I'd take that as a NSV @bubbs. Morning all, it's a bright and breezy day this morning so another load of washing is on which I'll get out on the line as soon as it's finished. Only a couple of things didn't quite dry yesterday but were dry before we went to bed so got put away.
Great NSV @bubbs with the new landlady noticing how much weight you've lost in the last year. As I don't seem to move much I never get any comments like that!
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix with milk - part HEA2; 6 (didn't fancy any fruit with it!)
L - Beans on toast - F; HEB; cheese part HEA2
D - Lamb tagine, couscous - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - milk/cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - Weetabix 6
My planning has gone completely to pot as it should have been jacket potato for lunch today but the bag of potatoes I bought hasn't got a decent sized potato in it! Will buy some proper jacket potatoes when I go shopping tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Forgot to say that when I weighed myself this morning I've only got about 1.5lb to get back to top end of target range so if I keep going with the mainly low syn days then I will hopefully be back in target by the time I go to WI! I've actually got until the last Wednesday of this month before I have to weigh again but if I'm back in target by next week then I'll go then.0
-
That's really good going @joedenise. You should be safely within target range after another week. I'm going to WI this week. It's only two weeks since I went last but I want to push my 8 week window forward a bit to take in my birthday, a family wedding and Easter.
Shame about the potatoes as designated 'baking potatoes' can be so expensive. Like you, I normally find some big enough in the bag to bake even if I have to use two.
We've not seen @SingleSue for a while. I do hope she and her sons are OK? 🤔
I've juggled the menu around a bit this week. Yesterday's chicken was big and plenty left so we'll have that today instead of planned fish. We're out on Thursday evening so need to make sure fresh veg gets used up in between.
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge , HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- ham (P), potato (F), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips (F), roast veg and green stuff (S)
Syns- 1 (last square of this Hu Salty Dark Chocolate | Ocado that DGD gave me because she didn't like it! 🤣)0 -
Todays menu:
B overnight oats (HEB)
L crustless quiche and salad with a pack of pom pom bears (3.5 syns), satsuma
D jacket spud with leftover cajun spiced chicken.
Snacks sugar free jelly with berries in it and FF yoghurt
A bit confused about the sugar free jelly - I think its half a syn per pack. I make it up to four portions 2 for me and 2 for DH over 2 days. I'm not counting it as a syn though although I am guessing its a quarter of a syn for two portionsDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
If you are making the 4 portions out of a pack then I'd ignore it too @MrsPorridge.
When I make the Hairy Bikers braised steaks that gives at least 4 portions of gravy for 1 tsp of cornflour. I think I'd have to be desperate to count that! 🤣1 -
Afternoon all. Last week got away from me again (work's busy, house stuff is taking up my time etc.) so wasn't really checking in. Have skimmed the thread but probably missed a lot so congrats to the losers and commiserations to the gainers.
I haven't weighed in myself this week as star week is here and I'm bloated as anything so there's absolutely no point. Have been keeping up with the exercise and daily walks so at least I'm moving and that should be doing something.
Simple breakfast this morning of bran flakes and clementines, lunch was a mixed bowl of cottage cheese, salmon and cucumber with some dried seaweed and then bit of siracha over the top. Very yummy and full of protein so means I shouldn't be wanting to snack later. No idea what dinner is going to be as DH has just sprung on me that he's off bowling with his colleagues this evening so will have to raid the cupboards for something as planned dinner isn't something that will reheat well 🤔 Might be a jacket potato at this rate with "something" and some salad.

@maman - the potatoes just aren't big enough for even 2 each to be enough for a meal! Might just about get away with 3 each but it would be a nightmare working out how long to cook them for the middles to be soft and the skins crispy! Have to say we both enjoyed the beans on toast which is something we've not had for ages anyway.
Going to make a curry sauce this afternoon and stir through the LO chicken from yesterday (only cooked half a chicken and put the other half in the freezer for later in the month). Will probably freezer the chicken curry for next Saturday night.
