Hi Folks,
I like the wool Mrs SD. I am wondering what to make with the lovely wool Floss has given me.
My shed emptied by Mr V whilst I made a massive pan of veggie stew. Opticians cupboard now upstairs, had to get a neighbour to help take it up, it weighs a ton. Other cabinet sold on FB, being collected tomorrow. or I hope it is, I accidentally deleted the conversation with the buyer! Garden furniture tucked up in my shed for the winter.
I can see the Aurora, very pink.
Frog Friday for me tomorrow.

Thursday: Another dry overcast start to the day & definitely cooler with a forecast high of just 13°C & a chilly breeze. I was up at 10:30 & now sitting here snuggled up in my fluffy dressing gown drinking my first cuppa 🙂 I sorted a little bit of paperwork & watched the very first episode of The Great British Bake Off. Loved the format & loved that the tent travelled around the U.K. 😊 Spent a few minutes going through the top section of my jewellery box & managed to declutter 3 brooches to my DSis + boxed up 7 brooches/pin badges to donate to CS.
DH went out for a walk & DSis went out to pick up some prescriptions meds & managed to get her flu & Covid jabs whilst she was waiting 😉 DH ordered in - burgers & fries which were very disappointing but filled a gap. Wudupa.
1787 - 1790 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, newspaper, cardboard packaging - recycling
1791 - 1794 Three brooches to DSis + brooch to friend

It stayed dry all day. Apologies for falling behind with the cheerleading - I will try harder tomorrow 😉 Sleep tight 😴

How lovely @florianatwobob and @daisy_1571! I am envious as although I don’t have light pollution we did have cloudy conditions. It must have cleared during the night though as it got cold so it will be interesting to see if anyone puts up pictures locally.@Liverpool_Anne - thank you 😊15

Loving all the northern lights pictures but like you @Moorviews we didn't see them. Everyone else in the village did apart from our road and the next if facebook is to be believed!

Hi all, I didn't see the northern lights eitner, much too much light pollution by my house although I did pop out into the garden a few times. Yesterday I got all the washing dry except the underwear and socks that were on the maiden but should be dry by this evening as OH has decided it is time for the heating to be on, I turn it off when I am home alone as I am not cold atm
so 5 LDFPA and I had a hunt around and threw various bits of carp into the bin but not enough to fill any though a couple might get done today
This morning I have been to my chiropodist appointment and taken the ironing board to the tip, they are now on winter hours so only open until 5. I am having a cuppa and a ponder while listening to the radio. I am building up to tackling the ironing pile so I will probably find an excuse to delay it for at least an hour
.
@TC77 I love that cartoon and I have had to work really hard to stop accummulating more craft stuff as I can definitely see the possibilities in just about everything
@Mrs SD the cs should be very happy with those. I have a couple of brooches that I don't wear very often as I don't have many coats with lapels but I did wear one to the wedding that I rediscovered when I was sorting out what jewellery I was going to wear. I should sort it all out as there are probably some things that I won't wear and could be passed along
@florianatwobob and @daisy_1571 lovely pictures, very jealousthis is on my bucket list
Ok time to seriously look at the ironing, only look mind
Hugs to everyone who would like one
1530 -1534 LDFPA
Take care everyone

Great photos of the mirrie dancers as Shetlanders call them. A beautiful name for them I think.
Nice brooches Mrs SD. I think it's about time brooches had a renaissance. Says the woman who rarely wears a coat, or any type of clothing that would look nice with a brooch.
I am all for Christmas lights Floss.Never too early for me, I am Mrs Christmas.
Let the frog nibbling commence.
