5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Up late again 😔 DH woke me at 12:20 to say goodbye as he & my DSis are off on a jaunt in the car 😉 Now that I have laundered his motorcycle trousers they are dropping them off for repair in Aldershot - 2 hours each way. Tuesday is currently dry but dark & dreary - no rain forecast but you never know. As an aside, I was very brave when I went to bed & managed to trap the frighteningly large spider (I had thought my DDis was exaggerating it’s size) that was in the bath & safely disposed of him/her by throwing out of the bathroom window 😥 I have just dusted & tidied the coffee table + filed all DSis’s paperwork. Half a dozen empty envelopes + 2 newspapers recycled. Did about 2 hours of electronic decluttering. Tried to vacuum downstairs only to discover that the ‘roller brush’ doesn’t rotate 😔 DH will have a look tomorrow & see if he can repair 🤞 DH & DSis arrived back about 17:30 having come back via the sm 😉Dinner was a ‘use up’ - pre-cooked chicken warmed through in a lo white sauce from the freezer, fried lo Dauphinoise potatoes, last few potatoes boiled & the last of a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. Surprisingly tasty & I created a couple of spaces in both the fridge & the freezer 🥳
1664 - 1672 Kitchen recycling, paper recycling, 2 newspapers, 3 magazines, plastic bottle, drinks cans - recycled
1673 - 1674 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned

short_bird, I haven’t read the book so will keep an eye out for it 🙂
vulpix, not sure that I would agree about not doing much on Monday 🤨 Remember that dealing with frogs always counts at least double 😉 Hope you managed to get your driving licence renewed finally 🙏 Fingers crossed that the 2nd viewing on your mum’s house gets the ball rolling with an offer 🤞Good luck with the sales 🍀 & I hope you have a lovely few days away 😊
Lovely post Liverpool_Anne 😊Hopefully there will be good weather for the wedding on Saturday 🙏 I am sending a request into the ether for a dry, bright day with temperatures in the low to mid 20’s C 🤞Everything crossed that the parcel turned up earlier in the day rather than later 🤞
London_1, ouch to the dentist visit & the hit on your finances 😣 Get well soon 🙏
Nice to see you Crazycatlady2 👋 When I read this “Been very busy but feel like I'm not doing enough at same time...it's overwhelming tbh” I understood completely 😉 However, please try to celebrate your successes 🙏 Excellent decluttering 👏 & good luck with your move next month 🍀

Morning All, hugs to those who need them.
Positive steps in getting meetings for support with DD.
They say things happen in three's, hit a kerb and needed a new tyre, went for a walk, slipped and ended flat on my back, luckily a couple nearby helped me up and I am ok now just bit achy.. Then discovered boiler leaking and no hot water, friend fixed it for free. OH has offered his services in return. Thankful all fixable and keeping smiling and pushing through.
DD gave 6 books to a friend yesterday. My whole house is still a decluttering work in progress, I'll keep trying and one day might win!14 -
One medical frog completed yesterday - I 'd been putting it off for weeks.
Another medical frog and a home maintenance frog are next on the list to tackle.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14 -
Liverpool Anne, you have a lovely weekend to come. Many happy returns for Sunday. Xx That reminds me , I must check if the apples on my baby trees are ready.
London 1, you are doing exactly the right thing by putting your feet up. X
Nice to see everyone again, and hear how you have all been getting on.
The house viewing went very well. The woman is going to organise a survey.
Visited Mum and did loads of errands for her. One step forward with the building society shambles. I will pick up the baton again next week. Same with trying to renew my driving license.
Decided on my next craft project and got everything together for it. Not completely finished the advent calendar as I need to cut the dowel and drill out some wooden knobs to stick on the ends. I am not buying cord for hanging until I look in the cupboard at craft club.People donate stuff to us and I think I have seen some cord in there.
Off to Sheffield shortly to pick up a big van for our road trip.
Take care all Vx:14 -
New (to me) mouse finally set up after 3 months of sitting in its box beside me on my desk. Doesn't work quite as it should be it's an improvement over the old mouse whose buttons didn't all work. Will continue to monitor cex website to see if they get any more of these as they aren't made anymore (contour XL left hand) and I know they generally last about 5 years or so. When I get a spare the older half broken one will be binned.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Are you keeping up?🤣🤣🤣🤣 You will probably drive in striding distance of chateau Vulpix but thre will only be cats in residence. Vx:15

as the crime writer Stuart MacBride says it’s roundabouts and traffic is quite a problem at times 🤣 he sets his ‘Logan McRae books in the granite city.
great airport though and so easy to pick a car up from and drop off afterwards. Driving up from deepest Kent it worked out cheaper to fly from City airport to Aberdeen then hire for several days.9
