Oh dear @bubbs!  So where are you now?  It must be so frustrating having to be evaluated in the middle of the night.  Hope you can get back there quickly.  With all the flooding problems it's a shame you can't just go back to your lodge.

Hi everyone. How is everyone doing? I went to WI today and lost the half pound I gained last week. Didn’t mean to sound defeatist last week. Am pleased however that I managed to lose something. This week is looking the like it will be the same. I’m out for an Italian tonight for pre birthday celebration. On my actual birthday on Wednesday MRM is cooking a steak dinner.  So in between I want to try and get in as much speed as I can.  We are away next weekend so do want to see a loss again on Saturday before we go.

Hey gang, I’m back and now a lady of leisure 🥳🥳. It’s been an absolutely hectic, mad, emotional couple of weeks and SW went right out of the window.

I’ve a busy few months coming up which includes lunches, dinners and three holidays 🙈🙈 but I’ll do my best! I’m back at one and half stone to lose to get to target and giving myself to the summer (no month picked yet) to get there.

I managed dry January by the skin of my teeth and plan to do variations of this going forward as I quite enjoyed it surprisingly - feeling and looking better, more energy and general get up and go make it a no brainer.

Hope you’re all doing well. I plan to read back and catch up with all your news 🥰

The next few months sound exciting @Jellybaby.  Bet you'll wonder how you found the time to go to work!  I know I do at times!

Well done on your loss @VALM.  You've got a plan for the busy coming week so should be another loss next week if you stick with it.

    Evening all

We are ok, thanks everyone 😘

We are in a hotel, booked here till Tuesday at least!

I was knackered and went bed about 10.15, i didn't hear the siren, woke up to DH poking me, not in that way either 🤣🤣i said is that the siren, Yes bubbs!! he goes, i said oh effin hell, pj's off, clothes on, stuff chucked in the car and off we went! I then pulled over to book a hotel as there would be hundreds wanting to book, could book tonight and tomorrow but not last night, so we came to the hotel and because it was after midnight you can't book online so he booked us in 😁2.40 we rolled back in bed, honestly i am knackered!

Today we went home, i emptied the dirty washing into a bin liner......don't forget the washing machine is knackered! re filled with clean clothes but i don't have enough pants for another whole week, thought i had, i have hundreds of socks, so we went primmani to get some more.

Food has gone out the window really, i have had a bag of crisps 3.5 syns, banana x 2, satsuma, chinese beef and mushroom 12.5 syns, spoon full of rice and handful of chips, belgian bun 🤣

Longwalker, yes i have been this weight before pre covid and maintained it for 3 1/2 yrs, covid made me gain dunno why as didn't eat any different! but maintained this weight till since just before christmas when i started losing again.

    Well done Valm .

Jelly nice to see you and i hope you enjoy your early retirement , certainly looks like you are going too 😁😁

Congratulations on your retirement at last @Jellybaby! 🎉 Enjoy all your planned celebrations.

Well done on getting that half pound off @VALM and your loss @MrsPorridge 👏👏👏

I'd suggest the same to you both and @Jellybaby, enjoy your meals off plan but try to stick to SW friendly food in between. It's so easy to think s*d it when we know we're going to over syns for the week.

Hope you're OK @bubbs, seems ridiculous that you are evacuated when you've got your own home empty!  Given the shortage of housing the rules need changing IMO. 🤔

I didn't realise you'd done SW before @Gilly82 . If it was since EE took over from Red and Green then I think the only big change has been the extra HEA. If you really can't get to a group for one session then ask on here for syn values as we can easily look them up.

I really enjoyed the ballet last night. Also a syn free Friday so balanced out my syns on Thursday. 👍

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L JP (F), cottage cheese and spring onions (P, S), pickles (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), carrots, green stuff, tomatoes, garlic mushrooms (S, HEA 2 cheese)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 😁

Maman , glad you enjoyed the ballet 😁

I know it is crazy!! but yes we are ok, safe, warm and a roof over our heads although we have had to pay out again! Some people have no where to go and cannot afford a hotel, when we booke Monday earlier it's gone up £30 because everyone is booking!!

  • @bubbs glad you got the hotel.  Its awful that they increased the prices.

    I've eaten more today.

    B overnight oats (HEB)
    L veggie soup
D cooked Chinese banquet from the new magazine and had chicken satay skewers, rice with mushrooms, chicken kung pao and sweet and sour prawns - (10 syns) approx, but lots of speed!
