Yes, has a quiet @MrsPorridge. We're probably missing @joedenise starting us off in the morning! She's probably warm and enjoying the Canaries by now! 😎

You look to be well on track.

You'll have many more days enjoying a lie in, in a few weeks @Jellybaby

I had a message from my consultant earlier to say this is the last week to get a new set of books free of charge. Does anyone think there's much in them that's new? I've not heard of any changes to the plan. 🤔

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA 1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L ham (P), potatoes (F), LO veg and pickles (S)
    D- salmon (P), potato cubes (F), garlic mushrooms (HEA2, S), green stuff, tomatoes (S)
    Syns - 0

    Hi all,
Brrrr it's cold. We are off to the cinema tonight to see One Life - had it booked 2 weeks ago but was too poorly to go :(
New books - same plan just laid out slightly differently and less 'butterflies and flowers' to appeal to the men that also attend group. I wouldn't worry too much if you don't manage to get one.
Dinner tonight was stir fry pork using leftovers from the roast yesterday, a sliced onion, a red and a yellow pepper, garlic, chilli, ginger and soy. Very nice too.
Hope @joedenise has a lovely time.
Watch out for that snow @Jellybaby - hopefully you are WFH??!!

Soup looks perfect for a cold day @bubbs. 😋

You'd better make the most of your ice cream as IIRC the machine is too heavy to take with you when you have to move out. 🤔

  • Im here :)

Sorry theres too many posts to read back on and make meaniful replies to you all, Ive got the gist that Bubbs has been without Gas but its sorted now ( isnt it a pain Bubbs having to order fuel in? Im on oil, so have the same hassles ) But I dont understand you have to move out for a month??

Joedenise has abandoned us to the cold and is lying in the sun somewhere?

@jellybaby - thats a bummer having a gain when doing Dry January - I feel the pain

    Well done @Valm, great loss

@MrsPorridge , Im struggling as well at the moment but Im not giving up

Sorry for all those Ive missed

Apologies for being AWOL so long. I was proper poorly there for a few days, took some time off work, got a call could I possibly go in as they were short, dragged my sorry !!!!!! in and totally knackered myself. On Friday I was the only one on the floor - serving and turning the tables and we have been busy busy busy. TBH Ive been coming home and just slumping and nodding off

Still good news is - 13 days dry and another measly 1/2lb loss lol

Trouble is Im not on plan, Im nibbling rather then eating. Today, small bit of Christmas cake - no icing - for breakfast , in work a piece of wheaten , a sausage, about 4 chips, a tiny sample of the new gluten free stuff that came in ( think a small brownie cut into 8 ) then a huge scone for supper . Not a lot of food, but all high syns and lets face it, high calorie and fat and sugar. Oh and I just inhaled a small chocolate teddy bear

So whats happened is, when I drank I only ever ate free food. Now Im not PLUS I have the higher syns/HEA AND HEB I've kind of gone off the rails and I really CBA at the moment. Seems Im doing the Christmas eating now . Mind I usually go for the sweet stuff when unwell so its been the perfect storm. And Im tired, very very tired and not getting out of the house for walks as the weather has been dire - snow, ice, freezing fogs - we are getting the works here

So I need to get myself back on course , I need to get back on here, and I need a good kick up the bum :)
