Hi from beautiful down town Banbury. Still in hotel bed. Knackered from so much walking yesterday. A lovely meet up with Mrs SD cut short as we had tickets for the London Eye. I enjoyed yesterday so much, and so happy to finally meet the icon that is Mrs SD. We really should do more of meeting up. That's 3 I have put a face to a name now and all such lovely people.
It is grandson Vulpix's first birthday today, we are going to play soon so his Mum can put a little tea party together. Several bags of stuff to offload on them! GS won't care but I am looking forward to DIL's reaction to the surprise quilt.

Morning Peeps,
@Floss your suggestion made me smile. That was done, we'd tasked him to re-fix the curtain rail back on the wall after mum had ragged it offit took 6 weeks of messing about unsuccessfully (deliberately we are sure) in the end we got some new blind slats and a new rail fastened back up. We have left him out of doing anything since. He can't put the laundry back where it belongs
even though all the drawers are labelled up to help agency staff find things... again either more stoopid than we think or deliberate who knows?
Managed to squeeze a wash and nearly dry load yesterday late afternoon. They got ironed dry. LDFPA yay!
Tiny bits of decluttering keep happening and I mean tiny, I was hoping to do a car boot this weekend but the weather isn't looking like its going to play ball which is not what I need. I think its my weekend on the bay of cheaper charges so that may need to happen.
It is DH's birthday on Friday not even got him a card yet let alone what to get him. I will let him pick as I know he has been after a tool or 2 to help work smarter not harder.
Have lovely weekend

Looks like a lovely meet-up. If you meet in Greenwich again I could meet you as I go over there fairly often as my brother still lives in South London. I went to school in Greenwich and I still like the area. I keep meaning to try the pie and mash place there as I haven't tried it in years. I used to work in Greenwich too for a bank and I think that was the last time I went to the pie place. There is a vegan bakery there too, Ruby's. Hmm, I think I do need a trip to Greenwich thinking about it.
Now I'm hungry.

Announcing success of returning my dress to Tesco despite it having no labels or tags on it!! Did get asked if I had the receipt!! Yes I did! As Tesco no longer has changing rooms there's no alternative but to buy something and take it home and then return it if it doesn't fit. Frankly I think they do it on purpose as it limits returns as so many wouldn't bother. But not me!! I got my £10 back!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Gave a bag of dog treat that our dog doesnt like and a few toys to a charity collecting for RSPCA.But i really wanted to share my joy with you all today! DD got her gcse results and she smashed it.
Only starting the courses in septmber last year, having been unable to go to school for years or study at home, she worked her socks off and got the grades so she can get into college and do a levels! So proud of her!
