Bag of bits sent off to the CS today.Started weeding the smaller of the two big beds in the garden yesterday. For one reason and another it got a bit abandoned last year and given half a chance likes to revert to a more ‘natural’ state. I have thus far deweeded about 1/4 of the bed. If the tulips, alliums, crocosmia weren’t so dense this would have been an easier job. I also tackled the block paving (mostly so I could work out where the weeds ended!) and again about 1/4 is cleared. It needs pressure washing then rejointing. Replanted a couple of plants whilst there and found a rogue strawberry plant that had started as a runner from my strawberry tub. However I can offer you this little self seeded beauty by back doorstep.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hello
Today I was slow to get started . It all feels rather overwhelming but I can see I’ve actually done a lot already just loads more to do!
I have packed up 20 smaller sized ( probably normal sized) boxes since Wednesday.Today DD2 came over and took out the garage : 2 bedside tables that my aunt had dropped off for her. My uncle had made them. A parasol. A garden rug. Her chap took some bike bits that my son had left. There was a lantern that I’d put on FB months ago does anyone want and his mum said yes please…they live in the south of England but are coming up to visit soon…so I made sure it squeezed in the car! And a picnic set that she wanted from her childhood! Anyway it was all sitting at the front of the garage so now looks less !Did a wee bit of packing. Then a huge big framed map was collected from someone locally. This was from my husbands work years ago.And another pile started for charity shop19 -
@vulpix I still have a book The Elves and the shoemaker. I am not one for re reading books but this one has had many reads over the years.
It has delightful coloured pictures. It is stored in my tea chest of bits that came from my parents.

I did a partial reshuffle of furniture today; I acquired a new-to-me pine bedside cabinet on Friday, which has enabled the pedestal that was next to the bed to move to the space formerly occupied by a pine glass-door cupboard, which has moved to the space freed up by moving my desk to beneath the window 😊 The important access point for the cat's daily window watch has been enhanced so hopefully she won't wander across my desk in future!
I also picked up a low shallow, 1.2m long pine bookcase, which is on the landing & has provided a tidy home for my hair dryer & styler and assorted products, all tucked away in a basket. There are also matching baskets for craft stuff. My fixed bookshelves are now free of the hair products, which looks much better!
1 bag of rags & 1 bag of ill-fitting things were dropped off at the chazzer earlier, and lots of bits cluttering my desk & pinboard have been binned.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@Wednesday2000, I love the look and the name of the café. Looks so inviting. So I have started packing, have packed all the ornaments from my two Welsh dresser 's shelves. Planning to empty the cupboard bits tomorrow.
Have decluttered a broken bird ornament and dropped some books off at the charity shop.
Not been out at all today as I am trying to nurse a cold, feeling better for a day's rest16 -
Helloooooooooo
Seems ages ago I was last here! Had my first week back at work last week and was shattered at the end of it but being back into a routine has really helped. My Dr changed some of my medication and I feel loads better.
Not had chance to do any proper decluttering as I have been catching up on personal admin but I did manage to renew car insurance much more cheaply so happy with that. The dogs have had a short back and sides as I call it🤣 Dog1 is so pretty with all her freckles back and looks so sweet ❤️❤️ Dog2 looks like he stepped off the cover of a dog modelling magazine with the flowing hair/fur….mind you he hasn’t shut up yelling at birds all afternoon 😜🙄
In other news my PIP application was rejected. They were a bit naughty really - the letter was dated 25th March but I didn’t get it until last week - mid April and they give you 1 month to disagree and then download and fill out another form which has to be printed signed and posted. To me, the form wasn’t too difficult but I can imagine many people would struggle and the format of the form wasn’t user friendly. However it will get printed tomorrow and I will sign and send special delivery.(This is the mandatory reconsideration part)
if that is rejected it can then be appealed…… no wonder people get disheartened. So I will work out how many decluttering points that lot has earnt and add it to the totals later!

Hi everyone, not kept up as RL has been busy, mainly work, nothing exciting!
DD1 came round today and went through my DVDs, we put most of them in the bag for the CS plus some other items - I've got 2 bags for the CS but won't count them till they're gone. I shredded a folder of paperwork and threw away the folder as it was broken. I've also taken my soft plastics to the SM . I've got a box of books for z!ffit but the app wouldn't complete the sale so I'll try again tomorrow.
Mrs S_D - i am learning crochet at a class but our teacher recommends Bella Cocoa on utube
Love to all

Quickly checking in before I'm off to bed. Did some decluttering in the kitchen and realsied that my baking equipment drawer is just too rammed. However, it does have the tins in as well as containers, mixing bowls etc and it makes no sense since I use the drawer under the oven for baking trays. I can't use it because it is too full, although it is full because I have a grill tray in there that I never use and a massive tray for the oven I sometimes use in lieu of an extra oven shelf - even though it's too big. So, solved it all by getting rid of the grill tray, getting rid of the massive tray (and all the accessories) and went online and ordered myself a spare oven shelf. Problem solved. Not sure why I needed to have all that cluttering up my house for 10 years! I also ordered myself a bakeware organiser for the deep drawer so I can hopefully fit everything in there nicely rather than throwing it all in randomly. On a similar note - to order the spare part for the oven, I needed to check the exact type of oven using the instructions. This is one reason I find it silly that all these minimalists online seem to push hard that you never need to keep the instructions once you know how to use something. I use mine fairly often when things go wrong etc. I know they sometimes say they are online (although you can't rely on that) or that you can keep them digital. Seems extreme to get rid of a very small pile of paperwork and past the point of keeping things that are useful to you. Mine are in a folder in the kitchen cupboard in case I need to refer to them.Physical:
