    Hi all,

Like @joedenise I was up at 3am for the loo but thankfully I managed to get back to sleep. Painful kidney/lower back this morning but getting slowly better and now only one more grim sachet of meds to take when I get home. We have DS1s dog from today until 15 January as he’s gone to Mauritius with his future ILs, so doggie will be my therapy when I get home J

Dinner tonight is SW easy chicken curry from the 50 Golden Greats book – an old favourite and very tasty. There will be a couple of portions leftover which will form lunches tomorrow. Today I bought overnight oats, 2 satsumas (shouldn’t really have acidic food but don’t want to waste them), an apple and a portion of massaman curry from the freezer.

Tonight I’m going to assemble fish pie for tomorrow night’s tea. DH is never keen on fish pie and would definitely never make it. This will be using mixed fish – salmon, smoked haddock and cod. If I make it he only has to heat it up and cook the veg – simples.

Hope you’re feeling better @Jellybaby xx

Terrible flood photos @bubbs – hope you’re okay? Xx

Definitely makes a difference to have a friend in group and a good consultant that you can gel with @NornIronRose. Our group has a very friendly feel but it’s not always the case.

I don’t reckon I eat enough – definitely could do with more speed. But I’m attempting to use up leftovers and not spend any money for the next couple of weeks so where I’d usually nip to the supermarket and grab something like prepped fruit, I’m holding onto my purse. Luckily I don’t have to weight in for a little while yet.

Welcome @Sarahwithlove – good to see you here and please keep on posting – we are a friendly bunch and it’s good to keep the momentum up between weekly group time.

    Have a good evening everyone,

    Coxy

Welcome @Sarahwithlove. I hope you can find the inspiration you need. As it's your first week, do ask any questions you have about the plan. You'll find plenty of support and tips on here. 😊

In case you didn't get an answer, I found pop(corn) chicken in M&S at 1 syn per piece @beanielou. Is that what you want? 🤔

I want to be 100% back on plan from today as my SW week goes from a Thursday. I'm going to keep a food diary as I find writing down the syns (subtracting from 105), really helpful for keeping me focused.

It's absolutely hammering down here. Hope all OK with you @bubbs. I think you said your current place is higher up than those photos.

My local Farmfoods had Frylight at 99p today. I bought the last 3 but manager told me more should be delivered tomorrow and 🤞he'll try and keep me some.

Enjoy having the dog to stay @Coxy11. I do envy your DS going to Mauritius. 😎🌞

As you don't do Christmas and had that amazing loss @NornironRose, I think you should treat yourself in the next couple of weeks especially when your sister comes to stay. It wouldn't be very sociable going to bed with Sugar Puffs when you have a visitor. 🤣 Just do your best, it's not easy when eating out.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L - Spanish omelette (P, F, S), pickles (S)
    D- chicken casserole (P, F, S), greens (S)
    Syns - cornflour 1

Welcome @Sarahwithlove, glad you decided to join us.  Just ask if you have any questions - there's usually someone around who can help with any queries.

@Coxy11 - sounds like you could do with getting some antibiotics if you're still having pain - it should have cleared up by now.

Hi all, hope everyone is safe, the floods are awful in so many areas, frightening photos @bubbs
Welcome @Sarahwithlove lovely helpful people here.
@Coxy11 sorry that you are still not well, nasty painful condition. @Jellybaby hope you too are feeling better now.
Great loss @NornIronRose I hope the no drinking is going well.
@maman I think I will try the reverse counting of Syns this week as I think today's totting up is accurate.

WI Tuesday confirmed my thoughts that I am out of range, hopefully I will get back in2 weeks max. My only Body Magic is walking, average well down through the worst of the rain, but trying hard to do more.

Good to hear from you @maddiemay. It doesn't sound like a huge gain for the time of year. Good luck seeing it off! 🤞

Are you going away this year when you have to move out @bubbs? 🤔 Hope WI goes well.
