38/52 - 5 books to cashback site.
39/52 - another 5 books to cashback site.
Grand total of just over £3 but very convenient way to declutter. They even picked them up.
40/52 - a large thick jumper that I very much liked but was no longer fit for charity recycling to the bin.14 -
Really getting stuck into extra decluttering and the last of the neutral items will also be leaving tomorrow. Really looking forward to the new kitchen, it’s the stress I don’t like when it is being done
341) items found of DMs, sent on to a relative who wanted them
342) debated with this, a vase that was given to me 26 years ago. Dauntie and Duncle have now died and I thought now was the time to let it go and let someone else have some joy. Not glass just a basic ceramic blue one…..let’s just say it didn’t survive the dishwasher and ended up being binned
343) OOD medical stuff-binned and box recycled
344)-347) Dun elm bags of joy x 4 dropped off today that included brand new PJs still in their packaging that have sat in a cupboard for years-now going to a good cause and opened up and used a BN mens toiletry set where the packaging was extremely damaged but items inside wee fine and brilliant for one of the bags. Didn’t even know I had the men’s set, it has just been stashed. So happy the bits inside will be put to good use.
348)-357) items x 10 to CS tomorrow including two clothing items, a book, pet ornaments, mugs358) paperwork sorted and shredded
359) big bag of soft plastics to supermarket
360) part of a dented water bottle-recyclingDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friday is a bright sunny day, although ashamed to say that I missed a lot of it as I didn’t get up until 12:30 😔 I really need to get my sleep pattern sorted as per No.2 of my stated aims - less than 3 months to do it in 2024 😥 I do have a load in the wm. I menu planned for the next few days & wrote a shopping list for DH. He & DSis left about 13:45. I have spent some time on clearing down my in box - reading articles & trying to keep up with the world 😉 DH got some driving practice as he drove to & from sm 🙂 as DSis was feeling a bit rough after her jabs yesterday 😞 (The ‘Covid jab’ arm is very painful so every time she laid on it in bed she woke up, so is very tired) I put away all the shopping immediately. Just watched the 2nd episode of Series 1 GBBO & love the baking tips that are given at the start of each episode 😊 I have dealt with a bit more paperwork & recycled 0.5” of paper. Spent the rest of the afternoon watching Law & Order. DH fed the birds & the worms. Dinner was fish in breadcrumbs, oven chips & peas. Wudupa.

Forgot to say, the guy who bought the drawers insisted in giving me £10 extra.
After plenty of messing about , the display cupboard thing is due to be picked up soon.
I am having covid and flu vaccines shortly, not looking forward to it as I still have new potato in my arm from the shingles jab.( was a king Edward) If they give me a no egg vaccine I don't get hot potato arm. Worth your sister asking next time Mrs SD. I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but if it's available it's worth it.
I live near a canal and there is a monthly makers market there today, I never buy anything because although the goods are beautiful I just have no room for lovely handmade artefacts. Surprisingly the food stalls do not cater for Vegans. These sort of places are usually great for vegan foods. It helps me though, I am still on my diet, going well so far. I have lost the weight I found in Shetland.
Ironing frog eaten yesterday. that's the summer clothes ironed and put away till next year. Not much ironing is done over winter. It's mostly hoodies and sweatshirts at this house.
What I did do yesterday was read, all day and evening with only a break for Gardeners world. I am trying to finish a couple of books to return to DS when he visits next. He is very well read and gives me books I have heard of but never read. I must say the last 2 were hard going. The wasp factory, I hated. Supertramp I am finding very dull. It's like medicine, they must be doing me good.
The time wasting bloke is here, now not sure. I could have sold this thing 20 times over and he is still messing about.

Covid and flu jab today and DD put the washing machine that came with the house on Facebook and a chap collected it within an hour, plus she had a small chest freezer in the front garage that worked but now the children have all grown and flown there is only three of us so she asked the chap if he wanted it as well and he said yes please so two large items decluttered
My son in law had fitted their own washing machine in so the one that came with the house was surplus
The chap who collected both things was delighted as the washing machine was a Hitpount and the chest freezer was still in good condition and worked fine we just didn’t use it and it had been in the garage since we moved here in July
Better than going in a skip or to landfill and one very happy chappy with a free washing machine and freezer

Good afternoon from a very dull & overcast Isle of Dogs - high of 15°C forecast. Having gone to bed so late, I only got up 12:30 😔 DH has gone out for a walk - he left just before it started raining. I have finished the laundry but had to resort to using the td 😞 & have done nothing else apart from nap & watch a horror film called Candyman (2021) - I find it best to watch horror films in the daylight 😂
QueenJess, sorry I missed the hm pear & chocolate dessert & hm ice cream that you provided on Wednesday - that will teach me to fall behind on the cheerleading 😉 I rather like your idea of using up consumables so good luck reaching your target 🍀 I honestly thought that your parents had finally started to come around as I seem to remember you mentioning one visit when they brought hardly anything 😔 Please feel to ‘rant’ or as you should say “express my feelings to people who will actually listen” Lots of cwtches coming your way 🤗 to accompany those from Fizz2015 & vulpix 😊
Great decluttering Fizz2015 👏 Hope you can enjoy working from home on Friday 🤞
Nice to see you machasraven 👋 Please remember to spend lots of time in the TLC Carriage whilst you heal & recover from your gruelling treatment 🙏 Meanwhile I am sending lots of very gentle cwtches 🤗
vulpix, sorry to hear that you were still experiencing a reaction from your Shingles jab 😔 Excellent decluttering to DD1 👏 Please do be careful when manhandling the heavy garden furniture 🙏 Great work decluttering cleaning supplies 👏 & do enjoy the space created 😉 Hopefully the people who have put in the offer on your Mum’s house will be able to sell their house speedily 🤞 Here’s hoping you find lots of ‘treasure’ in the attic 🙂
ruby_eskimo, seems an odd arrangement at CEX & to add to my annoyance there was an email waiting for me when I got home 😔 It has gone straight into junk mail as I can see no way to unsubscribe & I cannot bear the thought of ever going back into the shop 😱
Lovely post Moorviews 😊 Excellent work keeping up with your decluttering 👏
Great work 2Scratters 👏 Always nice to see happy recipients of your decluttering 😊 Fingers crossed that the lady does pick up the bulky item 🤞
London_1, Excellent decluttering by both you & DD 👏 You have both been invigorated by moving to your beloved Isle of Wight 😊 It must be something in the air 😉 Love the slogans 😊 Fingers crossed for DGD Katie’s holiday 🤞
crazybunnylady4, even weirder as I was going to be paid in cash - it really was only pennies 😰
Lovely to see you Duchess2 👋 Very useful information for QueenJess. Hopefully you will pop out of lurkdom once in a while to let us know how you are getting on with your decluttering 🤞 We love to see new faces 😊
Will post this as I need to make dinner 😉 See you later 👋
