mehefin glad to see you on the train and hope you take things easy. I've put some baked apples with sultanas, cinnamon, butter and brown sugar into the tlc carriage.I was about to go to bed, but I was walking out the bedroom door and the biggest spider I've ever seen jumped off the wall and landed on the laundry basket next to me with an actual *thud*. I'm now weirdly very awake...Been stupidly busy at work and barely had time for anything the past week, but I am happy to report that I did zero tidying before DH's parents came round and I was not embarrased at all bby the house. No... I haven't dropped my standards that much, but the mess was mainly upstairs and I could put it back together in 30 mins. Yay for having less stuff!I am still decimating my wardrobe and there is now a massive pile of hangers unused in there. I will have to buy the odd thing this winter (I'm particularly low on jumpers for some reason), but there's so much that I don't fit in to, don't wear because it is [edit: uncomfortable/not really my style/doesn't fit properly]. Hopefully I will be left with not many clothes, but will only have ones I absolutely love. At least my tired brain enjoys online virtual shopping, but I now have high standards and will only get and keep things that I absolutely love.Digital:New total = 16,469

Hi,
Floriana, I can't say radiotherapy was unpleasant at all. It doesn't hurt. I was just fatigued, which lasted a while after the therapy was completed.x
£6.75 for a piece of dowelling, £6.75 ! crafting is not money saving. Although I did buy 4 cushions from the £1 chazzer for the inners. I tried to wash the covers so I could donate them but can't get some marks off. Fabric recycling for them. I have Christmas fabric to use for the cushion covers or some nice big scraps from the last quilt I made. I will probably give them away once made. I thought I could also make some Christmas bunting for DIL to use up some stash.
Vx

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I did join DH in the office & together we finished sorting the last 3 shelves in the wall unit + the display shelves i.e. everything visible 🥳 Plus we have sorted & rearranged the contents of two 6 drawer filing cabinets & labelled all the drawers. See pic re type of filing cabinet
Finally we vacuumed. We generated another carrier bag of detritus & one of recycling, another small bag of items to be returned to the garage & a small pile of stuff for the CS. The office looks great 🤩 We have 4 empty shelves in the large wall unit, several empty cubby holes in the display unit + half the long wall length desk is clear 🥳 The only Major decluttering projects are the mobile plastic filing cabinet - 3 deep drawers full of cabling & photography items + a large crate with more cables & a few books. Several small projects - dealing with a small pile of papers, testing a box of batteries, then tackling various box files of paperwork, photographs, mementoes etc.which can be done as & when 😉 However, everything is corralled & like with like. Two hours well spent 😊 Tomorrow the intention is to tackle the back of the garage 🤞 Tonight’s dinner was spaghetti bolognaise. DSis & I have settled down to watch SCD - several of the celebs are actually quite good 👍 As in previous years, the footballer is pretty bad 😉 DSis & I are getting very grumpy about SCD - mainly all the whooping & hollering by the dancers. My main bugbear this year is that all the female celebs have the same body type 😔 Wudupa.
1645 - 1650 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, magazine, empty wine bottle, drinks cans, office recycling - recycled

Having had a couple of light showers during the evening, once past midnight it has rained steadily for the last 3.5 hours 😔 Just noticed the time, so in an attempt to get up earlier I will post this & head to bed. Sleep tight 😴

Floriana, ditto Floss, just basically told to turn up which I did. Was a great surprise to get a tattoo, but even that is like having your ears pierced but less painful, very quick. No one actually said you will be getting a tattoo!, just marking where the machine needs to line up to. This was in the olden days though, and they are very tiny, like a freckle. No one mentioned to me about cream but I do remember smelling of cooked cabbage cos I had a cabbage leaf in my bra.
Google breast cancer cabbage leaves. Cold cabbage leaves are lovely when you have a hot boob. Honestly radiotherapy is not a difficult thing to endure, your sister has nothing to worry about.xx

Well an up week for me on stuff going out the house by whatever means. Collected by FB free page was 3 x 50litre bags of bubble wrap someone asked for, a pin board also asked for which made it really easy for me to let go of. A Radley handbag and small suitcase collected as promised. There is a bit more space in the loft that I can see. We have finally listed an expensive & large item, we'll see how that goes, if at all.
I even started and finished a job completely something I never manage to do as I get distracted and move onto something else. I think we all have a bit some of the spectrum traits without realising. I'd watched a YT podcast of Joshua Becker and what he said about never getting things finished completely actually has a name. It made so much sense why the brain does not switch off when something is incomplete. So this morning I completed a task of no particular importance - I say that it was a landmark thing for me as it was 2 pillowcases I had handstitched including French seams taught to me by grandma and could see all the hard work and time done making them only to dismantle the lace or tatting which adorned one edge of each which I have saved to either reuse or pass on. The cotton was badly stained and damaged (they were made from bed sheets) so now for DH's rag bag in his workshop/shed.
There are small areas of space appearing. Only visible to me, as stuff was stored away so not exactly in anyone's face. The loft needs a hoover after the roof work as there is considerable dirty dust about.
Hugs to those who need or want one.

There's still some baked apples in the tlc carriage left (lovely warmed up with some greek yogurt). Please form an orderly queue for some chocolate chip butter biscuits hot out of the oven.A few more wardrobe things tried on today and I let DH know I used the charity bag he wanted as he said he had lots of clothes to go through and get rid of. He sounded quite relieved until I told him "don't worry, I actually still have two others"! We live in hope. I have a double wardrobe and DH uses 2 double wardrobes that are rammed full. Not to mention the massive box of "extra" shoes that are hanging around...DD is very well trained as she came across some toy buses whilst she was playing and said "I don't want these anymore". Sadly they aren't leaving the house as DS has adopted them instead.Digital:

Hi everyone.
I've had a few birthday presents in, including a bird bath for the garden.
I've started Christmas shopping so bits are coming in that will eventually go out again.
I finally managed to rehomed the staff today and that went out this morning.
Sorry to hear that people are poorly and having to have serious treatment for things.
Sending hugs.Decluttering campaign 2023

Well I have cleared out another bin bag of craft bits. Some binned and some to craft group. The house is getting cluttered again with donations, to craft group and stuff for Christmas fair. Have been sorting out a large donation of lace and fabric which I have cut into saleable pieces for a haberdashery sale. I bag of bits has left house so counting that too. The storeroom at community club has a cupboard that I would like to comendere but it is full of books that another commitee member is supposed to be removing! More coming in than going out at the moment! My craft stuff fills the house at Christmas anyway without all the extras. Maybe I just need a bigger house!!!!craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
