Well done of your loss @maddiemay but sorry you're not feeling well.  Hope you feel better very soon.  If you're struggling with your appetite I'd try to just eat something and not worry too much about what it is.  If you find you've eaten rubbish then damage limitation is the name of the game!

Enjoy your mushroom risotto tonight - if you can manage some of that it should hopefully mean you won't eat rubbish.

That's an amazing result @maddiemay. 👏👏👏 Sounds like you did well even to get to WI when feeling so poorly. Just do your best. If it's only a little of what you fancy it won't be too bad.

Well done on being back at target with that great loss @maddiemay. Sorry you're not feeling too great though. I hope you manage some of the risotto - that's ultimate comfort food for me.

I am still very much on plan. Discovered today that I've been diddling myself out of a whole 10g of blueberry wheats as HEB is 45g not 35g! Syns have been under 10 every day and I did another 3.5k run this morning in the dark and rain at 6am. I know it doesn't make a difference to my weightloss but it does help my mood.

DH is proper poorly with sinuses and snored most of last night. He has however decided to go to the pub quiz tonight with DD and some buddies. He will sleep in DS2's room!

I need to prep some lunch stuff for the next two days as now down to a single portion of leftovers in the freezer - veg chilli. Might just cook some rice and divvy up to two portions. Also only have apples left plus some grapes. Need to shop for an iceberg lettuce tomorrow lunchtime (for burger in a bowl on Friday mmmm) so will top up then.

    Evening all 😁

Well done Maddie that's a fab loss, but sorry you are not well, look after yourself .

Well we went on a rd trip today to the company shop 🤣 i'll be going next week too as meeting my friend Tuesday, Weds i am taking Mum to order Dad's headstone as you have to wait 6 months for the ground to settle.

Anyway didn't get much, got some chicken mince, 3 packs boneless thighs, 2 pasties for DH, 2 bags potatoes, some mullers for DH, cost £10.02 was happy with that. Went Asda got some household bargains, some of there own washing liquid £1.43 reduced, went Tesco bought DH a new coat as he ripped his other good one somehow, got a real straight right angle rip in it 🙄

    Food banana

soft pitta hexb , with egg mixed with hexa cheese spread and salad stuffed in it

Casserole , 2 syns for gravy granules i used to thicken the stock pots with.

I have never had a cheat day intentionally , i have had days gone off plan with Percy though 🤣

  • Congratulations @maddiemay. Sorry you have been so poorly though and hope you are on the mend soon xxx

@joedenise  , you live on an Island? Scottish?  We have a "post office" in out nearest village - it sells stamps and takes parcels and thats about it. Next village does banking and car tax etc, but for more important stuff, we have to go to town. Still Im grateful we do have some kind of service. Our postal is dire - one collection at 3pm, if something needs to go first class, got to drive to town. Saying that our posties are brilliant ( dont get here all mid afternoon ) but they will collect as well

Im struggling this week - big time. Always the way after a big for me loss. Im barely eating which is the problem, and Im barely eating cos Ive been picking. Its not even the volume of picking, its the crap Im picking at. Yesterday, there was a end of batch scone left in the kitchen - I picked away at it till it was all in me, then we had friends up for drinks, so the nuts and crisps came out, and not any old nut - maple covered cashews no less, and I must have had about 20 ( I didnt drink, stuck to the Diet Coke ) so of course I wasnt hungry for dinner. About 10pm I was hungry and on the counter was the bowl of left over crisps and before I knew it - crisp sandwich made and devoured. Saving grace , the bread was my HEB lol

So other then all the fruit in my yoghurt, Ive not seen anything healthy all week !!! And my tummy and bowels know it :(

    As do the scales !!!

Off today, heading out shortly for an eye test, Im struggling to see in the evenings, As well as astigmatism Ive now developed macular degeneration so not only are my glasses a kings ransom in costs, I have to have a new prescription every 18 months. I might just get them tested today and hold off on the new glasses for a while , perhaps until next pay day ' Ive not managed to get the online try before you buy thingy to work so not tried any one. Im totally blind without glasses so trying on frames in store is a complete and utter waste of time. I like to try on at home and go with a list of frames I think suit and take it from there

No idea about food, I need to shop and get some veg and salad stuff, Ive not shopped this week and been using up freezer veg ( which I dont like )

Hopefully will be in better spirits later and be able to get back on board

Have a good day everyone xx

    Afternoon all.

Hope you're feeling better soon @maddiemay and  we've all been there @Longwalker with just having off days / weeks / months (in my case).  Hope you find your mojo again soon.

Had burger in a bowl for dinner last night @Coxy11 and forgot how amazing it is.

Still been a bit all over the place this week but today is a new day.  Had overnight oats with blueberries for breakfast, lunch is another random mix of salmon, cottage cheese and cucumber kimchi and dinner tonight is leftover bbq meatballs and rice (it has peppers and onions in it).

Better run, have another call starting soon so hope you all have a good day.

Afternoon all, wherever has this morning gone?  I haven't actually done much other than making some humus and some falafels (which have just come out of the air fryer!); spoken to my sister for an hour about absolutely nothing!  The rain has been really heavy overnight and first thing but seems ok at the moment although think it's still in the air.

Yes I live on an Island @Longwalker but just off the Kent coast not Scottish one!  I'm from South East London originally but moved here just over 20 years ago.

Draw the line @Longwalker and get back on plan.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - LO sweet chilli noodles - P; S; F; 1.5
    D - Beef stew from freezer, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
HEB - will probably have some Ryvita with HM hummus
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Yes, we know all about you and Percy @bubbs! 🤣

Hopefully doing some food shopping will help you get back on plan @Longwalker.🤞

I must try that burger in a bowl recipe. Good recommendation from @Coxy11 and @ruby_eskimo means it has to be worth it.😋

We didn't get out for our usual Thursday walk today @joedenise as the forecast was so awful. It's rained solidly but not as heavy as forecast. I think some areas have much worse.

I went to WI this morning and gained a pound! No idea how as I've been 100 % on plan for the two weeks since I went last. 🤔 The good news is that I'm still in target range and don't have to go again until early April.

We're out for a meal tonight (first time this year). I'll choose wisely but wine syns will be involved. I'm not concerned though as I'm going to the theatre tomorrow night so will swap my usual indulgent Friday for Thursday this week.

I've been thinking of something I could take to eat in the interval tomorrow. The ice cream is ridiculously expensive and I'm not a huge fan anyway but people around me will be eating. 🤔
