Thank you everyone, I don't want to bring the thread down. We both agreed yesterday that we were lucky to have met. It has been a positive experience for both of us. Well both families actually. Yesterday I went in first and Mr V went to the cafe to give us some time. When he appeared he burst in and said "anyone ordered a stripper? " Bit by bit loved that. I think she has always had a crush on him.hahaha.
I am going to carry on as usual, so !!!!!! n stitch this afternoon. I have promised to teach someone to crochet. Bed sheets need washing again! Fomo is being extra affectionate but it involved jumping all over the bed with muddy paws... again.

Mr F has been into town to take stuff to the charity shop.
I got a phone call - could I pop to SA - someone wanted to give Mr F a Birthday present for Thursday.
It is chilly out.
I have been given a bamboo stick - asked to make curtains for a theatre in a doll's house.
My Sister called here today with stuff she is getting rid of - it will be good for the table top sale at the end of the month - not good for me as it will have to stay in my craft room until then.
I am hoping to put together another trolley full for Mr F to take into town this afternoon.
I want to make more cards this afternoon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Afternoon all coffee morning with friends as its Tuesday and Dobbies day withheld from buying anything in the W'rose food outlet there. I'm now on day 9 NSD and after the big bag of tinned stuff clear out to the food bank its really good to work out what I can use from the freezer. I have a slow cooker full of the last of the chicken bits bubbling away in the kitchen. They will be turned into portions of curry when cooked and once cold frozen in batches. Next week will be batch cooking all the minced beef to make chillis, lasagne and cottage pies to be portioned up for the freezer. getting more room in the freezer now and I'm hoping to be able to give it a good defrost by May fingers crossed as I am leaving here for the new owners along with my washing machine.
I will next week at coffee morning take some of my genealogy books for my friend, as her granddaughter want to start it as a hobby. good to find a good home for them and another lady said she would happily take some of my wool stash as I have got her interested in starting to knit again as I had my knitting with me this morning and was telling her about the Linus Trust whom I knit blankets for.She said she would like to have a go so I will take some woodland somemneedles and the pattern so she can give it a try its an easy pattern and I'm sure she will soon pick it up. I do have quite a big wool stash so a few balls won't go amiss.
I'm actually enjoying finding homes for things and apart from the tip runs I did a few weeks ago with one of my grandsons most of the stuff has gone to people or the CS so its getting recycled.Lots of bric a brac went yesterday small ornement and a few vases that aren't used much.
My beloved coffee percolator went as well as my DD has a fancy machine , but the CS lady said she was happy to take it as they do sell well.
DD has spoken to the moving company on the IoW its called Cowes Mooversand explained we will both be moving on the same day and what we are doing and she said its not a problem and its possible that we maybe able to get it all into one large van and what we do is sent them a video of what we are needing to move and they will be able to tell us both the cost and if we can get everything in one As all the children have grown and flown the nest the stuff she is taking is also much reduced plus she's been decluttering as well.We are hoping for maybe if all goes well the end of May beginning of June.
so we will have the summer to get settled in

I have enjoyed a resting day today as opposed to sleep all day then fret I’ve done nothing! I am actually on leave this week and have shuffled some plants around indoors and given them a good misting. During the winter months they get put on several window sills out of the way and watered when I remember. Most are doing very well and a couple have been warned that if they want to go to the great compost in the sky to hurry up or sort themselves out 🤣
I am also on new blood pressure tablets which are much better and I had a CT scan yesterday.Unfollowed a couple of threads, eaten almost all my chocolate and that’s about it!
My furry nursemaids have been guarding me and most of their toys are here as well 🙄
Husband has been doing a wonderful job so as a thank you for looking after me so well - ie very few complaints lol - I am taking him out for lunch on Friday 😊
Take care all of you xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Hello. Just one thing out today which was a big suitcase. Which was from mums and had still had its label on. Dropped off at charity shop in town. Then had a mooch round with my sensible head saying you do not need but my oooh just have a look head saying go on! Anyway I found a beautiful set of long length and lined curtains from next which will be perfect for new house.Picked up a load of sturdy boxes from supermarket.12

I really had to be strong today - the devil was on my shoulder - the local Scrapstore was having a one day craft supplies sale. I told myself that I didn't need anything then I got a notice on social media about it.
I wanted to go to have a look - in case there was something that I didn't have - not very likely!
I got another message about how well the sale was going. I looked around at my stuffed craft room and told myself - No!
Another message came to say - just an hour left of the sale. I thought the sale is for a good cause - local Mencap - I resisted but it was so hard.
I have decluttered craft bits today while making cards. I am sending some stuff along to the charity shop tomorrow.
I have found fabric in my stash to make doll house curtains so that will add to my numbers.
