Well the items taken from the loft at the weekend of Christmas cake decorations were delivered to another resident on site where parents now live. They were very well received too, that made me happy.
Have an item probably sold but lady not able to pay till her pay day. Fingers crossed that gets completed as it is a bulky item.
Designated 2 of the smallest envelopes from the plentiful stash for 2 lots of different collected seeds. Wow go me

Good Morning chums, last night DD and I were chatting about our endeavours for decluttering, and how well we had done over the past 5-6 months since we decided to up sticks and move.
Both our houses combined now into one larger house in our forever place of our dreams the beautiful IoW at last.
We said we would think up some slogans to incentivise us and anyone else so here we decided were a few
1. Move it out MONDAY
2. Chuck it out TUESDAY (as previously said)
3.Weed it out WEDNESDAY (useful for garden bits and pieces)
4.Throw it away THURSDAY
5.Fling it out FRIDAY
6.Sling it away SATURDAY
7. Save it Sunday (this is for finding a place for the bits you've kept) and sorting food stashes
Needless to say we had a bit of a giggle thinking them upanyone else do daft things like this, it helps to concentrate your mind I think, and we have become serious declutterers.
We do try to find homes for stuff that's recyclable, or can be reused but there are times when you really have to think
Hmm not used or thought about this for 3-6 months why am I cluttering up my life and home with things I really don't need
Move them on to someone who perhaps needs or wants them or can use them and it makes you both feel better for it
Last night I decluttered a great deal of unwanted paperwork daft things really and why they just got tucked away in the course of the move into boxes I've not got a clue
Also binned were 3 odd gloves ? how can I lose gloves so often ?
Today being 'Throw it away THURSDAY here goes
To the charity shop bag I binned a pair of brown furry trimmed gloves that I've never actually worn that were given to me about 10 years ago as a present. I have never worn brown since I was a brownie in the early 1950swhy on earth did I keep them.
6 paperbacks to go to the Tesco charity bookshelf at my local large Tesco at Westridge.I have a paperback bag for those which I keep in my car, so when I go there on a Friday for odds and ends they will be in the bag I get my shopping in so they will go on the shelf before I shop
I keep finding bits and thinking I really don't need this so its gotta goand its gone recycled ,donated or into the black rubbish bag for the tip
Only 10.25 a.m. and I'm on a roll already:)
JackieO xx
PS DGD Katie and family have been moved to Sunday for their trip to Disney World ,fingers crossed

First stop was CEX with the games - offered pennies but as I just wanted rid said OK but cancelled after they asked for the 1st six digits of my bank card having already got my full name 😖 Naturally I asked why - response was ‘company policy’ - No thanks 🙂↔️ Took the 11 video games to CS who were happy to accept them together with 6 empty CLEAR DVD cases, 4 scarves, pair of waterproof over trousers, bubblewrap, four pairs of long warm socks, lidded mug & and a rolling pin. Then I had a look around & was tempted by the display of yarn 😂 After a brief contemplation of how much yarn I already have (about 80 balls), six 100g balls of yarn & 2 packs of Christmas cards accidentally fell into my non-existent basket 🤣
That is weird that they asked for first six digits of your bank card. Account number and sort code should have been sufficient to make a inward payment.11 -
Hi. Long time lurker here, coming out of the woodwork. Really appreciate all you OSers. Brilliant tips and advice. Spend far too much time reading all your posts and not enough time declutterring! Had to join in to answer a recent post from @QueenJess. I had similar issues to you re TOM. My lovely doctor suggested a Merina Coil. It was brilliant. No more pain, no more periods. Saved me from having a hysterectomy at the time. Please discuss with your GP and I hope you get some relief. Thanks everyone. Keep up the good work14

Hi all, just a quick post to update as OH has a late start today so has been demanding attention and keeps interrupting me
. So yesterday I took 50 plastic wallets, some craft stuff and 3 bags of union goodies to hand over to a couple of ex colleagues who still work in the school. I also uu a bottle of perfume finally. I do have a few bottles but rarely used to use perfume when I was working as some of the pupils on the spectrum found it a distraction and one stimulation too far
now I always wear some if I am going out of the house. My next bottle is waiting to be opened
. I called in to OH's house, checked the boiler is ok and put the ironing board into the car. On the way home I called into the sm for a few bits so they have been put away but the ironing board is still in the car
. I took the cover off our ironing board and it joined the washing mountain and the board is is ready to go to the tip. I will take it tomorrow as I have a chiropodist appointment in the same direction.
Despite the interruptions I have just put the 5th load of washing on the line, the underwear and socks are on the maiden as I was running out of room. Although it is on the cold side the sun is out and there is a gentle breeze, not the hurricane forecast by the beeb website
. I usually check this website first thing and on looking out of the window at the gently swaying trees I was initially a bit flummoxed, that doesn't look like 500mph wind, then I heard on the radio they had a glitch on the website
. While I don't mind a brisk breeze I have to say I am very glad I am not in Florida right now
.
@QueenJess your Mum is very lucky to have such a tolerant daughter, hugs. As for the menopause symptoms I would second the suggestion of a visit to the gp to look at some options, there are things that can help, hugs.
@machasraven hugs and healing thoughts
@Vulpix good luck with the next jabs. Thinking cap on but nothing has presented itself yet
@Mrs SD I too would have walked away from CEX my policy is to not give out that sort of information unless I am buying. Love the new yarn, I would have found it hard to resist even though I have enough to keep me busy for a good while. It is a bit worrying Dsis has found somewhere to buy things and wants to visit again
. Maybe you need to instigate a one in one out rule
@Moorviews hugs
@London_1 love the naming of the days
Right better get some lunch and as OH has finally gone out to work I will find something to "throw away"
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Queen Jess, please consider going to your GP (and ask for referral to your nearest Meno clinic). There is no need to struggle on.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

tc77 love it!
QueenJess I started on Boots 'menopause plus support tablets' and luckily for me within 3 days they made a huge difference. I think they have a slightly different name now. I know I was lucky to try the one that supplied what my body needed at first try. I know others who have had to try a few different tablets till they found one that helped them.
Its all about something supplying what your body needs or conversely cutting out something that's exacerbating your symptoms. It might be a tablet, food, exercise, meditation, being outdoors. Keep trying and hopefully you will find something for you.
