    Morning all,

I'd written a post yesterday but forgot to press the post button d'oh!

Hope all the poorlies feel better soon.  There's so many bugs going around it seems you just get over one and other comes along.  DS1 needed antibiotics and think DS2 is about to follow. I'm back and work and the countdown is well and truly on 🤣

Food has been fine so far this week although I'm incorporating a few high syn things to use up rather than waste.

    Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEB), f/f Greek yoghurt, raspberries
L - pea and ham soup
D - chicken burritos with huge salad - will syn the wrap and my share of mexican rice pouch

    Have a good day everyone

Morning all, a lovely dry but absolutely freezing cold day.  The skies just look so blue after all the greyness of the past few weeks; certainly lifts my spirits.

Final shop before holiday done!  Just needed a few fresh bits to do this week's meals so now all set for the rest of the week to be SW friendly.  It needs to be after how it's been since WI last Wednesday!!!  I'm not planning to weigh tomorrow but need to pop in to pick up the Air Fryer book which I ordered last week but consultant didn't have any in stock.

Hope everyone who is feeling poorly feels better very soon.  Think I've been lucky so far and haven't actually caught any of the horrible bugs going around "touch wood!!!"

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge; maple syrup - HEB; 1
L - sweet chilli noodles with LO lamb pieces; various veg chopped up which needs using up; sweet chilli sauce - P; S; F; 1.5
    D - egg, chips, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - Sweet chilli sauce 1.5; maple syrup 1

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all,

Chilly here but no snow or frost today….yet…. I did some ironing last night and got work clothes and my packed breakfast and lunch out, so no rushing about this morning. I put a darks wash on which DH will sort on the airer, and have taken 5% pork mince out of the freezer to defrost.

I bought in puffed wheat, mullerlight, blueberries, lo massaman curry, cherry toms and a cheese portion, a satsuma and an apple. Dinner tonight is Pork Szechuan with noodles – a family favourite.

Sorry to hear you had a disturbed night @ruby_eskimo and hope you feel better today x

Annoying about your meal cost @NornIronRose – cheeky of them to use small print! I have slept on many ropey beds during my JoGLE hiking, but usually too flipping exhausted to bother changing rooms!

That’s my usual trick @Jellybaby – write a post at work on Word and forget to copy over to the forum! Not today!!

Have a good day everyone x

We did have some snow yesterday. I drove through it to my art group. Roads were fine but slopey pavements were a bit treacherous. Brilliant sunshine today. 🌞

Feeling better today. 🤞I'm on the mend but don't want to speak too soon. I've had stomach cramps too @ruby_eskimo but apparently it's one of the symptoms of this long cold virus. 🤔

You sound super organised @Coxy11. Well done!

I'm fortunate @Jellybaby that the high syn things left from Christmas are things DH eats (mostly cake and biscuits) not ingredients for meals. I was going to finish the Quality Street last night but DH got there first! 🤣 I did have 2 dates and 2 walnuts but still have 20+syns left until tomorrow so no problem.

At least you enjoyed the toast and the expensive meal @NornironRose. Are you able to have a take away in your hotel? Does work pay for restaurant meals? 🤔

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L - LO veg and pickles (S), ham (P), 1 potato
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0
