Hello
Today’s outs were two carboy glasswares. That won’t fit in with style of new house. Did love them but said thanks and goodbye and kerching! Money made from sale going towards a new to me sofa for new house. Chap thought price was for one though it did clearly say on post it was each but he happily paid for two ( must have thought he was getting an absolute bargain!)
Started filling a few boxes and organised for removal firm to come and give me a quote. Have a provisional date.16 -
It looks lovely vulpix- I know I'm just looking at a picture and you've had to do all the work but thank you for sharing, lovely peaceful areas

I finished another 2 cards yesterday so all done for 2024 - well my list - always others that pop up.
I plan to work on 2025 Easter cards and do some per month.
I will also do some Christmas cards each month.
Fund raising cards will be made as needed to keep the box filled.
I got very behind with everything last year - Mr F went in hospital for 3 months on April 9th.
Been to SA - got there at 10 and left at 3.30. Very busy today - lots of donations to sort. Lots of interaction with rough sleepers today and ex prisoners.
Counted with C - needed chocolate when I got home - our figures did agree but we were doing extra work on funds today so a lot of concentration needed.
Mr F took a trolley of stuff to the charity shop and came to SA for his lunch. He has gone off to a nurse appointment - still haven't received the compression stockings so being bandaged again.

LiverpoolAnn should read to knit but my phone sometimes has a life of its own and doesn't necessarily write what I type I think there is a gremlin inside that decides what it wants to print
Today I went through some of my baking stuff herbs spices food colourants etc and threw quite a bit away and was stern enough to bin some seriously OOD bits stuck at the back of the cupboard, Cream of Tartar anyone dated 2011 ?
Then went through some storage jars that were empty and just needed a wash they are going to the CS tomorrow as they just take up too much room and as they have not been used for over a year its unlikely I will use them again DD has her own set so no good to her.
Very satisfactory decluttering day as DGD Holly came for a cuppa this afternoon and took some bags of penne pasta home with her from the food mountain
Heard back from the solicitors, the searches for the house on the IoW have all come back clear, so things are moving along, albeit a bit slower than we would like but moving none the less
Onwards and upwards chums

to declutter or not to declutter? that is the question.
I hate hate hate chipped plates. OH does not. I would normally chuck them but some have to be kept as part of sets etc. (you should see the state of his family christmas turkey platter, hardly any safe edge to grasp it's so chipped)
And last night I chipped one of our Poole Pottery cranborne pattern luncheon plates. We had 4 at one point. We're down to 3 and only 1 is without chips. I love this stuff and it matches the coffee set that I found in a local chazza about a year back for £10. Ebay has some plates for sale starting at £10 each. Very pretty china @Brie. I can see why you love it.
Having both been poorly for over a week, bad housekeeping has taken its toll. Yesterday I sorted the fridge contents. I did manage some damage limitation last week by shoving all food containing meat into every space I could find in the freezer but a more thorough investigation found a lot of perishables. Sadly a pack of tomatoess, cucumber, carrots and chopped pepper in a tub all found their way into the bin along with 20 rice krispie cakes that were a result of DDs over enthusiastic baking spree with the gc. I also had to throw the remaining box of cocoa pops bought for gc as they had been left open and gone soft. Such a waste. Very pretty plates brie but definitely worth the money to have unchipped plates to use. The glazing is there for a reason lol.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly stbo, hope you feel better soon.
Great news Jackieo about searches.
Hugs to all

Brie and Vulpix I have a couple of ideas…..and I won’t be offended if you decline them!
Vulpix - would you be open to clearing a couple of square metres of that land and putting in some young thirsty saplings? Woodland Trust would be the best people to suggest saplings and thirsty sapling would help use up some of the water….i think. In my head it made sense! I love the green and white it’s very peaceful.
Brie - when my loved plates are chipped or unusable I break them up to use as crocks in pots or to add an interest to my rock garden. Or use them to put indoor plants on with some gravel.Florenceem - I am sure you know your homeless people very well but please make sure you are safe!!!!!! You do such good work and I am sure it’s appreciated by them all but not everyone is nice. Xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Evening all. Not much to report - attended meeting this am and DGS4 sat in a corner armchair with his tablet for 90 minutes. DGD4 sat in the car on her phone to her friends. They are both sleeping out tonight so it's very quiet. DS2 decluttered his bank card into an ATM this morning and was annoyed as it was kept. Later discovered he had used entirely the wrong card as it was for an unused savings account with about 10p in it. He tidied his wallet the other day so put things back in the wrong place.
Did another viewing today (another old fashioned informative Estate Agent thankfully) - layout, size and position of place was really good. Needs work - kitchen, bathroom, floors, central heating etc but do-able at the price and you could live there. The garden was flat and once kept beautifully but completely overgrown and out of control. Not overlooked at all at back as road behind had old semis with very long gardens. EA was reassuring about my sale and said to be patient as the price range and property type takes longer to sell but he said don't panic. (My own agent has not contacted me once in 3 weeks)

Muddy_Walker - we try to keep safe - no lone working is a rule we stick to. It is the addictions of the rough sleepers and released prisoners that is the problem - so many have drug or alcohol issues. Other visitors have mental health problems.
We had only just started to attend SA when Mr F was assaulted - C was worried it would put us off attending.
Still no news on Mr F's compression stockings - prescription was done on February 26th.
I made 6 Easter cards this afternoon.
