Have an unplanned declutter coming up....bought a dress at Tesco to take on holiday. Only £10 but nice, light and summery. Tried it on a couple of times and while not perfect thought it would do so did my usual and cut off the tags, including the annoying cutting label at the neck. Night of our anniversary when I was dressing up special I, of course, popped my new dress on. Got to the car and went to sit and realised the security device was still attached and no way could I remove it or sit on it for an entire meal. So back it will go to Tesco and I will be asking for a complete refund as I only bought it for that holiday and that's now over. Wish me luck!!
Also on holiday discovered that the second pair of sandals I took with me no longer fit. (swollen feet) So will try them on again now that we're at sea level and not baking hot and see if they are worth keeping. Hi all, sorry not posted for a couple of days mainly because very little done
. After watching the football on Saturday I have to admit to falling asleep on the couch for a couple of hours but the kitchen bin was emptied after a whizz around to fill it
. On Sunday we went to a friends birthday celebrations so the pepper plant in the pot plus a card from stash was taken along with a rather nice notebook and pen from my stash for her granddaughter who is 10 going on 100 and likes to write a sort of journal. We had a lovely time catching up with friends and spent most of the day sat in the garden eating and chatting
. The bathroom bin was emptied. Yesterday the weather was very changeable, sunshine and showers, nothing done in the garden and not much else either. The bedroom bin, bedroom recycling and kitchen recycling were emptied and a pile of insulation stuff that the workmen next door had put over the fence so ln could put her bins out and then left there were covered in a tarp to keep dry. In is having work done on a grant, loft insulation, internal wall insulation and a new boiler. The workmen are very nice and seem to be very considerate but it has been over a week now and I think she's getting a bit fed up of it all now.
The book for my dnephew arrived too late to be posted on but it was wrapped up from stash with a card from stash and has been posted off this morning. I got a text from a friend we had spent a long time with on Sunday to say she had just tested positive for covid so we are playing a waiting game now to see if we have it, luckily we were outside for most of the time so fingers crossed we are ok. Justin I picked up a couple of loaves today while I was out. When I got home I did some more chopping in the garden, 1 bag of garden waste into the bin and repotted a blackcurrant plant that I got half price to keep it going until I can get it in the ground. When it started raining I tackled the bathroom, needed a good scrub and binned 2 toothbrushes OH was keeping for?????. Then down to the kitchen and some rubble from the work surface binned while I put tea on and the kitchen bin emptied.
I managed to contact Dniece today who has finally got the internet back, she is hopefully going to phone back later.
Tea is calling so I will post this now before I lose it
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Floss that's a great idea for 2 scratters
2scratters its hard when you feel you are at it every day. No time to plan, no time to rest, sense of always being behind. Maybe take a couple of 'days off'. Not actual days off. Just don't give yourself any tasks. Sit and talk to your folks if you are there or your sister. Not sure what you are doing there aceh day, but only do that, dont try to tidy or sort or anything. Taking the pressure off might either give you a bit head space to come at it next week or else it actually might let you get on with something. (Sorry, can't be more specifically helpful since I've forgotten what your set up is)
Cclady glad you had a little personal toast to fill today. Hugs xx

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday started quite dull & cloudy with a chilly breeze (10:20) It did brighten up during the day, although it only reached 22C 😔 I have done precisely nothing all day apart from watch TV - 6 of the 8 episodes of Season 2 of House of the Dragon & they killed off my favourite character in episode 4 🙁 Home cooked steak burgers in buns with oven cooked fries 😋 Wudupa
1374 - 1377 Kitchen & DSis bedroom recycling, drinks cans, glass bottle - recycled
1378 - 1379 Kitchen & DSis bedroom detritus - binned
weenancy, I had been hoping that the temperatures had cooled down a bit for you 😔 That is way too hot to be working in a room with no air conditioning 🥵 I am still in a state of shock that your upstairs roommates actually did some decluttering 😱 Hope your appointment goes/went well 🙏 & Good luck to Di for Thursday 🍀
2Scratters, sounds like a lovely weekend 😊 I think you are being very hard on yourself - you must be exhausted being with your parents 4/5 days a week & it does sound like your DB is not pulling his weight 😔 I am sending you many, many cwtches 🤗
Great work vulpix 👏 Any idea what type of cruise 😉
What a great idea Floss 😊
Crazycatlady2, excellent decluttering in two locations 👏🤩
Just noticed the time so am off to bed. Sleep tight 😴
