Mrs SD - lovely knitting.
Mr F saw the Doctor this morning - she was running 24 minutes late - we were in with her quite a while so poor woman must have been even more behind.
Dr is a bit baffled by the respiratory clinic changing the face to face appointment to a telephone one - I told her that I was phoning the consultant's secretary today - she said - yes do.
Dr ordered more blood tests for Mr F after I showed her the list that my Dd gave me on Sunday.
Called at SA on the way home to get my plan for the next two weeks.
When we got home I phoned the hospital - finally got to speak with the Consultant's secretary who apologised that we had a wasted journey last week - seems there was a mix up somewhere. She confirmed that it would be a telephone appointment
15 minutes later she phoned to say that she had spoken to the consultant who now wants a face to face appointment.
Decided to get the blood test done this afternoon as I managed to book an appointment at the hospital.
We did 9,600 steps today.

Still taking it easy today as tired out by this food poisoning (just me luckily... the only time I eat outside the home!). I relaxed and didn't specifically do any decluttering, but some things still got decluttered as part of day to day life.Physical:
1 - bathroom supplies used up
1 - DS tat binned
2 - paper, reused then recycled
9 - DS books (charity box)
2 - DD wellies grown out of (donated to nursery)

successful tip run, no injuries, asked for and got help to move enormous concrete slab. That's one job done. Now have to return builders bag to builder since I don't want to throw it away. Coincedentally, the builders is right next to the garden centre

For the first time in forever, DH & I set off on time 11:25. Lovely sunny day, perfect for motorcycling for exactly 1hr 50 minutes 😉 Just as we arrived at our first stop, an OK Diner in Tickencote, Rutland the heavens opened 🌧️ It rained heavily persistently for the whole time we were in the diner 😔 but stopped whilst DH was filling up with petrol. DH had a bacon burger & chips, I had an all day breakfast - 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, baked beans & toast 😋 The weather improved dry with some blue skies but a couple of hours later it rained again for about 20 minutes. Arrived at The Royal Oak, Appleby at 18:10. We have a lovely room perfect fore someone my height but not for someone who is 6’2” as there is a wooden beam across the centre of the room 😣 We had a couple of beers each during dinner - beef & ale pie, chunky chips, green beans, red cabbage & beetroot whilst I had salmon, with boiled potatoes & the same vegetables. We had gelato for afters - chocolate & salted caramel for DH, mint & salted caramel for me. Just for once I treated DH by paying 😉 Back in our room by 21:00. Lovely location for the pub & the bed is enormous 😉😉
Thanks Florenceem 😊 Another busy day taken up with doctor appointments & blood tests at the hospital 😔 Fingers crossed for quick blood test results & a diagnosis 🤞🙏
QueenJess, very pleased to hear that you are still taking it a bit easier than usual 😊👏 Food poisoning is debilitating & you should take your time to recover fully 🙏 Although I see that you still managed some decluttering 👏
Great work -taff 👏 Not sure they will take the builders bag - generally one use for H&S reasons. We used one of ours as a liner for a raised bed 😉
Hope everyone has had a good day 🤞 & at least some pleasant weather 🙂 Cwtches all round 🤗 & healing wishes to our poorlies ❤️🩹

Hi all,
@-taff even though we don't have the best weather for it there is something about home grown tomatoes that really make them worth it and those look very good
@GrannyKate good luck with the new estate agent
@London_1 sitting twiddling your thumbs is hard work but hopefully it won't be for long
@Vulpix thoughts are with you and Mr V for today, big hugs to keep the wave going
@applepad welcome aboard, no advice to give re the bedroom of doombut hopefully now the stress is lifting you can get him to sort it out.
@Mrs SD hope you have a lovely trip and the weather continues to improve. Another lovely ScArf
@florianatwobob big hugs
@QueenJess sorry to hear you have been unwell, please take care of yourself, hugs. I am glad the consensus is that the best decluttering is done over time as it makes me feel better about my dithering over things
@Florenceem glad the gp took your DDs suggestions on board, hopefully the blood tests will give some answers, hugs
Today I am visiting a friend whose DH has had a stroke and while she is glad to have him home is not really able to leave the house so we have been unable to meet up. She was always a busy person with lots going on and involved in lots of things in the community so this is quite hard for her.
Over the last couple of days I have done a few bits but confess to spending time watching the football. The weather has improved with mostly grey mornings but sunny afternoons though the breeze has still been there so 4 LDFPA, bathroom bin, kitchen bin and lr bin have been emptied and I have finally got the use of the pans so a batch cook has been done of some of the veggies for a sweet potato and roast pepper soup, 2 portions in the fridge for tea tonight and 6 portions in the freezer. I have a load of other veg waiting to be used so I have put them in the freezer to save them and will get to that when I get home from visiting today. A few things have made their way into a bag for the cs but not out of the house yet so not counted.
Right I had better get weaving so hugs to anybody who would like one

Caught up reading , love the Mexican wave of hugs, and disorderly queue probably fits more with life at the moment. Sunday put teaset in cs bag having been an in a couple of weeks ago as a collectable set but I don't need ( didn't own up to the in) , and took it and others in bag to cs yesterday, Bit of paper declutter and fingers crossed 🤞 the person who came round yesterday to see my extra large dining table , goes from 2m to 3m with extensions that are heavy and have to be kept under a bed! And 8 chairs will collect in next week. I don't have the table from my dad's yet but do have the 6 dining chairs I had reupholstered.
Saw house yesterday which had wonderful feel but been used as offices so major work... and issue over getting parking permit. Thought of anyone coming round my house to view should should spur me on.
Vulpix , well done on sorting your mum's house and getting on market.17 -
Morning all - not much going on here. I do, however, have a viewing tomorrow arranged by old estate agent (contract expires 10 July). New agent did say this might happen as they will not want to lose commission and might put some effort in. Child care for 11 days straight and DS2 away so a bit tired with all the school runs. I now have to tidy up for the viewing.

We have been decluttering some weeds today. It feels quite warm again today.
I am also attempting to dye some chazzer shop clothes pink for Taylor Swift. I looked on Amazon and I know it didn't work last time back in April and so I was reading the instructions to see what I did wrong. It always worked before so I am going to try it on another setting.2025 GOALS

I am a 4 year old at heart GrannyKate, love playing in the garden with mud and water. Funny how the EA can conjure up a viewing all of a sudden.
Thank you for good wishes. The consultant has just phoned, the op went well, Mr V is in recovery cracking jokes. So he's fine. He's got a drip, a drain and a catheter so he won't be so jovial when he comes round a bit more!
I am enjoying driving the little car, particularly the gears, our car is automatic. SS calls the car big red. It's very small and blue. He has numerous cars all in degrees of being stripped down. Big red has massive go fast stripes over the bonnet and roof and a boy racer exhaust and modified horn which sounds like a truck horn. Did give Mr V a toot as I drove off this morning. I intended to knock spots off when I got home but fell asleep.
I have finished another baby blanket for the charity shop. I also need to find somewhere to donate old glasses. I have a few pairs now. I have lost an arm off mine. used them in a shop, put them in my pocket, took them out,no arm. One of life's mysteries. It is just not worth me paying a lot for glasses. My name is Vulpix and I abuse glasses.
Yesterday at step sons I had an hour burning stuff in his old bin. He has chopped down a massive leylandii hedge and spent weeks digging the roots out. The garden looks massive. He gave me some plants which he inherited, I don't know what they are but they look like a lily. He also gave me a rose to nurse. He dug it up to plant a monkey puzzle tree that we bought him for his 40th Birthday. When, yes when we get some summer I will go and spend a day in his garden, burning stuff and pulling weeds. He is extending the already double garage to fit more cars in.
I hope the weather is kinder today Mrs SD.
