Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I wouldn't worry too much about the celebration lunches. This is a special time for you. I'd make the most of it and settle back into SW when things quieten down. The best thing to do IMO is have SW meals when you're at home just to keep in touch.

Hotel breakfasts can be quite good @MrsPorridge if you stick to bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes. Hash browns aren't too bad but I'd avoid sausages. There's often a SW HEB cereal and fresh fruit and yogurt.ย

Your cold sounds just like we've had @joedenise. Not sure if it's one that lasts or reinfection. Just when we start to feel 'normal' we've had a bout of sneezing or a sore throat as a reminder! โ˜น๏ธ

    Today's plan -ย
B- HEB roll, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk for drinksย
L cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
    S Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesanย
    Syns - 0

Morning all, it's been raining overnight but dry now and very windy! ย Think there's more rain forecast later. ย No plans to go out today.

Do hope the rain isn't too bad where you are @bubbs. ย Is it today you're going back to the lodge? ย Things will be much easier for you there than in the hotel.

Sorry @Coxy11 meant to say hope your DH's job is safe and he doesn't get made redundant.

I'm really struggling to lose the last couple of pounds I need to lose to get back in target range! ย I had a small gain last week but only had one day not completely on plan - that had shifted when I weight myself this morning and I'm back to what I was previously so still about 1.5lb outside of range! ย Will stick with it this week and hopefully can shift it as need to go back either next week or the week after. ย It is currently 8 weeks until our next holiday so ideally I'd like to go next week and then that will be 7 weeks until the last week before holiday to get weighed and give me a few weeks after we get back to shift any gain! ย We're going to France for 4 weeks!

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, grapes, blueberries, raspberries - HEA2; HEB; S; F
    L - sweet chilli noodles - S; F; 3
    D - salmon and orzo with spinach - P; S; F

    HEA1 & 2 milk
    HEB - weetabix
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3

    Have a good day everyone.

  • @coxy11 Sorry your DH has received such worrying news. Hopefully it wont come to the worseย

Well done on the loss @jellybaby . Enjoy being spoiled at the upcoming lunches, You can always pull it back @breakfast and tea

@joedenise, sorry you are poorly again. My poor friend has had adult whooping cough since October and still isnt 100%, shes getting one thing after the other on top of the whooping cough. Being poorly wont help with weight loss, body under stress its going to slow everything down

@bubbs , good to hear you are finally settled, lets hope its all plain sailing from now on ( excuse the pun )

    Buddy is very ill :(

Hes up here on the sofa in his bed, stretched out, head hanging down over the side, struggling :( His temp is 106.5 - 107 can be fatal :( ย So Im sat here freezing as Ive packed wet towels around him and have the fan over him ย trying to get it down. Hes been given antibiotics and anti inflammatories via injection and I have some paste Ive got to squeeze into him twice a day to help firm things up. Hes got Campylobacter. I mean he will be fine once his temp comes down and stays down but right now Im pretty upset. Poor wee mite and he gets so stressed at the vet and the poor wee vet got covered in poo herself trying to get his temp done. Hes wee bum is raw ( I know - tmi )ย

As long as I can keep the temp down tonight and he carries on drinking all will be good and he should start to perk tomorrow as the antibiotics kick in but right now things are pretty worryingย

Morning all, so sorry to hear buddy still isn't very well, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in today.

I am still plodding @beanielou but it's frustrating to be sticking to plan but still not shifting anything! ย Don't think it helps that I don't have much of an appetite either at the moment.

Had to go for a blood test first thing so not long been back and only just had something to eat and drink as it was a fasting one. ย As usually the phlebotanist had a problem finding a vein and ended up using a very small vein very close to my funny bone so much further round than usual but at least she managed to find one!

ย Also done a machine load of washing and got that blowing on the line. ย Forecast is good so hopefully it will dry and won't need to go on the airer to finish off!

    So today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - bacon sandwich - HEB; P; 2
    D - beef and bean stew, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 2

    Have a good day everyone.
