make meatballs while the oven is on. It's 7% mince but I reckon I'll make 30 + for 3.5 syns so not worth counting.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L - lentil and veg soup, mackerel in mustard sauce, leaves, beetroot (P, S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes, LM stuffing (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😋

Hope things calm down for you @bubbs horrible reading what you’re going through.

Pleased I lost a pound yesterday. Don’t think I’ll be as good this week as I’m off to London on Tuesday for a few days to visit a friend. Meals out and alcohol are definitely on the cards and I’ll draw a line when I’m back. Will miss group next week but may look at other classes I might get to.

Gammon joint, roasties and loads of veg for us later. Can’t wait, I’m quite hungry now 😁

Not having the toad now!  DH said he'd rather just have yorkie with veg so I'm going to do a veg toad instead with carrots, onions, and mushrooms instead of roasting the veg.  Will still do some roast potatoes and green veg.  Will be interesting if another else but than him complaining again about the sausages!  We've tried the Sainsbury ones - I didn't mind them but DH didn't like them so looks like we'll be back to our butchers low fat ones as they're only 1 syn each as well, it's just that the skins tend to be a bit tough.

@maman - we bought a Ninja Flexdrawer as it's more versatile than the other models.  I mainly use it as the whole drawer without the divider but have used it a couple of times with the divider in and cooking 2 different things which require different cooking types or times.  Today's chips are the best we've had so far.  I soaked them for 30 minutes before draining and drying and then sprayed them with oil (Ninja don't recommend using Frylight) before putting into the air fryer and then air fried for about 25 minutes giving them a shake a couple of times.

Well done of your lb loss yesterday @Jellybaby.  Enjoy your time in London visiting your friend.  As we often say on here SW has to work around your life not your life around SW!

Hope the siren doesn't go off for your @bubbs but agree with you it's the sensible thing to get out as soon as it sounds rather than risking your life or the life of rescuers.

You're not the only one needing a new tap @bubbs!  My kitchen mixer with attached drinking water tap is leaking.  DH has tried new washers but it won't stop leaking so going to have to get a new one soon.  No idea how much that will be - this one was installed when we had the new kitchen about 5 years ago and it was something like £130 then!  Not looking forward to finding another one.

Keep safe @bubbs.  That river is definitely breaking it's banks.

Thanks for the photo @bubbs, shows how precarious the situation is. 🤞all will be well.

I can see why you chose the accommodation though, what a beautiful setting. But NOT in the rain. ☹️
