.... A burnt pan was scrubbed again but I have decided I need to get some wire wool on it. OH is saying we will get new pans when we get the new kitchen but these are very good pans that cost quite a lot when I got them and basically there is nothing wrong with them. The only pans I think come close to their quality is the expensive french ones so if they are to be replaced someone better start saving !!!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Thursday is another overcast & cool day with a maximum temperature of 16C 🙁 Wonder of wonders, DSis has had a bit of a tidy up of her coffee table & has recycled 7 newspapers (The wheelie bin hasn’t been emptied yet)
946 - 952 Seven newspapers recycled
Floss, no internet for 3 nights 😱 Doesn’t bear thinking about 😉
Not sure what this afternoon’s plans are but I suppose I should do something or should that be anything to boost my decluttering numbers 😉
Hoping everyone has a dry day with at least some sunshine 🤞

I haven't succumbed to putting the heating on - yet - but I have dug out a long sleeved uniform shirt for today's shift. By 'eck, it's parky. Had a big sort out last week due to landlord inspection so have updated with low estimates for rubbish and recycling. I have a heap of stuff that needs to be carried to the charity shop and will update that when it goes.
1807-1812: 300 emails deleted
1813-1853: items to recycling
1854-1915: items to rubbish
3 more DVD's or BluRays to charity shop or sell; 6 small tasks finally completed; 26 magazines to either work colleague or 0xfam shop making the total 256 for deferred decisions.
PS keeping an eye on the football so I can avoid the less savoury behaviour on my way to and from work.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

afternoon all,
havent been posting recently due to work and other stuff keeping me busy.
Window cleaner was round on Tuesday so we have nice sparkly clean windows. They also do the attic room (which is mine) semi regularly and Tuesday was the day.
So since I dropped half a cup of tea on the bed on Tuesday evening (oops), off came the sheets including the mattress protector, and they were washed Wednesday afternoon.
Today I have shifted some furniture around in my room and dusted/hoovered.
Decluttered the following:
For charity shop bag
10 books
1 x pack of old postcards
1 x bookmark
1 x tote bag
4 x CDs
2 x small ornaments
1 x candle I wont burn
1 x sleep mask
recycled
1 x old pair of glasses (to be recycled at the opticans at some point)
2 x cardboard packaging
1 x paper bag
1 x plastic tub
1 x small cardboard tub
binned
1x old artifical plant
1 x foot scraper
1 x broken ornament (knocked over while cleaning!)
I went through some blanket storage and located 2 or 3 handmade pieces that I have put to one side to send out to the wildlife charity, along with the 2 pieces I am crocheting at the moment.
Really need to get out in our garage yet again as its our main storage area. I have a ton of old stuff at the back I need to thin out and give to CS or sell on fleabay. May look at it a bit tomorrow if nosy next door neighbour goes out.14 -
Hi Chums still here and literally waiting to exchange, a few hiccups with DDs buyers buyer, but everything hopefully sorted we have three provisional completion dates, and the rest of DDs chain just have to pick one that fits us all.
My buyers are away on holiday tomorrow for a week, but they are happy to exchange and complete
Provisional dates at the moment are 19th ,24th and 28th June, as we have to have the largest van to come over from the IoW to first load my stuff then round to DDs two roads away to load hers,
The van leaves the island at 04.30 in the morning and hope to get to my house dependant on traffic by 8./9,00 am. two hours to load at mine then round to DDs to load her stuff, Its going to be a looong day
I am virtually camping out at home as almost everything is packed, and the freezer is almost empty I can only buy stuff to eat daily as I'm waiting for the confirmation for completing.
Definitely my last ever move ,we should have been gone on the 31st May ! !
I just peeled some potatoes to have as mash tonight with left overs for tomorrow and realised my masher is packed and I can't be bothered to undo a box to find it so it looks like boiled spuds to go with my dinner tonight
I have had the strangest of stuff to eat to use bits up
I fancied a couple of boiled eggs then realised that the egg cups were packed as well., a bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower is in the freezer with some frozen carrots will do for veg .
I did try to eat a ready meal or two but they really tasted awful
If I get a chance I may try an M&S one, although the Sainsburys one seemed at least to taste of what it was supposed to
I'm afraid the Iceland one were really awful the lasagne tasted like polyfillaalthough I've never actually tasted polyfilla
All the boys haven't been home since the bank holidays as two of their beds have been donated so I know one wants to come home this weekend, but he will have to sleep on his Mums sofa as his bed has gone
In my sitting room I am surrounded by 15 large boxes full of my possessionsall the donated stuff has gone plus the tip runs so only thing left to pack really are a few saucepan cutlery and a couple of plate and mugs,
feels very strange to be surrounded by my worldly stuff all in boxes
Hope every one is Ok
Cheers chums

Mrs SD - lovely knitting.
Liverpool_Anne - I will get more support from Church family than mine. Mr F has no relatives in this country. I only have 2 children nearby - both work full time and have families.
Mr F was rambling last night about owing tax and having wiped his bank accounts from the computer - all fiction. I really thought he was off into a breakdown again. I had to calm him down.
Today we got to the hospital after leaving home an hour before the appointment to be told that there was no appointment for him today - it had been rescheduled - first we heard of it. Chap on desk couldn't understand why a face to face appointment was going to be a telephone one. Told me to phone the consultant's secretary.
I decided to visit the unit that we were in last week - I asked about the radiology appointment - not been okayed yet.
I phoned the consultant's secretary to be told the one who deals with appointment bookings is on leave until Monday.
I did later get a call from the unit we visited - have to be there at 1 tomorrow to have a blood test and cannula inserted so I think Mr F is having the fluid drained under xray/scan/ultrasound..

Well. I'm glad we didn't stay in an hotel, I was awake most of the night and wouldn't have been impressed to be paying for being awake when I could do it for nothing at home!
Everything ran very smoothly at the hospital and we were back in the car within 2 hours. We then went to purchase some joggers for Mr V as the key hole surgery will be through his belly, and a genuine Lois Vuitton overnight bag for £12 because I have donated all the over night bags we had.
Mr V has been to a chiropodist and had his toe dressed and I have been asleep. I will go back and catch up now.
