Hello.Out today was a bag full for the charity shop. Passed it on to my niece who works next door to a charity shop…oooh she said I like the lampshade…take what you want! As long as it’s out my house! Was one my aunt had dropped off. Then two sets of chests of drawers which are tall and skinny and very heavy! Got them as far as the top of the stairs and thought I ain’t attempting the stairs myself! So my daughter’s partner kindly brought them downstairs. Which is where they’ll sit till Thursday night. The actual drawers were all squeezed into friend’s car. And the contents of drawers are all in baskets for now and will just sit inside my wardrobe floor. Once I’ve hoovered and wiped it all down…a tomorrow job!Bag of odd socks to go in bin. It turns out I have a serious amount of socks!Tip appointment booked for the morning!17

Hi all, lovely sunny day here today so 4 LDFPA, some was on the maiden from the other day. 10 random things put away, bathroom bin emptied, bedroom recycling emptied and a pillow protector binned, couldn't even be put in the rag bag as it is a strange fabric that just seems to pull apart. I have new ones that are just like a cotton pillowcase, much nicer.
We were out for tea with a friend, her son and fiance. The fiance ran the London marathon on Saturday and was still a bit stiff but had some brilliant news, she is 6 weeks pregnant. She is so excited and has booked a private 8 week scan because she can't wait the 12 weeks for the nhs scan
. I will need to buy some wool
In other news our friend we visited in hospital yesterday has been sent home with more antibiotics. I am not really happy about this as I don't think having seen her yesterday that she is really well enough to be sent home but I suspect the hospital needed the bed
I am up and out early tomorrow as the garage phoned to say the new exhaust has arrived so they can fit it tomorrow and I am going to pop into town for the birthday presents I need after I have dropped the car off.
I have caught up with the posts but after being out 3 days running I am falling asleep so hugs to anybody who would like one
607 10 things put away
608 bedroom recycling
609 bathroom bin
610 - 613 LDFPA
614 pillow protector
Take care everyone

Good morning. Just a quick post while DD3 is getting ready.
Congratulations to your friend Liverpool_Anne.
My DD1 came with DGD yesterday and was here over sn hour before I spotted her jumper, it said Big Sis on it. The girls both said they had seen it and been talking about it upstairs but I didn't spot it until she sat on the worktop to help me make a cup of tea. DD1 is also 6 weeks. She was a bit annoyed at herself though as she was desperate for a summer baby this time and now we have a December addition.
There's been a huge box in the living room, full of other boxes that have slowly been filtering into the recycle bin. Yesterday DH took out the last piece and it was wrapping paper and plastic from christmas in the bottom. So tgat went in the bin yesterday and folded the box up. Within 20 minutes someone was asking for large boxes locally so the box was offered and it was collected last night.
Right better post my list now the bins have gone out and things have been collected and go and make some sandwiches for school.

Morning all, thanks for the invite mrs Salad! I've a mind to get sorted, I work full time AND it's greenhouse season but as Buddha said, balance in all things ( well if he didn't he should have) so yesterday my achievements were, selling a mobile phone my son bricked, and starting a chazza ( charity donation) box. I've a bit of an impasse with him indoors who thinks everything should just go to the tip, but I've kindly advised him this isn't his circus nor his monkeys and I'm going to sell and donate or gift as much as humanely possible. I'm going to put any financial gains aside in cash, in a tin. And hopefully in a few months I'll cover the floor with my earnings and reenact scrooge mcduck from the opening of ducktales, or treat us all to a meal out!19

I can't remember what I said last on here, but I have decluttered a cushion, a used up candle and all the rubbish and recycling has gone out.
My husband has his work meeting today so he might find out what is happening with his job a bit more. I am going to have him take the donation bag before he catches the train into London.
I was going to get rid of a couple of wicker baskets but I googled what to do with them in the home and am now using one with sections to store the remote controls and my library books. I will find a use for the other one today.
I am going to start my new book today and I want to use the treadmill before my shower as we started off well doing that and it petered out!
I have booked another house valuation for tomorrow so I need to clean the house again. It shouldn't take that long this time as I just did it. I will do that tomorrow morning before he gets here.15 -
@machasraven, it will be lovely to get your sewing room back. I'm a swear and it brings me so much pleasure and relaxation as well as having something cool at the end to wear or use. It'll be a great sanctuary for you in so many ways.
Been doing slow and steady decluttering here as I'm involved in a big project over the next fortnight in work time. Getting rid of some stress and calories at my swimming lesson tonight16 -
Bonjour, declutterati chums! It’s all go here in the slow lane. After DH broke a bone in his foot - now healed and after 20 sessions of physio - we decided to buy an exercise bike. I must confess that although I have the spare room under control , we have another spare room aka a R of D, and the new home of the bike. DH had been using it as his “ box store”! So out went
32 cardboard boxes,
I pile rubbish
2 pairs of trousers
i jacket
2 pajama trousers
2 pairs uu shoes
1 pile wrappings for?
1 pile old medicine packets
total42to which I added
18 books
I pile old cards I was thinking of crafting cards
2 pairs old pants
2 pairs old socks
total - 65=275/366 , I think.
I was aghast as the old clothes etc came out of a box!
Any way the room is now looking much better, the bike is there( delivery and assembly was 75 euros which is one of the best value for money things I have paid for.I’m here on my own as DH is in hospital- not for long we hope. Thinking of you@Florenceem and Mr F. He developed recently a pile of symptoms and we panicked off to Urgences(A&E )on Monday afternoon where they discovered his temperature was32c . Anyway we had been due to go to our GPso I had all his symptoms written out in French. So after very many blood tests , scans , the Doctors are reassured but are keeping him in just in case and monitoring him and more tests. We have a very new small local hospital with great care and staff, so we are very relieved and grateful. sorry for going on so long but I don’t want to alarm the family . My first thought was to talk to my mother, but she died 25 years ago. I’m sure you can understand that. I didn’t intend to tell you this but I just started…. so , feeling all your hugs around me I will finish my coffee and do some decluttering- it will take my mind off things.20 -
