1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday I couldn’t even be bothered to cook so DH ordered burgers & fries for our dinner. Wudupa. I went to bed at 02:15 as DH was setting off on RBR to the Midlands @ 07:30 & I wanted to see him off 😉
594 - 595 Kitchen decluttering, drinks cans - recycled
596 Kitchen detritus binned
Monday I got up same time as DH 07:10 - made him a porridge pot & a cup of coffee whilst he got kitted up. Then a hug goodbye & I went back to bed @ 07:25. Up again at 11:15 & having my first cuppa.
Wednesday2000, looks like a very interesting place - I googled & the food looks truly scrumptious 😊 Great decluttering 👏 Hope the estate agent visit goes well 🤞
Florenceem, a very busy Saturday 👏 I hope your Sunday was quieter 😊
Lovely post charlies_tribe 😊 & I did smile at your ‘confession’ 😁 Hopefully your daughters got around to sorting out the Barbie dolls & clothing so that you can use the conservatory🤞
Excellent work in the garden florianatwobob 👏 Usually only weeds are that sturdy - a pansy I believe - gorgeous 😍
mhagster, it might seem a bit daunting but you are doing a great job 👏 Lots of decluttering & another 20 boxes packed 🥳 The garage emptying sounds like it is going really well, keep up the good work 😊
2Scratters, what a lovely book to own 😊
Excellent decluttering & furniture rearrangement Floss 👏 Sounds like your bedroom has a lot more space now 😊
Excellent decluttering Florafauna 👏 Hope the cold is short lived 🤞
Lovely to see you Muddy_Walker 👋 Pleased to hear that a medication change has resulted in you feeling so much better 😊 Sorry to hear about your PIP application being rejected 😔 Although it seems from reading lots of other threads that rejection is very commonplace 😠 I will keep everything crossed that you won’t be rejected again & won’t have to appeal 🤞🙏
Excellent decluttering of DVDs Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 presumably made easier by DD1 helping out 😉 Fingers crossed that your z!ffit sale has gone through today 🤞I have bookmarked Bella Coco & will find some time to look again at learning to crochet 😉
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 I hope you have better luck with getting a new oven shelf than I had - I ended up with an adjustable one which I have been reluctant to use 😔 I really should have checked the instruction booklet (but couldn’t find it 😔), as like you I keep all mine for future problem solving 😊 Great work on your April mini decluttering challenge 👏
I have caught up one page of the cheerleading but I am struggling with my concentration so will post this & come back later 😉

Hi
accrued another bag of stuff for charity shop and just about to put it in the car for next time I’m passing.A bit more packing this morning and will do half an hours worth this evening.19 -
10 parcels of clothes/shoes en route to their new homes, with a few more waiting to be sent/buyers to pay. Anything of the kids I've sold will go into their pot, the rest towards my EF.
I had a crisis of confidence in the supermarket this morning and bought some kitchen bin liners as I thought we were about to run out. It turns out we'd have been okay for another week or two but thanks to my New Year declutter, I found enough to sustain us for the first (nearly) five months of the year 😅17 -
Thank you MrsSD - all posted special delivery almost £8 😳😳😳
Im sure many of the people who work there feel for those claiming - well I like to think so - and I’m equally sure others don’t care. I’m so glad I’m not like that 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Evening
I've decluttered my office day
I also took a tin of coins - 1ps,2ps, 5ps - gathered from various money boxes, windowcills, shelves etc in the house & put them in one of those coin collection machines - it totalled over £5 which I donated to charity. Just glad to have got rid of the various piles
I also put fairy lights on my large houseplant that I had for Xmas - not a decluttering thing but something I hadn't got round too this year! Looks very pretty especially on a grey rainy day.
Love to all

Please may I join in. I have been decluttering slowly but really need to start pushing myself more as I have hit a wall. I moved just over 4 years ago and had to combine bedroom and sewing room into one. The good bit is that new bedroom is nearly the size of both rooms. The bad news is that I went on a charity shop spending spree and I also did steampunk which I'm taking timeout from as I have also split from my partner.“HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. DO YOU KNOW, THAT IN A UNIVERSE SO FULL OF WONDERS, THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INVENT BOREDOM. (Death)” - Sir Terry Pratchett16

I gave Mr F a beard and hair trim after we had a morning cuppa.
I left Mr F getting ready when I set off for Church yesterday morning. He didn't turn up so as soon as I had put the offering in the safe - I rushed home. Mr F was sitting watching the service on my computer - said he would have been embarrassed to arrive late. Everyone at Church was worried about him.
We didn't go to the afternoon service.
Mr F has not been himself the past few days - I have asked him if something is on his mind but he says no. I worry that he will have another breakdown.
Ddil arrived with a pair of cricket trousers - too big on the waist for Dgs.
I packed my shopping trolley with stuff for the charity shop before bed.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Good evening.
Not reporting anything decluttered as apart from general rubbish and recycling nothing has gone out.
Think need a good shake. Some are in a worse place than me with illnesses and other things so I shouldn't feel sorry more myself.
Going to post some e-bay sales tomorrow so that is somethng.

I have had similar delayed letters in the past from tax credits.Funny that.
Hi, I was in the garden for hours. yesterday, joined for the last hour by my heartbroken neighbour. she has an ap on her phone which identifies birdsong .the evening chorus was blackbird, robin and wren. I recognise a black bird but didn't know what the others were. Gravel garden not finished but getting there, I am feeling very sad. bit by bit is my gardening friend and she loved it here. so sad that she wont enjoy it again.2025 GOALS

Hello machasraven, welcome, you will find plenty of support here, not exclusively to do with de cluttering. Keep us updated on your progress.
ilovetea, some days it just isn't the right time for de cluttering. Don't be hard on yourself, your mojo will come back around.
Florenceem, sending best wishes to you and Mr F.xx
I bought myself a sun top today from FB. Sun? I have no frame of reference. Out 2 of Mr V's shirts. He put one on and it was too big, put another on and it was also too big. Added to the charity shop bag of Mum's stuff which we dropped off on the way out this morning.
I am going to buy a new to me shelf for the spare room. It is slowly turning into a shrine to the 50's, 60's and 70's. I keep rescuing things from Mum's. I want to keep all her wooden cotton reels but what would I do with them if I did. I know I could craft things with them but what do I do with the things I make? I may as well donate them and let someone else craft them. See I talked myself out of that one.
It is my son's Birthday tomorrow. Everyone asked why I didn't call him George. It could have been Christmas day for all I knew at the time! haha
Take care Vx:19
