Well I think I've finally got rid of my "super-cold" thankfully 🙏. It wasn't until Thursday that I noticed a real difference - I'm still resting a lot.
- front & back lawns strimmed
- parcels taken to post office / drop off point
- week's target for supervision certification reached
It doesn't look very much written down like that but it feels very positive.
Love to all x

So tired... June is flashing by and I've barely been on here, but I've just updated my signature.
On 1244/2024 now as I added 33 odd socks to the bin, and I just sold some curtains online!
Work is very stressful and I think I might actually be going nuts from it. I hope things improve soon.Keep reading books!

@Liverpool_Anne the dilemma of the sofa is that is big and needs reuphostering, is 1960s and folds out to a bed with the back going flat and storage underneath but about 2.2m so won't fit in the car to take to upholsters but paying alot to bring other furniture so makes sense to include it but will have to then hire a van to take to be repaired and brought back - risk i put a throw over it and live with it, and be even scruffier than I am!
Been out with a friend to the Exhibition Rd Festival with the V&A and Science Museum and then watching to much TV, but someone picked up 6 glasses this morning, I took old maps and guide books out of a box so I know what i have, one to CS and 1 to recycling and some paper recycling 912.16 -

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday I was up very late - 13:30 & I am hanging my head in shame 😳 The weather is appalling - rain showers interspersed with sunshine (according to my DSis) & then at 14:20 the wind picked up, it went dark & the lightning & thunder started & now the rain. Forgot to mention yesterday that DSis has had to bin a newly bought DVD player as after watching one DVD she could smell burning 😱 DH will be taking to the Tip on his next visit. You’ve probably guessed that it was a cheap Chinese import 😔 DH ordered a new branded DVD player which arrived this morning. In other news the recycling wheelie bin was emptied this morning - 2nd Saturday in a row rather than the scheduled Thursday 🤷♀️ Did nothing much all day apart from watch TV & knit. DSis & I watched the latest Mission Impossible film & what a complete & utter load of garbage it was. A waste of almost 3 hours but at least I didn’t waste any money seeing it at the cinema 😉 We resorted to watching Arnie in Commando - mindless but entertaining fun with some great one-liners 😉 Dinner was DSis’s current favourite - creamy bacon & pea linguine with enough lo for her to have for Monday night’s dinner. Wudupa.
965 - 969 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 cardboard boxes, paper packaging- recycled

Great cheerleading post Liverpool_Anne 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 I hope OH cleared up after himself once he finished his batch cooking 🤞
-taff, some excellent decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that you manage to get to the Tip on Monday 🤞The banana leg tomatoes look interesting 🤔 I think I will try to find some when we get back from our trip 🙂
Florenceem, pleased to hear that you had a lie-in on Saturday 🙂 Glad Brie was ‘holding your hand’ whilst you were waiting for MrF to return from feeding the birds 😊
nannywindow, hopefully now that your dad is on the mend you are managing to declutter some stress & worry 🙏 A worrying & exhausting time for you what with your dad, your health issues & your DH’s health issues 😪 No wonder you & DH are tired. Sending cwtches to all 3 of you 🤗 Glad you are making use of the TLC Carriage 😊 & your DH is also welcome although he might prefer the pretty masseuses 😂
Excellent decluttering, tidying & cleaning GrannyKate 👏 So pleased to hear that you have a new Estate Agent 🥳 As the first EA was so useless, the new one is bound to do a far better job 😊
EnergyShifter, yippee to getting rid of your “super-cold” 🥳 Definitely very positive - decluttering several tasks 👏
Florenceem, pleased to hear that MrF returned safely 🙂
crazybunnylady4, pleased to hear that work wasn’t too busy 🙂 Nothing wrong with “general sorty sort” you can get a lot done 👏
Excellent decluttering wishus 👏 Hopefully you are getting to the end of the sock mountain 😉🤞 Sorry to hear that work is so stressful 😥 Hopefully it will ease off very, very soon 🙏
Great decluttering TC77 👏 My tuppence worth re the sofa is that it isn’t worth either the bother or the expense 😉 I would leave it at your dad’s house 😉
Hope everyone has a good nights sleep 😴

Tidied bedroom and it looks so much better - just need to keep it that way. Was able to clean some surfaces that haven't been seen for a while.
Made a start on emails but only managed a few. It doesn't take long for them to build up.
vulpix I am currently fighting the urge to help a friend. Unfortunately she is not good at helping herself and in the past I have put her before me and it has cost me dearly. I have to stand firm on this even though it goes against my nature - it feels cruel to leave her struggling but it has been going on for years and she does have paid support as well as ongoing mental health support.

Morning chums ,what an awfully wet weekend its been so far, and although sunny this morning I don't think it will last .Very windy as well.
Still 'camped' out in my sitting room surrounded by boxes literally only a few more bits to pack but mainly odds and ends
I have to keep a little bit out in the kitchen so one knife a couple of forks and a couple of spoons, a lot of the cutlery drawer is packed wooden spoons etc.I am down to only keeping stuff to use to eat with and cook with I do miss my slow cooker though and my remoska went sadly to the tip as it was on its last legs.
In the freezer I have two 'ready meals ' I must say I'm really not impressed by them at all, and hopefully once I've moved I'll never have to eat them again
I have three pieces of 'lightly dusted haddock' ( I have visions of someone in the factory going over them with a feather duster) in the freezer, an almost full bag of cauliflower and broccoli mixture and a small bag of sliced carrots,, 9 single portions of mashed potato in a bag, about 6 portions of wholemeal bread (I can use them to have cheese/bean/ poached eggs etc on toast as a temporary filler. and for some reason two choc ices
but they will do with a bit of tinned fruit for a pudding .
Very little left in the food cupboard three tins of beans ,two of spaghetti hoops (DD donated as the boys won't be around to eat them)
She said I can use them as well on toast as a filler. she also donated a tin of M&S stewing steak that she found in the cupboard, so at a pinch I can use it up with some frozen mash and veg for a meal. It really does feel like camping out ,but indoors IYSWIM
I also have a tin of sardines in tomato sauce, again will probably go on toast for a lunch.
We are hoping to exchange contracts this week as my buyers are happy to even though they are on holiday and my DDs buyer is as well, we are just waiting for her buyer to agree, and fingers crossed, once done and a moving completion date agreed it will be all systems go.
I so miss cooking proper food, and have spent an awful lot of time just watching tv, and sitting around ,really not what I enjoy doing much anyway .
I have a list of people I have to get in touch with once the moving day is agreed to do change of address plus cancelling bank payments and goodness knows what else, but inactivity is really wearing at the moment , but hopefully it will be fairly soon, and once contracts are exchanged it will be just a case of agreeing the completion date which can't come too soon.
My solicitors and estate agents have been really good and I can't fault them so I think a bottle of something for them will be on my shopping short list this week.
Hope everyone is safe and dry in this dreadful windy wet weather ,my eldest DD is at her caravan for a week this week down in Deal, luckily they have central heating, and she will read her Kindle while her OH watches the interminable football on tv Not much going out in the bad weather.
Onwards and upwards chums
