Morning all, was definitely very cold when we got up this morning - even with having the fire on it's still only 16 degrees in the living room so still not warm!  Just having a cup of tea which will hopefully warm me up a bit before going to have my shower and hair wash.  Have a waxing appointment at 9.30 this morning so will be going into town; will need to pop into the SM as need some potatoes but I'll only pick up enough for the weekend rather than a bag.  If they haven't got any loose ones then I'll pop to the farm shop on the way home as have to drive past it anyway!

Those gas people are a real pain @bubbs!  Absolutely ridiculous to be without gas in the weather we've got at the moment and it's forecast to get even worse next week.  I really hope that you get it today.  You can't live on takeaways and there's only so much cold food you can eat.

When do you actually have to move out?  Is it the end of the month?

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - scrambled eggs and spinach on toasted thin - HEB; P; S
    D - fish pie, peas - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - thin
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

So annoying about the gas @bubbs. Hope it gets sorted today 🤞🏻

We are eating out tonight at the Faversham brewery - gift from DSis and BIL for DH’s birthday last year. Will be working my lunch and leaving early as meal starts at 7pm. It’s pork belly followed by treacle tart so 100% not on plan. Will be good throughout the day I promise!

I was very premature with my holiday wishes to you @joedenise!! 🤣

    Hi all,

Brrrr @bubbs hope you get the gas and some compensation!  That's awful leaving you without heat or hot food.

@maman my sauce for meatballs is similar to yours 😊I also add chilli flakes if I haven't already added them to the meatballs.  Once added to both and it was rather fiery!  If I've mushrooms, peppers etc to use up I'll add them then blitz to smooth to keep DS2 happy (he's an adult not a toddler but still has issues with lumps 😣).

    Enjoy your meal out @Coxy11!

Dry with a bitingly cold wind here today.  I suspect we may have snow before next weekend bah!

    Food today:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, apple and banana
    L - lentil soup
    D - chilli with rice.

WI tomorrow and I'm not in the least confident still feeling very bloated. Clean jeans today and they're far too snug!

    Afternoon all.

Hope you get the gas sorted asap @bubbs!

Also hope you have a lovely holiday @joedenise - taxi is definitely a sensible option.  When we last went to Florida, we booked transfers through Virgin Holidays and after an hour of waiting at the airport, the rep just shoved us in a taxi and told the driver to invoice the company!

We're also eating out at a brewery this evening @Coxy11 but not as fancy as yours sounds - just pizza and beer for us!

DH's been working really long hours for the last week as it's a busy time in his industry so I thought he deserved a little treat.  We've been to this brewery a lot as it's only a 15 minute walk away but they've recently refurbished their tap room and now do wood fired pizzas so thought it would be a nice little evening out.  Have been on plan the rest of the day though with ff yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, mushroom soup with clementines for lunch and then dinner will be pizza and beer.  Will also complete a workout before we go so hopefully that will counteract some of the treats later on.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!
