I’ve tried to do the same with other things too and recently gave away reuseable batteries in my buy nothing group as I have way more than I needed. I think they must have been when we were given kids toys that needed batteries, but don’t really have any that need batteries anymore.
It’s certainly a good lesson in overbuying as you realise quite how long it takes to use these things up. I don’t mind stocking up a little, but definitely won’t be going crazy with it in the future.2025 decluttering: 2,404🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅

Church this morning - left home at 10 and got home at 2. We had a lovely Father's Day service.
I stayed to sort piles of donations after the service.
Needed to get printed posters for the next table top sale - our last until the end of September.
I was given an office key today - C thought I had one. I need to get in the office to hand over the mini bus keys.
I will pick up my copy of the 2 week plan tomorrow - C had some bits to add. C and family are off to Italy on a much needed holiday.
I had a chat with my daughter and wrote down the blood tests that she recommends for Mr F. We are going to the Dr tomorrow morning.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hi, welcome applepad. DD2 was a shocker, mouldy cups ,the lot. I tried to ignore it but caved a couple of times and retrieved all the crockery and washing and rubbish. All I can say now is now she has her own house she doesn't live like that. Hopefully now your sons finals are finished you wont be asking too much of him to bring washing and washing up out regularly.
Floriana, sending hugs.
Queen Jess I agree 2 sets of night wear is enough, I only have 2 myself now. When my kids were little I used to keep enough summer and winter outfits to last 8 days. just enough for a weeks holiday. If only I could apply that to myself these days! When we would go on a holiday holiday in the October half term, I used to give the kids clothes to the chambermaids as they would be too small for the following summer.
We didn't do the open garden. The weather bucked up at tea time enough to sit out at our neighbours to celebrate their daughter's engagement. I took the wine which was apparently very nice.
Collecting some drawers for the Ukranian lady tomorrow and delivering them. Then off to Nottingham. We are swapping cars with my step son. He has a little run around which I would be much more comfortable with than our huge thing. It is a beautiful car to drive but I hate trying to park it. Mr V will not be able to drive for 2 weeks after his op. That will be very difficult for him.
Bon voyage Mrs SD

I forgot the picture of the last ShArf 😉
Sunday stayed dry & warmer than of late 😊 DH filled the bird feeders. Dinner was delicious (I added Yorkshire puddings & DH made gravy) DH washed up most of the pots & pans. I did the rest of the wudupa. Whilst DSis was watching Transporter Refuelled with Ed Skrein, I packed my bag & sorted out the wash bag. Only thing left is to have a bath & wash my hair 😉

QueenJess, so sorry to hear about the food poisoning 😔 Was everyone else OK? However I am very pleased to learn that you spent time in the TLC Carriage 😊 although I see that you still managed a great deal of decluttering 👏 I was very heartened to read the second part of your post 😊 So, so happy that you are realising how much you have decluttered & that you are seeing light at the end of the tunnel 🥳 You are an inspiration to us all 😊
I have had my bath & am just combing out my hair prior to going to bed. Will catch up with the cheerleading before we set off tomorrow 🤞

A bright & sunny start to Monday here on the IoD with barely a cloud in the sky 😊 I woke for a bathroom visit & decided to get up & have a cuppa before dressing for motorcycling 😉 The perfect opportunity to wake up properly & catch up with the cheerleading 🙂 DH is having a bath.
QueenJess, what a wonderful idea to pass on over-supply of batteries 😊
Florenceem hope the visit to the doctor goes well & that this is the start of a proper treatment plan 🙏 A fairly quiet Sunday for you 😉 Please try not to do too much whilst you are covering for C & I hope he & his family have a great holiday 😊
Lovely cheerleading post vulpix 😊 Sending best wishes for MrV’s op & healing vibes for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
Many cwtches to anyone & everyone who would like one 🤗 Hope everyone has as good a day as possible 🤞 The next time I post we will be in our first hotel but still in England 😉
