For the first time in 3 weeks or more we have brilliant sunshine and no rain. But, it is very cold, but a good trade off to see the sun.

    Todays plan
    B overnight oats (HEB)
    L home made pea soup
D curry night I estimate around 5 syns
    Prosecco 10
May go over the syns a bit today, but will cut back during the week when I don't ususally spend them.

Also going to make use of the weather and have a nice walk along the cliffs this afternoon so get some steps in

  • Trying to warm up after parkrun this morning which I finished almost 3 hours ago! Think it's a menopause thing. Good excuse to crawl into bed with a hot water bottle for a wee while.

Muslim panto was brilliant last night. We didn't have high expectations but it was hilarious. Haven't laughed so much for ages. Beauty and the Balaah (beast in Urdu maybe?). The cast were great including Amjad from Citizen Khan who stole the show. Went for food afterwards and I ended up with a chicken breast burger. Turned out to be fried but it was bloody delicious!
I've run 20km+ in the last week so I'm not too bothered.
No WI for me next week because I'm away. Need to make sure that I stick to plan where possible but when I'm away and then when my sister is over, I'm just going to enjoy some food.

    Your poor DH @joedenise xx
Now fancying choc donuts - thanks @bubbs lol
Muslim panto sounds fun @NornIronRose x

First of the new early sessions today - got there at 7.30am and there was a queue of around 10 most wishing to re-join, so had to sort new packs and offer CD and deal with Pay. My Pay buddy was there just after 7.30am. Bless her she knocked a whole cup of coffee on the Pay table - soaked some books but I think they are still usable. We had 62 over the two groups. NGL getting up at 6am was a killer but nice to be finished earlier. I am not there next week but might weigh the week after.

Have been to have my nails done. Wasn't best pleased with the last girl who did them as they only lasted 10 days before chipping (gel nails) and not like I was out anywhere over Christmas! Got a neutral colour this time with my usual girl, so hoping for better things.

Dinner tonight is a use up of Christmas bits - cheese, crackers, pickles, olives and a quiche between 4 of us. Not great but I'm not wasting food. DH is cooking roast venison tomorrow as the outlaws are coming (roll out the red carpet....) He has gone off in search of juniper berries, not....even....joking......

I have juniper berries @Coxy11! I got mine in Sainsburys. Friend and I went for a drink in the Park Plaza after that super Agatha Christie play in County Hall. They served juniper berries in the G&Ts so I bought us each a jar as a happy memory. Hope your DH finds them. 😁

Prosecco is a good SW choice @MrsPorridge as it's quite low syn compared with other wines. 👍 You'll soon rein that back during the week.

Pantomime sounds great fun @NornironRose. Glad you had a good night out.

It's been bright and dry here too @joedenise. I haven't been anywhere but it does lift the spirits.

Prepped tomorrow's dinner and tonight's while listening to the football so ahead of myself.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried eggs and bacon (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad bits and pickles (S)
    D- chicken curry (P, S), HM pilau (F)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁

    Evening all

Sorry out of luck i snaffled the doughnuts 🤣🤣

Well you know me nothing is bloody easy!! Went for hair cut then went Corby looking for some bargains 😂 we came out of Asda and my tyre was as flat as a pancake 😫 so we then had to go and buy a pump! Went back in asda and bought one you plug in cigarette lighter, no air was going in the tyre! So went to halfords and bought a manual one, dh did that while i walked to the tyre place as was concerned  in would shut at lunchtime, he said no, bring it round, i said hopefully some air will stay in it!
I limped it round there and they had 2 tyres cheapest was £117!!! so my bargain day didn't happen, ended up spending a fortune 🙄
But like DH said if it didn't happen there would have happened somewhere else as there was a nail in it!

So all i have eaten today is pitta pizza hexb and hexa, bns chips and salad

  • Expensive tyre bubbs!

Glad your early group was a success Coxy.

I've had a decent day foodwise so far. Banana before parkrun then a cup of tea and a skinny dream (1/2 hexb) in bed as I was too cold to stand in the kitchen and do anything.
Lunch was a sweetcorn (lots of corn) omelette with half hexa reduced fat cheese.
Dinner was mash with half hexa spread cheese triangles ( great tip guys!) With baked beans, egg and 2 veggie sausages (3 syns).
So I still have half hexb and hexa left. Plus syns.

Need to get up and do stuff but have a cat on me so...

Evening all, well done on the loss (again 😁) @bubbs tho expensive day out having to get a new tyre.

A wee half pound gain this morning which makes a total of 2.5 gain over the festive period. I’ll take that 😁. Bought the 12 week countdown so hoping this will keep me motivated and shift a good bit. I’ve a stone and a half to reach target.

Met friends for lunch and went to our usual Italian cafe. Had a huge bowl of pasta with spicy sausage in tomato sauce. No idea the syns but expecting its high due to sausage and oil in sauce but not having anything else tonight. Refused the garlic focaccia and had Americano instead of the usual milky coffees so feeling I made an effort.
